Girl in a hat... that sounded familiar. "A girl in a red hat? Why? She seemed alright when I was talking to one - if we're talking about the same one. And I usually do bodyguard work, if anything." he said. "I'll just ignore the part about 'not your real body' because honestly I'm not in the mood to even try and understand what the hell that means."
Galahad, Honorbound Paladin Legendary Creature - Human Soldier Each player can only attack with one creature each combat. Attacking creatures get +1/+1. "Face me, and me alone. No armies, no backup. Just me and you." 4/4
Payday Automaton: I like this more than Goblin Guide. It doesn't reveal information to you, and it guarantees a mana instead of maybe a land on landing the attack. Thought I still don't know about a 2/2 in any deck. 9/10 for that concern.
"You may think her innocent, but she is not to be trusted. I have senses you can't conceive of, and I see a world of trouble inside that stitched monstrosity. Did you hear the explosion which went off in the arena? That was me trying to kill her after she tried to kill me. She is dangerous."
He paused, remembering the other part of the question.
"Oh, and don't worry about the mutliple bodies thing. Since I'm a robot, all my thoughts are etched on pieces of metal. The other body just has a copy of them."
Progressive Amplifier Artifact , Tap X untapped creatures you control: Give target creature you control +X/+X until end of turn. All for one, and one for victory.
Galahad, Honourbound Paladin - 10/10. Not much to say. Just a really fun, really cool uncommon.
Magic Mirror should not be a common, since it's a permanent so it generates board complexity making your opponent wonder when you're going to cash it in. At the same time, colored cards with this effect either have a double color saturation or a CMC higher than 3, so I would bump up rarity, CMC and add a cost to activate it. As it is it's both too cheap for its effect and too complex for its rarity. 4/10.
"Excellent, then. I'm about to finish what I started a while ago, there's this woman named Kirino, and she is highly unstable. She deserves to die and I'm counting on you to help me achieve that!"
Passionate Mobilization Sorcery Create an X/1 red Elemental creature token with trample and haste, where X is the highest power among creatures you control. Exile that token at end of combat. Some people have the flames of war inside them, others choose to manifest it on the outside.
"...It's just a hat." he looked at the robot, bewildered that it could conceive of something so bizarre, at least every other weird thing he'd encountered so far made sense to a degree. Walking metal? Okay. Foxes talking? Alright. Golem creatures? Sure. But a hat? And the girl in said hat was also the nicest person he'd met on this plane - she didn't call him "organic" in a rude tone, or attempt to punch his lights out, or confuse him with memories of his past. He nodded his head. "Fine. I'll go join this war." he said, turning to leave.
"But I do my best job defending."
Translation: he picked the hat's side lmao
Progressive Amplifier: Me likey. Excellent response. 10/10.
From a fair distance away, Aylin stomps the ground, raising a boulder twice her size, then punches it in the robot's direction. "Heads up!" she screams a few seconds before the rock's imminent collision with its target.
Violent Assault Instant ~ deals 3 damage to target creature. If you cast this spell during your main phase, ~ deals 5 damage to that creature instead. If you see it coming, then it's twice as bad.
Wall of Slag is a solid design. I do have a pet peeve about cards that don't prevent the challenge but rather take advantage of it but the fact it's a 0/2, hence making the 3-5 damage completely useless has swayed me a little into raising the score, and I like this as a neat one-drop for limited. 8/10.
"If you want to face Kirino, you need to be prepared to deal with the unexpected. You're actually lucky I warned you, she will not! Now I need to see your lethal capabilities..." she says without a hint of emotion on her face as she stand perfectly still "Now then, shoot to kill!"
Sitting Duck Sorcery Choose target creature. Each other creature on the battlefield deals damage equal to its power to that creature. "Go on... I'm completely unarmed!" -Telam, last words
"...? Who in the empty void are you? And how are you accessing these systems? I assure you, they are well protected. And what manner of 'arena' do you speak of? Conflict is always fun."
Momentum Redirector Artifact When ~ enters the battlefield, you get . Pay , : Tap target creature you control. It deals damage equal to it's power to any target.
Vigorspark - 4/10. Feels really really weak, as cards for just 3 CMC gives artifact creatures a permanent +2/+2. Switch to any creature and it would be a balanced card.
Ugh, this is what I get for posting responses at 4 in the morning. A shameful display.
"Me? I'm the electricity coursing through your circuits - more of that 'magic' garbage, I'm afraid. But I'm the good kind - you can call me Leviathan. You've probably noticed that you've been running at higher efficiency after that initial burn, right?
As for the Arena... well, you've probably noticed all of these organics running around trying to kill each-other, right? It's that. Murder attempts are all but encouraged here."
Backdoor Optimization - Enchantment - Aura Curse Enchant opponent. Whenever enchanted player casts an artifact spell, they may add and draw a card. , sacrifice Backdoor Optimization: Gain control of target artifact enchanted player controls.
(For war purposes, would you kindly pretend that that last line isn't there? )
Momentum Redirector looks like fun. I can't see any issues with it. 9/10
I will be battle-boarding soon. I think. But, like, in a new way.
But seriously, though, consider giving Battle Boards a try.
As the others threw their spells and struggled, a lone engineer from The Last Horizon slunk past to begin tinkering with Base Zero's contraptions. Taking wrench and screwdriver and other such tools to try and glean some understanding of the tech at work.
Appropriating Artificer Creature - Human Artificer When Appropriating Artificer enters the battlefield, gain control of target artifact for as long as you control Appropriating Artificer. 2/2
Post by Fleur de Violet on Feb 20, 2019 0:59:19 GMT
"Base Zero!", a familiar voice called. "You're under arrest on two counts of destruction of property, one count of attempting to harm a child and three counts of assault. Stand down, and you will be granted a fair trial in the court of law based on facts and logic. I would rather do this the easy way than the hard way."
Sky Sentinel Creature - Human Artificer Flying, vigilance Whenever a creature you control becomes the target of a spell or ability you don't control, create a 1/1 colorless Thopter artifact creature token with flying. 2/2
A strange light shines on Base Zero, illuminating him. "Officer Lumen," another voice calls out, strained, "We're in position!"
Calling for aid from Suncleanser, choosing second mode.
You come across a familiar organic with an infuriatingly familiar hat. But there's something different about the hat now. Something... normal.
The organic wraps its arms around you and whispers.
"Thank you, Rowboat."
Seal of Liberation Enchantment Sacrifice Seal of Liberation: Gain control of all permanents you own. , Discard two cards, Sacrifice Seal of Liberation: Draw two cards. , Sacrifice Seal of Liberation: Return target artifact card from your graveyard to your hand.
notdaedalus I'll probably be reincarnated by the time you see this, but all the same
