Three things:
1) Basic land types intrinsically have " : Add <colour>" as an ability. Thus, listing them on the card itself as standard rules text is redundant; if anything they should be reminder text. (See Moonring Island and Godless Shrine for examples.)
2) As of Dominaria "to your mana pool" is deprecated. (see also above; that isn't a typo.)
3) The ETB abilities are actively detrimental in 1v1 scenarios and are only useful for multiplayer variants like EDH and Generals.

Alright then. These are meant for EDH scenarios. I'm making a set meant for commander. I will also change them to your suggestions!!

Also!!! You think it would be better if they just said 'Comes into play tapped unless *an* opponent has more lands than you'?

That would make it viable for 1v1. There isn't really any precedent for this; land cards ETBT'ing tend to care more about what lands you have.

The idea reminds me of the Battlebond lands that care about your opponents, which are just strictly better than your original idea. The current idea just encourages you to not go first or play ramp, which you generally want to do in EDH.
