I'm trying to make templates for creating custom Gloomhaven content. I've managed a fairly good job, I think (e.g. ability card: imgur.com/ADlXbHH), but there are a bunch of question that I don't know enough about MSE to solve. - Is it possible to have a gradient colour for text? It seems like it should be possible with transparent overlays or something but I can't work it out.
- I have a "class symbol" as the set symbol. Is there a way to have this available in the symbol-font, so that the class symbol can be used in card text?
- I'd like the card type to appear in the card list pane. However, the different types of card are different styles - is there a way to set a `type` field based on what style the card uses?
- Some card text lines should appear smaller (e.g. ranged attacks will be formatted with a line "Attack 2" that's normal size, then a line "Range 4" that's smaller). Is there a way to change font size within the same text box?
- Can you have partially-transparent pieces of a card overlaid onto an image? e.g. one of the borders on the character mat portrait has a drop shadow that I'd like to keep if I can.
Thanks in advance!

1. Yes, but as far as I'm aware only if you set it up as a symbol font. You'll have to make individual images of each letter (upper and lower case), digit and character you want to be able to use in the chosen field, using your image editor of choice. 2. Best I can think is to screenshot the symbol and make an image from it that way. 3. I don't remember, but something tickling the back of my mind says it should be possible. You might see if the style file in Ani-Mayhem Standard has your answer. 4. If memory serves, it should be <size=+whatever>. 5. You want a blend mask. It should be white (#ffffff) where you want image1 to be fully visible, black (#000000) where image 2 is fully visible, and shades of gray for varying transparency.

Ah, I wanted the colours for the gradient and the symbol to change when the set info is updated. Having them as static files in the symbol-font isn't any good unfortunately.
I'll have to see if I can work out how to have it automatically tag lines with <size> tags - can anyone suggest something to look at for examples?
