Hello, traveler. Yes, you. Thought you wouldn't be noticed walking up those steps, wouldn't you?
I won't disturb you long, don't worry. But before you cross that gate, there are three things you should know.
I am the Miller Estate, the manor stretched out before you. I am alive.
And I have been alone for far, far too long.
The Miller Estate/Milly, Embodied Estate Challenge Achievement: Monomania - Credo of the Ruler Colors: Mana Value: 3 CI Level: 1 Type Mastery: Sorcery
Keywords: Aggravate the Miller Estate (When a player aggravates her, the Miller Estate uses a loyalty ability. If she’s not already in the game, she enters the game.)

Trophies: Chosen of Elsewhere - While attacking, you may design cards with coalesce (or union if you already have coalesce), and your Revelations get +2/+2.

{THE MILLER ESTATE RULES} The Miller Estate is counted as both a Planeswalker permanent and a player for the purposes of most rules. She cannot be destroyed, exiled, sacrificed, phased out, or otherwise leave the battlefield.
The Miller Estate does not have a life total, instead possessing loyalty like a normal Planeswalker.
Whenever the Miller Estate would gain or lose life, she gains or loses that much loyalty instead (putting or removing loyalty counters as appropriate). The Miller Estate does not leave the battlefield or lose the game for having 0 loyalty. The Miller Estate treats her loyalty as her life total for effects that refer to her life total or gaining/losing life.
The Miller Estate enters play with a deck of loyalty ability cards known as the loyalty deck. The Miller Estate’s loyalty deck begins with ten specific cards (see below), but its contents can be modified as the game progresses. The loyalty deck is considered the Miller Estate’s library.
When the Miller Estate joins a game, she draws three cards from her loyalty deck to form her hand, which is always revealed. She begins with five loyalty
Loyalty ability cards have “Loyalty Ability” in their text box and have loyalty costs instead of mana costs. Playing a loyalty card counts as the Miller Estate activating one of her loyalty abilities. Played loyalty ability cards go in their owner’s graveyard after they are activated.
Once on her turn and whenever she is instructed use a loyalty ability, the Miller Estate chooses one loyalty ability card she can play from her hand at random and plays it. If she cannot play any cards from her hand, the Miller Estate must discard a card at random, then gets 1 loyalty. After she plays or discards a card this way, the Miller Estate draws a card.
Unless stated otherwise by an ability or effect, the Miller Estate normally chooses targets for her abilities at random. If she controls creatures, she chooses which player to attack at random from among herself and her opponents. If she chooses herself, that creature does not attack this combat. If she chooses another player, she decides whether to attack them, a planeswalker they control, or a battle they protect randomly.
The Miller Estate considers herself her owner and controller.

Aki feels something off in her periphery and turns around to investigate. Briar is caught off guard as the girl seems to recognize her following, flaring her wings a bit late to slow down. She flits in full view of the ghost girl. Some sort of wisp... child. Is that what happened to those that followed them?
"What are you... doing?" she asked, unsure if the wisp would even be able to respond, but unsure of what else to say. Sorcery Exile up to two target cards from a single graveyard. Those cards owner reveals their hand and discards all cards that share a name with the exiled cards. The strange creature reminded her of home, in all the wrong ways. Spirit Sense - not a particularly exciting kicker, but it does its job 8/10

Not Quite Right is ok, but I personally feel like it should be WB. 8/10 Aki looked at the faerie and replied, “...nothing. What are you doing?”Whimsical Dismissal Instant - Arcane Kicker Counter target spell. If ~ was kicked, gain 4 life. ”What, you think you’re so tough?”

"So, you can talk," she looks at her strangely. "As for me... trying to figure out how you look like that, and why you're throwing leaves around, for a start." The whole situation was beyond strange, but so had so many things since she fled the hive. She was learning to work with the weirdness. Instant The controller of target spell loses X life, where X is the amount of mana spent to cast that spell. "Sometimes you've got to get a bit creative."
Whimsical Dismissal -its an absorb variant. p sure its generally worse than absorb tho. 7/10

Work with Weirdness is a weird card that probably shouldn't be rare due to not interacting with the spell at all. 7/10 Aki shrugged at the faerie and said "Leaves just kind of follow me where I go. I've gotten used to it by now"Brush Off Instant Kicker Counter target instant. If this spell was kicked, exile it instead. A good mage knows when to counter and when to just let it slide.

Briar narrowed her eyes at the wisp girl. "And how long have you been this weird... human shape?" Curious Wisp Creature - Spirit Flying
Curious Wisp gets +1/+0 for each card you own in exile. 1/2
---
Of Another World Instant - Adventure Exile up to two target cards from graveyards.
briar is confused
on the previous then you're better counterspell and better absorb which is yikes Brush Off - is another one where the kicker is very underwhelming. given Dispel the exile could just be for free at 1U and still not even be that good. 7/10

I didn't even realize Dispel existed. Curious Wisp I think could work as monowhite, but that's more of a personal thing than everything else. 9/10 Aki just stares at the fairy for a second before saying... "...for most of my life? I mean, I've been told I wasn't always humanoid, but I sure don't remember those days."Aki's Rebirth Sorcery - Arcane Kicker Choose a number.
Sacrifice a creature with converted mana cost equal to the chosen number. If ~ was kicked, destroy target creature with converted mana cost equal to the chosen number instead.
Search your library for an Aki planeswalker or Spirit creature card with a converted mana cost equal to the chosen number plus one, put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library.
All credit to 2wb2go! on the discord for coming up with the condensed version of this

Briar seems to be getting more on edge.
"Yea? And what do you remember? Eating a faerie or two, perhaps?" Pointed Accusation Sorcery Choose a card name. Target opponent reveals their hand and discards all cards with the chosen name. If no cards are discarded this way, each player discards a card.
Aki's Rebirth - this is... a bit of mess that i had to read through quite a few times to finally get. i think this should get simplified to just the destroy effect that reanimates any Spirit or Aki when kicked. The flavor here scans, mechanically its just a bit much. 5/10

Crap, you're right. I based it off birthing pod. Pointed Accusation may be a little strong, but I'm not sure? 8/10 Aki stares at Briar for a second before smirking and letting out a small chuckle. "Nothing too important, Briar." Logical Rebuttal Instant Counter target spell unless its controller pays . Draw a card. In the Azorius Senate, logic is the only way to win an argument.

The sounds of commotion and argument in the distance garnered the attention of Bernadette. Wisps of smoky shadows dissipated from her figure as she made her way to the scene, eager to patiently observe from afar. Yet as soon as she saw the lively spirit, she could not help but gasp. She never thought she'd encounter someone back from her home plane in all her journeys. She rushes to the ghost girl with newfound excitement. "Is that really you Aki!?"Wraith of Painful Remembrance Creature — Horror Shadow When Wraith of Painful Remembrance enters the battlefield, each player draws a card and loses 1 life. 2/1 (I'm not sure if I'm supposed to judge Aki's most recent card or not since it's directed to Briar, so I won't for now.)

Alright, Wraith of Painful Remembrance could be a bear in my opinion, but I get why it's not. Shoot First Instant This spell costs less to cast if you or a spell or permanent you control is the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls. Shoot First... why is this not a trap? This is almost literally the trap effect. It's like a slightly worse Needlebite Trap. As for balance, this is an Alms of the Vein at instant speed for 1 more, and it even has a cost reduction to make this comparison similar. Something seems off, but I think it's fine? 8/10. foureyesisafish Exposing Wear: White cards that destroy artifacts usually also work on enchantments, but I could see this in a strongly artifact-themed set (which would also explain the low power level). Could you review my card before you null Aki? I don't believe you need to make a response card if you don't want to, but I'd like to close ties between Bernadette and Aki before she's gone for good.

First off: This counterspell may be too strong for common. 8/10. Second off: Aki isn't leaving for good. She's just leaving for the time being. I'm only nulling her because I don't have enough valor to change characters without nulling.

Aki dodges out of the way of the bolt and stares at Briar for a second like a deer caught in some headlights. Slowly, she picks up a stone and begins to walk over in an intimidating fashion. She seemed monumental in scope despite staying the same size.Ethereal Reflexes Instant - Arcane Until end of turn, you have hexproof (You can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control.)Alright Old Stone, your time to shine! I call Kami of Old Stone for aid. Briar flits up higher, whispering into her crossbow as another bolt grows from her hand. "You can pull names and the best you can do is a rock? What are you?" //After a few moments, faeries fly up behind Aki Sorcery Search your library for a creature card with converted mana cost X or less, where X is the greatest power or greatest toughness among creatures your opponents control. Put that card onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library. Ethereal Reflexes - p sure this is super overcosted. 7/10
Call for Backup... why? Why does this have to exist? I'm pretty sure this is extremely overpowered depending on the context due to being pretty undercosted. It does depend on your opponents though. 6/10 i guess?Aki waves her hand, knocking the faeries away before walking away with a glare in her eyes.Exit Gust Instant Return up to two target creatures that entered the battlefield this turn to their owner's hand.

Parasign Pretty sure this is overcosted given that it's two colors. Like it otherwise. 9/10.

A young woman with short, jet-black hair has appeared in the arena, walking around in a strange, almost robotic gait.
A bird flutters down in front of her... and she jumps back, clearly frightened to an extent. The fear wears off quickly, but it shows that something is definitely wrong with her.
Anne Myria has entered the Arena.
