Violence. Graphic, bloody, mentally scaring. John had gotten used to it hours ago. While there was plenty of variety to the nature of the violence, to the perpetrator, it all followed similar trends. His mind was growing accustomed to it, and in some ways that horrified him more.
But the white static that followed. He was never getting used to that. The jarring return to reality, and the reminder of how much more he had left. The last video had featured a teenager, not much younger than John's own niece, bashing his parent's skulls in with a baseball bat. And in the static, John could swear he could almost see her, Nina Furo, standing there with the same blood-soaked bat.
It was getting to him. There was no doubt about that. But there was still so much of the collection left to watch and if he didn't do it, if he didn't bear witness, who would? And if no one watched, if no one saw how each of these stories had ended, then in some ways the deaths were even more permanent. He gritted his teeth, and slid in another new VHS Tape. What horrors did he have left to see?
Video Horror System is an 81 card rarity-less set based on horror tropes, where each card is meant to give a peek into one of the titular tapes. The set introduces two new mechanics in order to sell its themes:
Rerun is a Rebound like; when you cast a rerun spell from your hand, you exile it as it resolves. Then, when a creature you control next dies, you may cast it for free.
Horrific is a state that a player can be, as long as they've sacrificed a permanent or discarded a card this turn.

Just to clarify, the set is already completed. The PS link has all 81 cards in it. Not sure if it's accurate, but your comment somewhat sounded like a "looking forward to what you do" statement, so I wanted to clear that up.
