Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of each week, a winner will be determined by forum poll. The winner's card will be rendered and featured on the Welcome page, and the winner decides the challenge for the next week's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our three-hundred and first challenge! The winner of the "The Future is Now" poll was Boogymanjunior with...And the challenge issued by our winner was... To increase your chances of winning and to also make creating the poll easier on whomever is doing so, please try to use a render. Additionally, please try to keep your entry edits all in one post - if you need to change it you can put your old entry in a spoiler marked "Old entry" and leave the newest rendition to be seen. Just use the edit button in the top/right of your original post. And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors!

Callaphe's Rebuff - Instant As long as your devotion to blue is five or greater, Callaphe’s Rebuff costs less to cast. (Each in the mana costs of permanents you control counts toward your devotion to blue.) Counter target spell.

@fabuloussunbro: By your blessings combined, I am the ghost of Saint Alyosius?
Because my retrace deck could still use some shoring up against problematic permanents:
Gaea's Vengeance Instant As an additional cost to cast this spell, discard a land card. Destroy target artifact or enchantment. Retrace (You may cast this card from your graveyard by discarding a land card in addition to paying its other costs.)

I like to make cards with a lot of words on them. I decided to do this one without any of my weird keyword/supertype shenanigans for a change.

Grand Fugue Sorcery Harmony—~ costs less to cast for each spell you've cast this turn that shares a type with it. Target player discards three cards. Its composer's 133rd opus, it was universally panned by contemporary critics, calling it "incomprehensible." It is now lauded as one of his finest works.

Well I'm back after a tough academic term, and this was in my FE x MTG collection (1 of 12), so yeah here it is. the Team keyword is just to add an extra layer for objects between teams, so each object that belongs to a specific team can get bonuses from other objects from the same team. Kill Order Sorcery Delegate (You may cast this spell for its delegate cost. If you do, an opponent chooses all modes and targets for this spell. You still control this spell.)Destroy target creature.

I got a few comments to push this to a 3/3, but I decided to leave it as a 3/2 so it could stay uncommon. I hope the flavor of "casting out dark thoughts" resonates.

It's just fun to submit stuff, you know? I don't know if this card is even all that interesting, but it did literally come to me in a dream.

Why does it have power and toughness if it’s a sorcery?

It ETB as a creature if you cast it for its Unseal cost, hence the power/toughness. I'm basing it off a keyword from someone's set on this site.

Icarael: My solution for that is to add as many spaces to the end as needed to separate them.
