Okay, I'm gonna admit to something: I am a Vorthos. I mean... a LOT of players are Vorthoses, and I am one of them. I'm well into the story, setting and characters of the game, perhaps moreso than the actual mechanical mumbo jumbo. This means I'm about as Mel as a masterpiece by Vincent Van Gogh, and thus couldn't make a full-blown Magic set on my own if I had an etherium augmentation... or if my virtual wallet had an Ethereum augmentation. If I'd be in any team in R&D, it'd be Creative, which is a shame since I look up to Maro as a pseudo-Izzet mentor, yet his expertise is in mechanics. I guess that makes me more Prismari, then...?
Thus, I've resolved to focus more on smaller, thematic sets, on a similar scale to the From the Vault series and Secret Lair drops, that focus less on mechanics, and more on the parts of the game in which I excel: flavour. These expansions are all sixteen cards total, with at least a couple silver-bordered masterpieces thrown in for good measure, because gags and parodies are puns o' fun.
I'll start with my first finished project, which is based on my Splatoon comedy/parody fanfic series. This is thus far the only Secret Vault set to have artwork on every card, including four alt-art masterpieces, and one full-art masterpiece version of Squigley, the Tidewatcher.
