cajun "Uh... Yeah, let me contact her."// Leira pokes her transceiver to contact Seiva.// Seiva arrives about 20 minutes later, chewing on a green vegetable stick of some kind."Hi." This woman looks a lot like Arina. Was she familiar otherwise too? She doesn't seem like she should be that familiar, but maybe I've talked to her before? "Have we met before? I was told you had something about saving a world you wanted to discuss.// Seiva looks at Leira and taps a few words into her transceiver. Leira checks her own transceiver, then takes her book and goes somewhere else. "Perhaps you noticed me during the nightmare debacle some time ago? That was the last time I as in the area." She smiles slightly. "And yes, I have another world to try to save."
"Elbryn is a rather small plane, primarily just a large single island, surrounded by water for seemingly ever. And in a few short years, not even that island will remain. But it sounds as if you have a way to give these people a second chance."
"We've no shortage of resources, any materiel and personnel will be more than compensated, and we'll offer up as much of our own as is useful."
"After some deliberation, I believe sending them to Laptew would be the best course of action. We've had some experience with this in the past, and should handle the influx better than most. At worst, we have a permanent connection to Tirvana..." her voice begins to drift into a mutter as she once again considers logistics.
// Seiva may remember Tirvana as the room-sized map shown to her by SevidPieces In My MachineOngoing SchemeWhen you set this scheme in motion, gain control of any number of different nonland permanents with different converted mana costs until you abandon this scheme. At the beginning of each opponent's end step, if that player controls more nonland permanents than you, abandon this scheme. The Elbryn Evacuation - slick. want to try that with counter manipulation. 10/10

"Up to 'is dying soon'. ... which other Volarians aren't supposed to know, so I would appreciate it if you didn't tell them. I'll contact Master Sara and see how many people we can commit to a planar rescue mission. But I need some kind of interplanar coordinate to direct a tunnel to, both on Laptew and on Elbryn."The first instance of "different" doesn't need to be there; you can't get one permanent with two CMCs. I like this type of thing a lot, especially like Seasons Past. 9/10 Eternity Beacon Sorcery Gain control of target nonland permanent until end of turn. Untap it. It gains haste until end of turn. If you own that permanent, draw two cards.

"This one's about as small as it gets. It'll be about four meters taller, surrounded by aetherglass and then we can start making energy, and it's still smaller than the one we've got in Entela. If we need smaller stuff... you know, like a project beyond the aether, we use the oscillator over there." I motion over to our oscillator, which is brightly glowing the gold of its energy. "We're using it until I get this one done. It's simple enough a kid could do it with only vague instructions and an understanding of core engineering. Which one did, this time."Reescalate seems really cheap for an X=3 Sphinx's Revelation, especially since instant drawing 3 usually costs 5 (Jace's Ingenuity). I like the use of the random aether I had left over, though. 7/10 Reduction Instant Players can't gain life this turn. Whenever a player draws a card this turn, Reduction deals 1 damage to that player. I take some notes. "I would like to meowke one, but I have no understanding of core engineering..." I make a quick drawing of the thing. "It's been a very interesting afternoon, Meowster Stova, but I should be going to get something to eat now! Thank you for your time."Of course I wanted this interaction to finish here, it's not like I forgot what I wanted to do next at all.Reduction: I'm a fan of lifegain, but I loce lifegain hosers. The sky has filled up with a rather unreasonable number of vampire sirens armed to the fangs. EPIC's stone shack is not out of their sight, even if most of them are focusing their attention on other opponents. Seven of them head towards the shack with easily recognisable hostile intent, meaning bared fangs, drawn weapons, and full blown combat charge.

Srethi hovers above the ground with several knives circling her. One of those knives looks especially familiar, probably especially to some somewhat irresponsible guy named Estova who was sparring with it a couple days ago. Another one of those knives also happens to be the same knife that was used to stab Karina Oblay. Most of these knives are made out of stone, though - stone that is definitely not from the EPIC headquarters. For a moment, the knives stop moving as she flips her hair backwards - the wind does mess it up sometimes, after all. And then the knives continue to spin and whir. "I vaguely remember this place - coming to spar and fight. Let's repeat that again, shall we?" WindyDelcarlo Without warning, a loud, screeching bird's cry echoes across the outpost, followed by pain and discomfort among the EPIC staff. WindyDelcarlo The ice shards fly true to their raucous target, who didn't even maneuver to avoid the dangerous projectiles. It even seemed to embrace the incoming daggers of ice, wings spread as... They shattered harmlessly against the bird's feathers, the bird in question letting out another raucous cry as it flew across the settlement. From above, another bird had appeared, their staff pointed at the first aggressor as the two flew above, streaking towards the perimeter. It seems they had done all they needed to. {Response Card - Darksky Coven} Disabling Volley: Lightning Strike and Stifle in one? I mean, it works, but I'm not sure I approve of being able to stop and ability and answer the card causing it at the same time. 7/10

I mean, putting all the phylosostuff aside, Seiva, I'm not really just, like, here and that's it, get it? I'm here and in a few other places at once, like, with my body and all, and I don't really know why I am there, or here, because it's not like I'm everywhere at once, get it? But I'm usually in places where something important might happen, but might also not happen, and that's just how teal magic goes, kind of, at least when I'm concerned, though not for, like, everyone. But yeah, if we want to cut out the whole part about alternate universe magic too then, in short, Seiva, I'm here because I zoned out to those sweet sweet cylinders. They look cool, yo."
Aetheric Oscillator: This is kind of bizarre and complex, I don't really know how to evaluate it. I guess the closest thing is Dynavolt Tower and that seems usually stronger but wants more mana off you and is rarer so taking that into consideration this should work. 8.5/10

Aetheric Replication: This is pretty neat. Since it needs a big spell to have already been cast, it's probably fine. I'm curious, though, why doesn't this just say "Copy target instant or sorcery spell. If its converted mana cost is 4 or greater, copy it twice instead. You may choose new targets for the copies"? The panels I recognized as core architecture are in place. The Litaran-style quartz walls gave an interesting contrast to the dark wooden floors, and I couldn't wait to see what it looked like when the core was illuminating it with its rippling light. Estova shrugs at me as he taps a tuner against one of his circuits. "It's not really my field of expertise. Think it's supposed to be on you to talk with Leritha further about it. Any signs of Sanaerti from Leira?"
I shake my head solemnly. "She's still trying. That was basically her entire work here. Say, you're still working on this, right? It's safe for me to step away?"
"Not sure safe is the word for it, but yes. It's hard to call anywhere on this plane safe without full aether access." Naturally. Always carry an aether canister for exactly that reason.

You've done that a few times now.""Pardon me, Ze- I mean, Seiva, students at Tolaria West had always called their Professor: 'Professor' Or their last time, its just a sign of politeness and I guess my habit of calling people by their last name is still there after no longer being a student and has continued even as a professor. Actually, now that I think about it I'm yet to properly introduce myself," he says while reaching out his hand in a friendly manner, "My name is Henry Brayden" "Our etiquette on Volaria is by first name unless your family's name is really important. Which, mine's not. To be polite as a child, you say Miss or Mister, so I'd be Miss Seiva." I stop to think for a moment. "You still do that as an adult except for, like, project heads, first advisors, and masters. Like, we say Master Sara, Head Engineer Ativa, things like that." Are there more things I should be describing? "So it's nice to meet you, Mister Henry. Or, would you prefer Mister or Professor Brayden?"This needs to be worded as a replacement effect (if X would Z, instead Y). I'm also concerned that this is super easy to break symmetry on. 7/10 Proper Etiquette Enchantment - Development Whenever a player develops Proper Etiquette, each player who's developed it taps an untapped creature of their choice. They don't untap during their controllers' untap steps for as long as you control Proper Etiquette. Then if there are 4 or more development counters on Proper Etiquette, sacrifice it. Develop 4 - (: Note your name and put a development counter on this. Any player may develop this as a sorcery if there are less than 4 counters on this.)(I will tap your polite wizard for the next millennium with etiquette classes.)
