Tristan Antreas
"I could never be satisfied with just one world."
#1aac9a
Tristan hails from Titan City, a bustling, high tech metropolis in the Federation of Freeland States, on the plane of Cybolan.
Although not a planeswalker in his own right, his latent ability allows him to pilot a sparkship, and he holds dual majors
in mana manipulation and technomantic engineering. Or, as most planes would call it, he's a highly trained artificer and pilot.
His own world was too mundane, with precious few frontiers left to discover, so he's taken to the multiverse in search of adventure.
Color Identity: Colorless (Generic), Cyan
{About Cyan}
Cyan is a color of mana that does not occur in nature. Rather, it is a byproduct of the growth and development of civilizations. As cultures advance in technology and learn to master the world around them,
they begin to influence and alter the natural landscape to meet their needs. Mountains are carved, forests logged, swamps drained, cities erected, and sometimes even artificial islands created, or natural
ones destroyed. Over time, this artificial influence on the landscape even begins to alter the energy of the mana flowing through the plane. From this process, Cyan mana emerges.
Cyan is the color of progress, of mastery over nature and altering the world to suit the needs of civilization. Cyan seeks to bend nature and even reality to its will, to constantly innovate and improve on
everything it sees. Unlike the methodical perfectionism of Blue, or the peace-loving idealism of White, Cyan doesn't have an end goal. Progress is itself an eternal goal. Innovation not a means to an end,
but a way of life. Everything can be improved on, and there is no question that can't be answered, nor problem that can't be solved. It's fine to make mistakes, because mistakes are just new areas for
improvement and discovery. Cyan is never afraid to change or try new things, and always challenging itself to be better.
At its best, this makes Cyan versatile, adaptive, and able to grow. At its worst, it becomes obsessive, self-destructive, and unable to see the big picture.
Mechanically, Cyan overlaps a bit with all the five natural colors, because all of them hold aspects of civilization's efforts and desires. However, it seldom perfectly emulates what other colors can do.
As the color of solutions, Cyan has an answer for virtually any situation. However, as it is also the color of "failing forward", its answers tend not to worry about the long term. It has "soft" removal and
counters that can push a threat back until later, but no hard ones. Instead, Cyan tries to push forward on borrowed time to reach a state where the former threat no longer concerns it. Cyan is also

the color of innovation, new ideas, and flashes of sudden inspiration. As such, it's at its best when breaking new ground, using old ideas in new ways or exploring concepts the other colors haven't.
Cyan comes directly from the advancement and understanding of civilizations, and so things created of Cyan mana tend to embody more modern concepts.

The air screamed as a strange vessel ripped through the upper atmosphere, its surface glowing angry orange and red. It headed for the ground at a steep angle, only to level off as it passed
through the cloud layer, wings unfolding from its sides. It continued to glide along at the same altitude for some time as its hull cooled, revealing a surface more like porcelain than metal.
It slowed as it passed over an inhabited region, and for a moment hovered in the air before beginning to descend. Once again, the wings folded in, and in their place a set of mechanical legs
extended from the bottom of the craft, cushioning its landing as it settled in an open field a short ways from town. A short ramp extended from the side of the sparkship, and its hull rearranged
itself to open a hatch, from which stepped a young-looking man with messy hair, wearing some sort of mechanical armour. He smiled as he looked around, remarking to no one in particular,
"I'm glad this plane has a breathable atmosphere. That helmet gets too damn stuffy."
