I keep getting the message "Windows cannot open the folder. The compressed Folder [filename] is invalid" after downloading any files from the site other than the lite version of MSE itself.
I've tried the site links and the Githubs, to the same result.
What are some possible remedies?

Yes, I am having the same problem. I used ver 2.0.0 and had great success with it. I attempted to download the new templates and retrieved the same error. I attempted a complete rebuild with the new application and source files but I cannot get them to function correctly.
I can load the program, but none of the templates area available. If I place the program in the folder with the templates, it may or may not display some of the templates when trying to create a new set. If I place the templates into the program folder, I get no options when attempting to create a new set.

Did that, it still didn’t work I have a work around that I am using at the moment, I restored my old 2.0.0 version and copied the 2.1.2 exe to that folder. I am adding the templates one at a time to see which ones work and which ones don’t. It’s working for now, but it’d be nice to have a batch process that worked correctly. |

The problem isn't that I have the files and can't place them in the correct directory; rather, I can't seem to download the files at all.
All of the .zip files come back either "invalid" or empty.

I just downloaded all the packages from the "Additional Resources: MSE Downloads" page. All the zip files open without a problem, I was unable to replicate your error.

I can unzip the files, but I cannot "open the zip" it says its invalid. The application is not found within the zip file.

Something has been corrected because now everything seems to be there and working fine. The files are no longer showing an error when attempting to open. also, the application is also in the file, which it wasn't previously

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? If the files changed, your browser might have a cached page still pointing to a broken version of the file. *Shrug*
I don't know, just spitballing.
