I've met more than one being with 'Zero' in its name, so I hadn't mentioned it until you mentioned Spark Labs." The prepared statement ends, and the usual halting resumes. "Brayden had some insight in...to your situation, I must admit. You must be utterly terrified right... now, so remember that no one is stopping you from leaving... to search by yourself. I'm certain that with both... you and the labs searching for one another, you'll be reunited eventually. You can get started straight away." Lettie chokes out a cruel laugh. "It certainly won't be lonely. You've got those voices only you hear... to keep you company. It sounds like they're making a... a real ruckus in those cogs of yours." She sneers, and laughs some more. During most of this, Brayden is just kinda standing there, unsure of what to make of the situation, before snapping into reality after Lettie mentions Brayden by name. He then moves over to Hannah, "Hannah? What did you do, something is very wrong with Zero!" he says while looking back and forth between Hannah and Zero with a very worried look. Nulien? Is that where she's from? I don't... remember seeing that anywhere in there. Kinda like she didn't remember that's what that place was called? Things might be worse than they look...

It's gonna make many a player sad that they kept committing. 10/10 Get in Position Instant Creatures you control gain first strike and lifelink until end of turn. test Edit: Does Hoofbeating mean something special? I can't find it and otherwise this shouldn't be human. Also, I thought Highland Game was pretty alright as a Piker. 7/10 Quietly Observe Instant Whenever a creature dies this turn, scry 1. Prime file? That sounds important... She gave it back? Was it missing? No, it had to be in Zero, yet they couldn't access it. Was it tampered with? Could it be related to the voices? Zero begins to move and feels the weakened ground beneath her. Wormwood had warned her of this! Someone had attacked her while prone, and now she had no clue who. Her rifts gleam as she pulls her sword to her hand. Behind it, ten small drones spill out of the rifts with it, immediately shouting their message in a distorted, robotic voice. "Nulien Emergency Transmission: Prototype zero is missing." The drones that landed correctly scatter. "Release Prototype zero or else. Training exercise C-31."

// Zero's eyes snap to an overturned drone and she jumps to hit it. If she is unable to, it will explode. This one EPIC can hear. Had to pay extra for these. //Zero tries to push off the ground, and the ground is unable to push her into her jump; instead, the earth caves into a sinkhole, pulling in Zero and a handful of drones along with her. A mass of worms writhes through the dirt at the bottom, and though they can not harm the constructs directly, they attempt to engulf anything that falls in.It takes Lettie a moment to register that Zero was attempting to attack a drone, but she decides not to direct the worms to spare her, for fear of revealing her influence and drawing Zero's aggression. Instead, she returns to her crouching position, hooks her fingers into the soil, and channels an excessive amount of mana into a harvest spell. A section of the top layer, held together by the roots of the grass, detaches from the ground, and Lettie pulls the earthen 'rug' out from under as many drones as possible to throw them into the pit and into Zero's reach, before pulling it around her back as a thick protective mantle, and diving in front of Hannah to shield her, careful not to obstruct Karina from any targets. As she braces, she has a moment to think at last. Nulien is where the Spark Labs are located, and that voice had agreed to do some kind of work in Nulien. If that's where Zero is from, and now she carries that voice with her then... I don't know what, but something horrible must have happened in Nulien. And something horrible happened to her creator too, who she didn't recognize. Then she realizes what has just happened, and she struggles to speak through gritted teeth and shaking breaths. "Hannah, you work- changed the workings of the machine, and it started a-acting dangerously. It wasn't the first time. That... voice you spoke to, Zero couldn't horri- recognize them, and something ho-horrible happened to them. Someone else changed yo- them, as you did. It happ- already happened."//Lettie is facing Hannah, and between her and the pit. The same magic that allowed the mantle to stay as one piece while being pulled from the surrounding sod mat has greatly increased its tensile strength.Earthen Mantle Instant Choose one — • Target creature gains hexproof until end of turn. • Target creature gains indestructible until end of turn. Assisting defense. Stand Back — Seems to be a riff off of Dive Down. Acceptable, but probably better at common. 8/10

Diffuse - mild upside on Echoing Ruin so fine if unexciting 8/10 Zero stumbles as the earth below her gives way. The drone falls with her for a moment before exploding. One piece of shrapnel tears the synthetic skin on Zero's arm. A larger piece hits the flat of her sword, and a section of the blue sword goes black. The worms move to cover Zero and she slashes for them instead.
[Primary directive: Eliminate creature of Elsewhere. Secondary directive: Minimize civilian casualties. Accessing high-mobility protocols. ERROR - Wing systems not detected. Arming request sent.]
Three drones fall into the writhing mass of worms and vanish. An aethersteel projectile connects with one and it stops moving. Another fills with ice and twitches uselessly. A spearhead pierces another, causing a smaller explosion rebuffed by Lettie's mantle. A ball of energy disintegrates another. One rushes the remainder of EPIC, exploding as it gets close. The last appears to be running away...
But in the pit, Zero mindless slashes away at the mass of worms, apparently forgetting the drones above her. [Electrocution matrix damaged, shocking attacks unavailable.] She says nothing, slash the mass, blitz out of range , slash, blitz, slash, blitz, slash, slash, slash.
Brayden runs to the side of the pit. "Zero, grab my arm, I'll pull you up from the hole!" he says reaching his right arm out to grab her hand.
[Accessing elsewhere.mod] "Stay back, citizen!" she says in a recorded woman's voice. "Creatures of Elsewhere have invaded the area! I will defend you!"
[Arming request confirmed. Beginning installation.] Two rifts open beside Zero and two blue mechanical wings are pulled through. Sockets open on her back as they connect. [Electrocution matrix re-established. Power remaining: One hundred and thirty-five point eight nine zero percent.] The wings flap, and Zero rises out of the pit and above Brayden's head. The observant might notice Zero's wings barely move, but two small trails of exhaust come from the bottoms of her boots. [Accessing from_above.mod.] "Salvation arrives from above!"
Lightning flies wildly from her wings, striking at the worms, the earth, an extended arm...
Experiment[0] has unlocked artifacts.
Thunderclap Pinions Artifact Whenever a creature with flying you control attacks, for each player, choose a creature without flying that player controls at random. Thunderclap Pinions deals 1 damage to each of those creatures.

Zero looks upon the fallen creature of Elsewhere. She wasn't sure if it was dead, but it did seem to have stopped being a threat. She turns to her citizens. ----- The glint of the scope was all it took. Zero's focus turned and she aims, but it's too late. A foreign, shattering feeling wracks her whole body. Her eyes stay locked on the scope. She fires. ----- There was a huge crack as the sniper's shot hit the blue glass of Zero's wing. She dipped in the sky, then set herself down outside the pit. [Sniper position located. Electrocution matrix damaged. Power remaining, eighty-seven point nine zero two one percent. Sniper Citizen-Class removed. Sniper Elsewhere Override status removed. In a flash, Zero sprints between the gap between Brayden helping Seiva and Lettie with the girls, charging for Kaira's position on the house. As she nears it, her wings and jets fire again.
// If Kaira is prone, Zero will slash at her back as she gets in range. If she is standing or crouched and unable to dodge, a very heavy robot will hit her at a high speed.

Electromagnetic Anomaly - certainly an odd one but probably fitting on say Mirrodin. Would have these be mays tho so they don't trash your own gear? 9/10 Karina tenses up at the lightning storm. Mister Fulmen had been showing her how to control her lightning better, but she still didn't trust it. She quickly lowered her spear...and watched Seiva collapse to the ground. She froze.
Hannah's crying broke through to her. She dropped the spear and moved to Hannah. "This... This isn't... this isn't real. We're in augmentation, right? This is just a simulation. It's just..."
Don't break. She needs you this time. "No... we... we need to get out of here. It's not safe."
Hannah takes a deep breath and yells, "Miss Seiva! Get up!""This is my fault," she whimpers. "I didn't know... Miss Seiva's dead... and it's my fault...""No, no, don't say that," Karina tries to pull Hannah close. "Everything went wrong at once, and..." her voice caught. She... she wasn't dead, was she? She looked back to Seiva. The old guy that was with the robot had picked her up. What was he... "Karina, you know what to do, right?" he yells at her. "No!" she shouts instinctively. "Yes!" Was he still here? "There's a healer!" she points and Brayden runs off."I have to do something. I have to... I...""He's taking her to the healer. She'll be okay. What we need to do is get somewhere safe." Oh Hybriea, the robot was moving again. Towards the tunnel?! "To... to the bakery. It's close. We'll be safe." She pulls the spear to her hand and tries to help Hannah to her feet.

No, it's okay. Miss Seiva's just gonna get up again. Dad does that all the time, in duels and stuff. The other person always gets up. Karina's okay. Breathe. Miss Seiva's not getting up. She doesn't need to pretend to be dead or anything, she can just get up. Why isn't she? Why isn't she standing up?// Hannah's chest tenses. Previously, she was trying to hold her tears. She can't do that anymore.Miss Seiva, get up. Please. Stand up. "This..." She can't be. "This isn't... this isn't real." Why... "We're in augmentation, right?"// Hannah's speaking only just quietly enough for Karina to hear, and not for anyone else. Lettie might hear that she's saying words, but unless her hearing is exceptional, she wouldn't be able to make them out.// Hannah takes a deep breath and calls as loud as she can manage in her current state. "Miss Seiva! Get up!"// Hannah starts twisting around, looking for any sign that this isn't real, any sign that Miss Seiva's okay, any sign that there's anything she can do."I have to do something." But there's nothing to do. "I have to..." I fall to the floor. This is my fault. It's because I didn't know what I was doing and did it anyways. Why am I so stupid? "I..."// Hannah can no longer speak through her tears. "Wha-?" he says reflexively as he watches Zero soar into the sky, and as the lightning bolts rain down, he quickly forms an energy barrier between him and Zero, and holds it until the lightning is over. Pulse? he thinks before putting two fingers of his left arm to her neck, Seems to be steady. Breathing? and then put the side of his head to her head to listen to her breathing. Ragged, but seems to be holding. He then put an arm under her legs and one under her back, and lifts her, and then looks back to Hannah with a face of concern, "Karina, you know what to do, right?" he say while gesturing his head towards Hannah, before running towards the outpost. When he gets to the outpost, he shouts, "Who's the resident doctor around here? Her breathing is little ragged but her pulse seems to be steady."// Kaira lines up another shot, this time firing it through the electrical wings. If they continue being electric, the magnetic field they generate might be enough to slow the bullet such that it doesn't break the wings, but it may be traveling fast enough that the field isn't enough.
Zero looks upon the fallen creature of Elsewhere. She wasn't sure if it was dead, but it did seem to have stopped being a threat. A single thought pokes its thought into Zero's head. In her mind it sounds... smug."See you in hell, traitor. The rest of the stone structure collapses under the force. The creature had stopped putting up a fight. A curious response. Perhaps it could only do it once.
She wrenches her sword from the wretch. What strange last words. She was very much the traitor, and the woman named Seiva seemed to still be alive, even if injured, likely by the creature of Elsewhere. She steps away from Kaira, and the world turns to flames again.
--- "You can't kill me," Zero laughs at a group of knights, "the Starless Eon has chosen me! We are eternal!" A gauntlet slaps her across the face.
"Reza, snap out of it, man!" The knight turns to an older knight. "What in the world did they do to him?"
"They got to em," they sigh. "Might never see the real Reza again."
"This is me!" Zero shouts. "Now let me go, you heretics!"
Reza has unlocked escape.
--- When her sight returns, Zero is staring at the floor. An unknown white glow surrounds her, protecting most of her from Kaira's parting gift. Her wings had disappeared, reduced to cinders on the floor around her. Most of her skin had burned off with it, making her a terrifying sight for those she would protect. She would need to rectify it before going anywhere near another fight. She tries to move and finally realizes how closed in she is. The building had collapsed around her. She closes her eyes. She'd be forced to planeswalk out then. Six sets of memories swirl around in her head. The plane that had produced her skin... there it was. She could go there, prepare herself to fight the creatures of Elsewhere once more, then return. She begins to planeswalk.
//Zero remains there for a minute before she successfully planeswalks away. Breath for Breath - 10/10had a card but zero can't really do anything so attacking feels incorrect
