Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment DeletedLove WWE and MTG, had this idea for forever, didn't know there was a community I could share my ideas with! I had fun creating these, even if they're unknowingly broken. In theory my idea for these would have been promotional material much like My Little Pony or SDCC

These are pretty cool, actually: not a wrestling fan but a lot of these designs are simple and cool. The creature types are kind of weird, I guess? (John Studd is neither legendary nor a human for some reason?)
As a set of cards though, it's kind of weird to note that the most powerful card here is inarguably Degeneration-X and not the cool beefsteaks. Yeah, John Cena is cool (a sentence I never thought I'd say on these fora) - it's less cool when he trades with a 1/1 and then you draw a card. Worst case, your opponent has a board wipe and you can "just" draw six cards for six mana. Gold Medal is awkward for the same reason - being able to repeatably gain 3 life for each white mana you have lets you counteract most of your opponents' attempts at attacking.

ahhh i completely forgot to add the tap symbol to Gold Medal..thats my bad. I suppose I don't need the draw a card clause on DX considering they could just play midnight reaper and get the same effect. technically speaking john cena can come in with indestructible...he's meant to be a boost pump to what you've already established...essentially it's Slivers lite...except wrestler instead of sliver. John Studd isn't legendary because I didn't feel he was as big a name as some other top stars in the format.
