{Backstory:}
Once, the world of Lovi was wild and uncivilized, populated by fae, goblins, elves, and races of all kinds, living side by side with the old gods who walked the earth. One day, Ivenge, a planeswalker from Innistrad, came across the plane and decided to reshape it in his own image; a paradise for humans to live peaceful lives. To that end, he buried the plane itself under his own magic, crushing away all that didn't fit his vision. Only humans and wilderness remained.
For centuries, Lovi was as Ivenge desired. Humanity thrived under the democratic Risti Parliament he'd established to rule them, scarcity and threat of violent death were a thing of the past, and magic was a distant memory -- in its place, humanity developed its technological prowess to constantly strive for better life, all while worshipping Ivenge as their Father, their deliverer from the old, bestial days. From afar, Ivenge continued to try adjusting the laws of reality to suit his needs... but one day, the Mending came. Afraid of his waning power and immortality, he weaved a powerful spell that would ensure his survival for as long as he'd be venerated. He left the world fully for Risti to rule, only answering the occasional prayer, and retreated away...
Some years later, Kaur, an archon from a faraway plane, came across Lovi on his travels. Immediately, he felt that something was wrong; that the world he'd entered was false, unnatural, horrifyingly unchanging. Using his power over cycles, Kaur reached deeply within Lovi's depths and pulled... and with that, the world itself broke. The old Lovi, that had still fermented under Ivenge's cover, began to fill the space the new Lovi was now occupying. Cities were replaced with wilderness. Eerie phenomena began to affect the populace. Magic re-entered the bodies of the people. All over the world, creatures humanity hadn't gazed upon for ages walked the earth once more. The world as Lovi had known it was at an end.
Humanity was, mostly, forced to adjust alone. Ivenge, afraid of the world he'd conquered conquering his weakened state, worked in secret to re-establish control. Kaur was content to merely wander the world and take in the sights. Only one outsider helped; Reyhsia, a planeswalker who'd arrived after the awakening, took it upon herself to record the unfolding past and help humanity come to grips with their ancestry.
