Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest!
Here we go, competitors: our two-hundred and fourteenth challenge!
The winner of the "Where to next?" poll was myself with...
And the challenge issued by our winner was...
Daij_Djan said:A few days ago, Avengers: Infinity War started airing in cinemas all around the world – a big and anticipated blockbuster featuring many, many superheroes. I'd like to go and watch it myself – yet considering I've missed like half of the previous movies leading to it, I don't think I will do so (yet).
Still, I'm using it as an inspiration for this week's challenge. Choose any superhero you want (it does not have to be Marvel or DC at all) and design a card for them. There is one restriction, though: You're not allowed to design a creature or planeswalker card. I do not want you to design a card featuring the hero themself, but rather an ability, accessories or any kind of gimmik associated with that character. Think of the Spider-Sense or the Batsignal.
If you want some inspiration, here is one of many lists out there (it's the most detailed I could come up with, though) – but please note: It lists all villians as well, however there are some filters at the bottom of the page.
To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render.
Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post.
And now, time to begin the challenge!
Best of luck, competitors!
