Sets Sharing Policy: You have my express permission to reprint or functionally reprint cards from my sets, use them in custom cubes, and so on, as long as I'm appropriately credited. If you're interested in doing a more substantial transformative project on a set as a whole, like a remix, overhaul, or similar, get in touch and ask - I'll almost certainly give permission, but I'm curious to see what you do! Mechanics Sharing Policy: You have my express permission to use any of these mechanics for any purpose, adjust them, reimagine them, pretty much anything you like. No need to credit, especially if you've made a lot of changes, but I'd like it if you did nonetheless. And please let me know! I like seeing other people's implementations of stuff I've made. DeployKeyword action Deploy. (To deploy, create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token or put a +1/+1 counter on a Soldier you control.)This isn't a modal ability and it doesn't target - you choose your option, and where the +1/+1 counter goes if applicable, as the effect resolves. Multiple instances of deploy are resolved sequentially and not all at once. Appears in Magnificent Tales.HardenedStatus (A nontoken creature with power greater than its converted mana cost is hardened.)Don't use this with static abilities, or the layer system will mess you up. Appears in Magnificent Tales.ManeuverKeyword Maneuver (Creatures blocking this creature get -1/-1.)Possible evergreen candidate. This is a static ability and only lasts until the end of combat.MultitaskKeyword Multitask (Whenever this creature attacks, you may activate one of its abilities without paying the cost. You still pay all other costs.)This is a triggered ability - you must activate the ability as the trigger resolves or not at all. Timing restrictions still apply, so sorcery-speed tap abilities can't be multitasked.PaleKeyword Pale (Each you spend to cast this spell pays for .)This only affects the generic portion of a spell's cost, but it does apply to additional costs like kicker.ReverenceKeyword Reverence (mana) (Tap any number of creatures you control with at least (mana) in their combined mana costs: This Relic becomes an artifact creature until end of turn.)Reverence can encompass any combination of generic or colored symbols. As with devotion, hybrid mana counts as any of its colors but can only be counted once. I use the planeshifted artifact frame for Relics, but other frame treatments are possible.ScapegoatKeyword Scapegoat a (thing) (You may cast this spell from your graveyard by sacrificing a (thing) in addition to paying its other costs.)Appears in Build Our Own Draft Set 2: The Last Leg.Toil countersGame element (You may pay a toil counter instead of for abilities of nonland permanents, once per permanent per turn.)Toil counters go on players, like energy. You can feed a toil counter to a permanent that's summoning sick or already tapped.TumorizeKeyword action Tumorize (one or more permanents). (A tumorized permanent is a colorless Tumor land with ": Add " and loses all other types and abilities.)This effect lasts indefinitely. Tumors retain their names.UnrestAbility word Unrest - (effect) if you've discarded a card this turn. It doesn't matter where the card went as long as the word "discard" was involved. Appears in Magnificent Tales.

Planeswalkers Sharing Policy: Please ask permission and be ready to give credit if you'd like to use one of my characters in a project. Primary characters have tight story arcs mapped out for them and don't take too well to guest appearances - you can ask about them, but it's likely to be a no. Secondary characters have less linear stories and a lot more wriggle room - do make sure to ask nonetheless, but it's probably a yes. Ages are as of +0 in the timeline. Primary Characters The heart and soul of the Shiftyverse roster. Agathi Full name: Agathi Colwyn Species: Human Age: 26 Homeland: Titan's Rest, Endarion Synopsis: An artificer who specializes in repairing and repurposing what's broken and battered, Agathi is theoretically scouring the multiverse for the fabled Timechanger, an artifact she hopes will let her save her parents and her tribe from their deaths many years ago. In practice, she has drifted a long, long way off-course, stopping for all manner of distractions and sometimes even coming out of her adventures intact. Andreov Full name: Undisclosed (Andreov is a stage name) Species: Human Age: "In his forties" Homeland: Tin Street, Ravnica Synopsis: Andreov was a legendary playwright, wordmage, and guildless advocate on Ravnica until Orzhov censorship cost him his credibility, his livelihood, and his sobriety. After an attempt on his life by debt collectors ignited his spark and started a six-year sabbatical across the multiverse, he's almost ready to return home, as the third act of his untitled magnum opus is finally complete... and it demands an eager audience. Obris Full name: Obris Rook Species: Human Age: 45 Homeland: Elnoch, Arrale Synopsis: Born into the ascendant imperial dynasty of Elnoch, Obris Rook's life of comfort and luxury was snatched away at fifteen as a republican revolution deposed his father and executed most of his family. Now, Obris travels the many worlds and flaunts the magical remnants of his imperial authority, biding his time and readying himself for the day when he will return home to take back his throne. Varoly Full name: Aia Varoly Species: Human Age: 39 Homeland: Drilidia, Magnificent Isles Synopsis: Aia Varoly is the youngest of five planeswalkers vying for dictatorship of the militaristic Thousand League, after the death of its founder, Vaustus Karavian, some twenty years ago. She's currently the least favored candidate in the contest to impress Karavian's council, and desperately searching for some last-minute victory that will propel her ahead of our rivals. Secondary Characters Allies, enemies, rogue elements, and other people of note. Arto Full name: Arto Schalfen Species: Human Age: 21 Homeland: Nephalia, Innistrad Synopsis: Arto is a mindmage who works primarily on his own brain, putting layers upon layers of enchantments on himself in an obsessive quest for maximum efficiency. The resultant magical stress has made him a somewhat eccentric character, and, recently, the host for an aggressive, territorial psychic being named Father Naclos who cohabits his mind. What plans Naclos may have for his accidental creator are currently unclear even to Arto. Macaria Full name: Mersezza Macaria Species: Human Age: 37 Homeland: Saprazzo, Mercadia Synopsis: A prolific interplanar historian and the head of the Curation Office, a small organization recently commissioned by the Magnificent to monitor and study the Magnificent Isles. While her remit is, in theory, strictly scholastic and Macaria is notoriously afraid of violence, her two current employees, retired mercenary Mors Venuis and young demonologist Richor Tailor, often have other ideas... Maurer and Sxali Full names: Sals Maurer and Uqilla Sxali Species: Human Age: 30 Homelands: Kessig, Innistrad / Hold of Reason, Ccayrua Synopsis: Maurer and Sxali's planeswalker sparks ignited at exactly the same moment and became entangled, meaning they can only planeswalk as a single unit. Though Maurer's occult superstition often clashes with Sxali's rationality and skepticism, they have proven a surprisingly effective team, and now devote themselves to investigating the darkest, weirdest corners of the multiverse and the trail of the enigmatic Volatile Exoplanar Entities. The Mercury Street Immense Full names: Xandr Thirdborn, Previous Irons, Locutor Lig, and Cadenza Species: Human, cybernetic human, vedalken, and orc Age: Various early twenties Homeland: Stratopol, Magnificent Isles Synopsis: A Stratopolitan inventor on the verge of making a successful interplanar voyage in his prototype planeship had his hopes dashed when a misfit street gang broke into his workshop and stole it. The Immense are an odd bunch - a wasteland survivalist, an escaped cyber-slave, a defector from the Uran Combine, and a bored orphan with a death wish - but they're closer than siblings and will fight tooth and nail together in pursuit of survival, profit, and a good time. Oel Full name: Oel Species: Mercy Legionnaire (augmented human) Age: 28 Homeland: Barely worth mentioning Synopsis: Oel is the product of a supersoldier project intended to win a war that ended before he ever saw combat. Spark ignited by the fear of purposelessness, he has become a mercenary, still armed and armored to the teeth with biomagical grafts. Though he doesn't actively seek out the multiverse's greatest villains, it's not easy to get hired by the good guys when you're eight feet tall with toxic skin...

His first planeswalk is to Theros, where he soon starts researching how to improve himself through his dreams. -2, Isles: The Mercury Street Immense steal their prototype planeship. -1, Isles: Events of Fools for the Fire: Ecrah of Fortune's Fools and the planeswalker Arto Schalfen form a hasty alliance to investigate the activity of a bizarre cult based in New Oxidda's West Mountain. +0, Isles: Events of Stratopol: as Urafina attempts an invasion of Stratopol with vedalken sleeper agents and an army of bio-engineered monsters, Aia Varoly, Obris Rook, Mersezza Macaria, and local vagrant and latent planeswalker Apostrophe all end up fighting to defend the city. Apostrophe sparks in the process, and her first planeswalk takes her to Mercadia.
