"And that we're outside this book or simulation or whatever it is."

test Eternal Last Stand: Hard to evaluate; the closest equivalent I can find is Demonic Rising, which looks stronger at a glance but you're probably going to sacrifice the Knights anyway. I think this should trigger at end step so you at least have a chance to attack with them first. 8/10.The man ponders this discrepancy in his records, fear and determination in his eyes. "The thread-force…" he mutters to himself. "It's finally made its move. But what is it telling me? Knights and chivalry? Is it calling me naïve, or dishonorable… or is it the knight? Or… no… of course!" He laughs wildly. "It was Rudara all along! The goddess herself! And she wants to make a convert of me!" The man stands up, puts one hand on his heart, and looks up to the sky. "Rudara, if you can hear me—and I suspect you can—you have proven your power. If you demand loyalty, I cannot promise that; I know far too many of the evils mortals have committed in service of the divine. But all I seek is to know the reason for this world's importance. For your importance.
"By all appearances you do not wish to be known for what you truly are, and I understand that desire as well as anyone. But this knowledge could be the key to so many things. It is a crime of the highest order to keep from the Multiverse something so integral to it… but you could have its eternal gratitude (certainly, at least, my own) should you share this part of yourself.
"And if you don't…" he glowers. "Strike me down now, because I won't rest until I find answers one way or the other."Harmony with the MultiverseConspiracy Hidden agenda Whenever a triggered ability of a permanent you control with the chosen name triggers, copy that ability. You may choose new targets for the copy. As soon as the scholar accepts the possibility that he would be struck down, the rising moon turns blood red, bathing the snow in its glow, as the rest of the sky darkens in deference. "How impertinent." A Knight has appeared atop their steed, a shining golden lance pointed at present to the heavens. Their voice echoes slightly over the stilled landscape. "Who are you to say what is a crime for the divine?"
"Your gratitude would be meaningless; did you think that you were the center of all that had affected you?" With a flash, the lance has transformed into halberd that resembles a scepter, wielded in part by two of the four smaller limbs of light now sprouting from the Knight's back. Upon the Knight's helm is a tall shining crown ending in five parallel points. "The secret of this Arena's importance is all too obvious to those willing to see it—your myopic search ends here."
With that, the Knight's steed leaps forward, as they swing the halberd in a low wide arc in front of them, hoping to cleave through the scholar's torso. Arm of the Ecclesiarchy Enchantment Creature — Spirit Knight Bestow Whenever Arm of the Ecclesiarchy or enchanted creature attacks, it gains double strike until end of turn. Enchanted creature gets +1/+1. 1/1 Harmony with the Multiverse — This seems to be above average as far as power goes for Hidden Agendas; it also seems to be less useful for this kind of trigger (due to diminished opportunities to trigger again) than it would be for something like an especially valuable ETB. That said, it's a good response to treat the attack as a sort of synergy. 7/10

The Knight staggers, unable to correct their swing for their graze, or to control their mount. Having lost control of their weapon as well, they fall out of the saddle, onto the ground, and separated of their rider's light, the former steed dashes into the darkness, fading away and vanishing entirely, along with what was once a halberd. However, a current of memories stirs about the Scholar, and without the words being spoken, he understands the Knight's retort.
"And who is to say what is truth? So long as you cling to these notions, the true power of the Arena will elude you."
And the scene replays, the knight falling again, at a slightly different time, and then again, at a slightly different angle, the horse choosing a meaninglessly different direction to dash off in. Every vagary in the sensations experienced multiplies the possibilities by several orders of magnitude. Would it not be simpler to say that he fell, and was without a steed, and would soon continue the assault? No. Now the scholar must make sense of this too; which memory of what just happened is the immutable truth?
"Here is a trial for you, historian. How long had Sanaerti existed before our Goddess became its ruler? Does the very sense of 'when' still mean something to you?"
In the myriad scenes, all simultaneously true to some partial extent, superposed upon one another, the Knight is rising from the ground at inconsistent positions, only barely slowed from the impact before, and with a bewildering variety of conjured weaponry across each version, is preparing to lunge at the Scholar before he can come to his senses. Meaningless Myriad Enchantment Creature — Incarnation Whenever Meaningless Myriad or enchanted creature attacks, create a token that's a copy of it, and tapped and attacking. The man drops his pack and dives to the side, away from the attacks. Then he gets to his feet, and…
{The knight does nothing to stop him}…he begins to laugh.
"Truth is never entirely knowable; I knew that already. There is always uncertainty. We only have interpretations, tools to form as complete a picture as possible.
"My interpretations may disagree on how you fell, where your steed went, what weapons you conjured; perhaps they really did happen in multiple ways at once, a cloud of possibilities that each exist from different frames of reference. Perhaps Sanaerti really was founded at multiple different dates. I'm a historian; I work with conflicting accounts all the time.
"But this I do know: I can sense meaning. I can sense how you, and this world, alter probabilities and cleave reality into parts. I know you are real, and important, in a way few things are. All I wish to learn is the reason behind that importance: why you can do these things and others can't."
{The knight makes another attack}…his eyes go wide. He scrambles away from the knight, too late not to receive a grievous wound from one of their innumerable weapons.

The air still glitters with a floating web of technicolor blobs, but they're shrinking, collapsing in on themselves.
No one notices that Zero has awakened. You Live at My BehestOngoing Scheme When you set this scheme in motion, put up to two target permanent cards from different graveyards onto the battlefield under your control. With some difficulty between her single arm and weight, Zero drags herself back upward. Looking to the crying woman, she recognizes doing anything here is not her place. Instead, she strides over to the old man, and tries to pull him up one more time.
Make Sense of Things Instant Exile target spell or nonland permanent. Its controller creates X Gold tokens, where X is its mana value.
"What was any of that? None of it was real?" You Leave at My Behest - think you forgot the ongoing there. looks good 9/10

test Meaningless Myriad: Very cool design. 10/10.The man speaks another word, as impossible as the first. The knight's body goes numb, their vision hazy; their muscles begin to seize, and cold creeps into the corners of their mind.
The man drops his pack and dives to the side, away from the attacks. Then he gets to his feet, and he begins to laugh."Truth is never entirely knowable; I knew that already.
All I wish to learn is the reason behind that importance: why you can do these things and others can't."Word of PainConspiracy Hidden agenda When ~ is turned face up, target creature with the chosen name gets +3/-3 until end of turn. I know you are real, and important, in a way few things are.
A basic mistake. Possibilities collapse as the the myriad Knights are frozen in place. Then, one after another, they vanish, yet they speak, their voice never fading until their parting words are complete. "You fool! Most importantly, you cannot see even what is plainly shown to you, much less see things as they should be. You will never understand this Arena." The final Knight vanishes; none of them were true.
The stars return. A cold wind blows under the moon's pale silver light. For how quickly the memories of the past few minutes try to flee the Scholar, it could have all been a dream—if not for the wound on his arm. Word of Pain — My evaluation places this as slightly less useful than word of unmaking, given a slight reduction in versatility. Still, an absolutely free combat trick's a free combat trick. 8/10

cajun Make Sense of Things: This feels more WU than RW, what with being able to exile spells. I guess I can see the red in using it on your own spell, though. 8/10.For a second time, the man gasps awake as Zero pulls him up. "Wha— oh good, you made it out." The man unsteadily gets to his feet. "Not real in the sense you mean, no. It was a sort of—"
"Out." Alsy stands facing the two, pointing to the door.
The man turns to look at her, glancing at Lysenda's body as he does so, and after a moment of shock and recognition his expression turns to one of deepest regret. "I am so, so sorry for what happened. It was all my—"
"OUT. "
The man sheepishly walks to the exit.Cope with LossConspiracy Whenever you sacrifice a permanent, scry 1.

WindyDelcarlo Technocracy's Influence: A bit awkward that this only works when attacked by one specific player in multiplayer. Doesn't really feel white, given all it does is make mana. The restriction might need to be there but I think it could stand to be made easier to meet. 8/10. "So it's as I thought." The man nods, surreptitiously glancing down at his notebook. "Thank you, Rel. You've been more helpful than you know. I'd greatly appreciate hearing more about Daira and what happens over the next four hundred years."Forbidden KnowledgeConspiracy , Pay 2 life: Draw a card. "Well, I can shorten it a bit and say 'a lot' but I'm sure that's not what you're lookin' for. Big one's that we started bein' interplanar like the Technocracy, basically everythin' else is small in comparison. There's a few wars back there a bit, most of 'em didn't amount to anything."This would probably be one of the more powerful conspiracies? 4 mana is a lot, though, so maybe that's enough. 8/10 Stalemate on Agahia Enchantment Attacking creatures have trample. Whenever a creature attacks, the defending player creates a 1/1 white Soldier creature token. For over a year, two major military powers stared at each other across a forest, accomplishing nothing as they did. This card is dumb, enjoy.

cajun Botched Job: Seems perhaps a bit weak, but it's a good clean design. 9/10.The man sighs. "Poor girl." He turns to Zero. "I suppose I owe you the full explanation. It was a sort of self-perpetuating story. Lysenda's mind formed the seed, and our minds were trapped along with it and hijacked to help power it—hence our ability to influence what was happening. Unfortunately the incomplete protection sigils meant it was unstable, and if we hadn't gotten back into our own heads we would've died when it collapsed completely."
He takes a deep breath.
"And yes, this has taught me to be much more careful with my books. All this time I've been waiting for something to come after me, for the Arena to resist my intrusion into its affairs. But the only one to cause harm has been myself." He sighs again. "My fear and foolishness, putting others at risk when I was barely at risk myself – that's what got poor Lysenda killed." He sets his jaw. "I won't let it be for nothing. This ends now."Benefactor's DiscretionConspiracy Hidden agenda Whenever you cast a spell with the chosen name, choose one— • Put a +1/+1 counter or a loyalty counter on each creature or planeswalker that spell targets. Each player that spell targets draws a card. • That spell deals 3 damage to each of its targets.

WindyDelcarlo Stalemate on Agahia: Interesting. I think it's costed correctly. Doesn't feel especially mythic. 9/10."I see. You've mentioned the Empire and the Technocracy. What planes do each of them cover?" Imperial CrueltyConspiracy , Sacrifice a creature: You gain 3 life.
