Hello, I am SarthesArai of the UESPWiki. We've been looking for a "card renderer" for easy updating of the cards of the Elder Scrolls: Legends game for a while, and it just occured to me that we could use the MSE for that purpose. I've been trying to create a new new game and style template for that purpose (by copying and altering the original magic game and post 8th edition style), and while my MSE does find my created game, that game has no styles selectable (I did change the game to legends in the style file). Is anybody able to help me? Thanks in advance.

aight, you should have a "legends.mse-game" folder and a "legends-new.mse-style" folder, and in legends-new.mse-style/style you should have the lines "game: legends" and
depends on: package: legends.mse-game version: 2017-03-23 with whatever version number you have on legends.mse-game. Double check that all of that is set up

It seems my troubles were caused by having the game the same name as the style thank you for your quick help! :-)

okay, uh oh, you don't have a quick language guide for creating new templates, do you?

I'm having another problem: I have the following code in my style file, to display the power.png at the specified location if the card field "power" (defined by the game) has any value - but nothing happens. Can anyone point me to where the error might lie?
extra card field type: choice name: power icon editable: false save value: false
extra card style: power icon: left: 14 top: 255 width: 71 height: 159 z index: 2 visible: { card.power != "" } render style: image popup style: in place image: power.png

you need
choice: icon in the extra card field. You don't need popup in the extra card style unless you're the user is going to be able to manually change the image from mse
