Not sure how I feel about this stealing lands. It probably definitely should say nonland, and being a permanent steal, should probably also be rare? This seems very powerful, far more than it should be. It's not exactly hard to get artifacts into play, for example. 5.5/10 Data Conversion Loop Artifact When Data Conversion Loop is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you draw a card. , Sacrifice Data Conversion Loop: Each player may scry 2. Under Arena Station, Severin rests his hand under a bank of levers, watching a display count down seconds to zero. He raises his hand, turning the Station's reactor to maximum power. Beam injectors pulse; magnetic fields tighten. Electricity surges along wires as lasers flick across the sky, pointing out each rift. HELLNOPEs activate, beams of nullification interdicting each rift. The grid of stabilizers across the Arena shakes, the strain of stabilizing an entire plane pushing the aethertech to its very limits, then fails. I throw a shard of ice into one of them meaninglessly. This is a far too familiar feeling. Overwhelming forces, where killing one or even one hundred would make no difference. "And I cannot stay here for much longer."
"Uh... Uh... Okay, so... Fallback plan." I let Seiva instruct me for now. I cannot fight this many creatures alone. Her voice is panicked, but still strong. "You have the sphere, right? That should keep them away from you for a little bit. If we can't figure something out, you'll need to leave."
"What of the outpost and its technology?""Don't you dare get yourself killed protecting that stuff." I have not heard such stern speech from Seiva before. "There is one thing I can think of. Like myself, Hannah is descended from the First Masters of Shaidosta, Litara, and Entela, who were given their gifts by the Elemental Spirits. One or all of those may be what makes her special. Unlike myself, she has never taken a life, and I hope for that to continue to be the case." I think this cat is too reliant on discard to be especially playable. Even at 2 mana it's kinda just sad. I could definitely imagine it costing 3 colorless for what it does, though. 6.5/10
Spirits' Guidance
Sorcery As an additional cost to cast Spirits' Guidance, discard your hand. Search your library for X cards, put them into your hand, then shuffle your library, where X is the number of cards discarded to cast Spirits' Guidance. The touch of the Spirits is a power few hold, but it is a power that makes many of Volaria's governments work.(I know it's hard to believe, but I actually had the card and went "Wait, that's just madness, wait, I can't use madness, okay cool this card is fine" XD) (Also I similarly have no idea about wine.) (Also, I'm gonna happily discard at least two cards to make this cat cost a single white mana. Can't really interact nonlethally beyond that XD) "Elemental spirits might do it - I'm more-or-less bound to one myself. With that out of the way... are there really no cats on your home plane? She was entirely unfamiliar with them when I first met her."I sipped at my wine again - for a brief moment, I tasted charcoal. And then it was gone.Aspen-Bound Haltija - Creature - Dryad Spirit Menace Whenever a player would search their library for a card, that player searches for a land card instead. 2/2 Have fun with your hand full of lands . Spirits' Guidance had me going "well, this is garbage" at first... and then my brain went "wait, no, that doesn't say 'draw'...". That's a powerful card right there... on the other hand, it should be fine, considering what other tutor shenanigans black gets for similar costs. 9/10

The angel boy floats slightly above the ground, staring at the sky. He overhears what sounds like monsters attacking a nearby house, and rushes to the scene. He points at the nightmares. "Hey!" They look back at him, and once they begin to charge at him, the ground around him gives way to multiple portals, which the nightmares fall into.

WindyDelcarlo — Repulsion Field: Yep, this sure is a colorless boardwipe—and the right amount of inefficient to be one, too. 9/10cajun — Inspector's Arrival: I keep waffling back and forth between this being unplayable and too pushed, so I assume the balance is right. Neat flavor, too. 5/5A thrumming sound from above alerts Arina to another new arrival. A Linelan-style skycraft swoops down over Arina's house, a pair of angels following it in a V formation. A cluster of rockets spin out from the front of the thopter, landing amongst the onrushing horde, explosions scattering the nightmares. The door on one side of the thopter slides open, revealing Resplendent Heart-Piercer standing at its edge. Blazing arrows of light skewer the nightmares too close to Arina, Aevia, and Rian to safely explode. The angels dive, landing next to the three defenders, and raise their swords defensively. "Seventh Circle Operations; we're here to help and terribly sorry about the nightmares. Don't lose hope; we just need to hold the beasts off until R&D can get their gadgets fixed and seal them away."(Take this as a gift.)

"Is this what you and Liva were up to? Would've been nice if you called in before it backfired!""No, this is new." Another of my shards of ice picks off another of the nightmares and I pull Mindmelder to my through my window. There are too many. I am vaguely aware of an angel person that starts sending the nightmares away. I need to keep them down...The drone of a Linelan skycraft soars overhead, followed in formation by a fleet of angels. Explosions spread across the field, breaking the ranks of the nightmares. The angels landing by us. What is happening? "Seventh Circle Operations; we're here to help and terribly sorry about the nightmares. Don't lose hope; we just need to hold the beasts off until R&D can get their gadgets fixed and seal them away.""Hold on!" I thought Seiva disconnected. I suppose not. Not if she wanted to be updated on the status of the outpost and the stabilizers. I tap up the volume of Seiva's voice. "By 'their gadgets' do you mean our stabilizers that collapsed? Do you need an aether technician? I can probably fix that faster than you guys can!""Seiva, you know this place is exceptionally dangerous for Volarians.""It's exceptionally dangerous for everyone else too! That's the whole thing, so as Project Eternity's head, I'm going to help out in any way I can."
I sigh as Seiva waits for her response and I ready another volley of ice.I was very concerned until I learned to read the card. First ability says "or more". I'm massively more okay with this now, 9/10. Seiva's Prowess Sorcery Each player returns all artifact cards from their graveyard to the battlefield. WindyDelcarlo — Seiva's Prowess: This is a beautifully splashy card that probably ought to be a mythic, but I can forgive at rare. I note that DivOps can't Ultima it themselves, so I guess I better bring someone who can... 10/10"All right, you've got more expertise with aether than any of our agents. The new interdiction tech we got is as precise as we hoped it'd be, so as long as you stay clear of the rifts and the lasers you should be able to avoid getting drained of aether. We'll stay here to defend the portal, and another team will clear a path for you through the nightmares."
When Seiva arrives, she's met by half a dozen trainees, including the familiar face of Aiea. "Project Head Zeni, good to see you again. Should we take you to the Station first to see the controls, or directly to the nearest stabilizer?"
The trainees form a wedge around Seiva, clearing a path through the nightmares. Kunal leaps across the battlefield, staff striking down monster after monster. Teagan's spear flicks out, too fast to be seen, nightmares falling with great holes in their sides. Frode sticks close to Seiva, slamming away any nightmares that come too close. Lyfaen and Kauriga stand on the flanks, tossing explosives and temporal distortions ahead of the group, and Aiea hovers above them, pointing out the thinnest concentrations of nightmares.7CI Recruitment and Training Legendary Planeswalker — Division Whenever one or more other legendary permanents enters the battlefield, put a loyalty counter on each Division you control. : For each kind of counter on each other permanent you control, put another of that kind on it or remove one from it. : Gain control of target permanent until end of turn. If it's legendary, instead gain control of it. Untap it. It gains haste until end of turn. : Search your library for seven cards, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Then you may put a planeswalker card from your hand onto the battlefield.

It's way more likely something went wrong with the stabilizers than the controls.""IPCC Master Sara." I hear the connection click and don't wait for Master Sara to speak. "Yeah, I'll need you on standby, I'm definitely going to need some stuff soon but not sure what yet."// As the group travels, the trainees seem to have things handled, but Seiva has a set of four ice shards floating around her at all times in case she does need to use them.Very weird that the ult reveals, given it doesn't specify the type you have to look for. Was it supposed to only grab planeswalkers? Since otherwise it's probably also too cheap for something that can happen after two + activations. Also, ult definitely needs to shuffle. Otherwise seems good. 7.5/10 Troubleshoot Instant Note the number and kind of counters on target permanent, then exile it. At the beginning of the next end step, return it to the battlefield under its owner's control with the noted number and kind of counters on it. (I have no idea if this should exist or what to cost it at if it does. Blink the planeswalker, get 4 more counters on it, or blink something else and put counters on everything. However, troubleshooting takes time)

Lady Mapi (It's kinda awkward but I'll work with it) Extended Analysis Instant Tap target creature. It loses all abilities until end of turn. To protect one's self or one's home, first one must understand their foe in its entirety.
Sorry for the awkwardness . Also, I should have been reminding you that Ylki is giving you a poison counter for each of your noncreature spells (I misread it as Commanders only being a thing in your own thread, when they're actually an all-the-time thing). That would put you at four poison counters, I think? You don't have to track them semi-permanently like I'm doing if you don't want to. "Yeah, that doesn't surprise me - we have a tendency to get into awkward spots. What confuses me is why you let children stick around in such a dangerous place.""It's not like we can talk, Mishka." I turned back to Arina. "My home plane is a bit of a hellhole - almost all of the plants there hate you and want you to die. We'd never have anything like this wine without it being toxic or cursed or whatever." I finished the rest of my glass, and dipped a finger in the dregs.---Hanska draws some kind of sigil on the table in front of her in wine. It briefly smokes and then evaporates. She looks at you sheepishly."I'm sorry, an old habit."
Venom-Heart Witch - Creature - Hag Shaman Whenever an opponent plays a noncreature spell, you may remove a counter from target permanent or player. 2/2
(A gift - you can keep up your spell-slinging habits around Ylki without it murdering you.)
As opposed to my utter nonsense, Extended Analysis is a sweet little card that does some nice work. Hilariously, you can use it to pull some hilarious tricks by aiming at your own creatures. Almost purely for that, I'm going to give it a 9/10.

(Meanwhile in Entela)
“Don’t worry, it’ll be fine.” That’s what I say to Karina as I knock on the door to Dad’s laboratory. It takes him a while to get to the door. I wonder what he’s working on. Is he too busy? Maybe I should knock again. I’m about to lift my hand to try when the door opens, with dad behind it. Suddenly I see why he had problems. So many empty glass spheres rolling around on the ground. “Dad, you’re not supposed to keep your energy cells on the floor.”
“Yeah, I know, they just… end up there.”
“What’re ya working on?”
“Same portable condensation grid I was when we left. Did you know it’s extremely difficult to condense a condensation grid?” Dad walks back into the laboratory.
“Dad!” I call him back.
“Just come in here, okay?” Dad calls back to me.
I look around the floor and shrug to Karina with a chuckle. She smiles and laughs back. “Where?”
“Uh…” comes from somewhere within. I lightly tip-toe into the laboratory and avoid the empty cells. Then, I turn around and offer my hand to Karina to help her get through too. The walls have all kinds of shelves on them, with boxes that are supposed to hold these cells and aether tuners. I sure don’t see any of those. Who knows where they all went?
I feel Karina slip on one of the cells. No, I’m not letting you fall. I pull her towards me and catch her in my arms, letting her weight pin me to the wall. She looks up at me with defeat on her face and I smile at her. “You okay?”
“Yeah.” She smiles back. “And I thought the pens on your mom’s floor were bad.”
Dad comes back into view, carrying an aether tuner, but not really looking up at us. I guess he heard me hit the wall. “What’s this about Arina’s pens?” Dad’s eyes finally look away from his tuner and I smile at him too. “Oh, hi! Who’re you?”
“Dad, this is my girlfriend Karina!” I grin more as I keep her in my arms. “I was trying to say that and then you walked away.”
Karina rests her head against my chest and looks towards Dad. “Hi, Mister Fulmen,” she adds.
Dad snorts and stands, clearly trying not to laugh. “That sure didn't take you long. You were away from home, what, two weeks?”
“Something like that. Anyways, I love her a lot and I’m showing her around Entela while she’s here for a weekend.”
“And I see you’ve got a transceiver for her. Great! Hope that all works out.” Dad takes a step back, crushing one of the cells beneath his feet. Now there’s just a pile of shattered aether glass there. Karina’s really not allowed to fall now.
“Master Sara’s gonna get annoyed if you keep breaking those things,” I point out. “She had a long talk with Mom about breaking aether canisters.”
“Nah, these are the cheap ones. They’re supposed to break if you look at them hard enough. Anyways, about your mom’s pens.”
“Hm?” I ask. “Oh, she had them all over the floor in the house on the Arena before that house broke. I think they’re in the fridge now.”
Dad laughs and looks around at the floor. “Really? I guess she’s learning from me, huh?” There’s a moment of pause before a small chuckle. “Uh-oh.” Dad looks around the room, seemingly aimlessly. It takes a few seconds, but eventually he pulls a small aethersteel box off one of the shelves. It’s probably supposed to be some kind of device, because I can see the inductor pretty clearly. It’s also toast, though, so I don’t know what he’s trying to do with it.
“So,” Karina jumps in while no one else is talking, “What do you do?”
“Who, me?” Dad turns and shows the box to Karina. “I’m an aether technician most of the time. Lots of working with these boxes and going around to make sure random aether stuff on the other side of the world is still working. It’s getting a lot more important now.”
“Dad…” I put my hand to my head and can’t help but chuckle at him. He looks at me questioningly. “You say that… but you fried your inductor.”
“Really?” Dad flips the box around so the inductor’s facing him. “God— Ugh, okay, I’ll have to fix that.” Dad says that a lot. ‘God’. It’s really confusing. Apparently a God is like a Spirit but… not? “Anyways, I’m also a duelist on the side. I won the last Gathering tournament I dueled in.”
“I thought you said that was before I was born,” I point out.
“Well, yeah, but I could do it again.”
There’s a few more seconds of silence while it looks like everyone’s waiting on each other. I’m pretty happy to keep holding Karina and she seems pretty happy to stay there, so that’s alright with me.
“Wonderful. Well, if you’ve gotta get going you might want to do that, huh?”
I look at Karina and smile. “Yep, I’ve got so much more to show you still.” I help Karina stand on the ground.
Dad hugs me and waves to Karina. “I’ll see you later, alright?”
“See ya, dad!” I help lead Karina back into the hall so we can get going to Augmentation.
Karina looks at me once we’re back outside. "I always wondered why you were so different than your mom. Things make a lot more sense now."
“Hah, yep,” I reply with a laugh. “I sure look like mom, but dad and I have more in common, right? I told you he’d love you!”

// Arina types something into her transceiver as Hanska talks, as though a sudden moment of inspiration has come to her."Unfortunately, we are still 'alive' too. We must breath, eat, and sleep just as humans on every other plane do." I look up at Hanska. "My understanding is that the tunnel evacuates the aether between two planes, but that is a first-year level understanding and you would need to talk to Seiva to understand what actually happens.""Volaria is not the worst place to stay, as long as you avoid Shaidosta. It is very small, there are boundless resources, and many people who would be interested to show you their homes."The Hedge-Witch being a 1/1 makes it really tough to keep it through combat. Could definitely have a beefier body. 7/10 Chill Touch Instant Put two -1/-1 counters on target creature. When that creature dies this turn, scry 2. "That does sound lovely. Tell you what... I'm starting to get a little tired out from the fast pace of life here on the Arena - I might take a little trip to Volaria in the near future."I sat back and thought a little."I think you'd have to introduce me to this 'Seiva' person, though."Ivy Palisade - Creature - Plant Wall Flash, Soulbond (You may pair this creature with another unpaired creature when either enters the battlefield. They remain paired for as long as you control both of them.)
As long as Mantle of Thorns is paired with a creature, if a counter would be placed on either creature, you may put that counter on the other creature instead. 0/3 (Flashing in and pairing with the Hedge-Witch.) Chill Touch is a fun card. I like it quite a bit. 9/10

"Oh! Seiva will be here in my place with a team of researchers once Hannah returns home. I will be still here for approximately one week while they set themselves up, so any time during that period I will be happy to introduce you to each other, or you could talk to anyone else and ask for Project Head Seiva and they can help you locate her. She will be very interested to meet you, I am sure."I'm trying to think of how to break this and I don't think there's a way to? Seems fine, 8/10 Disable Instant Counter target activated or triggered ability. Its controller draws a card. Draw a card. (stifling the soulbond)

Now, I have to be off - no rest for the wicked and all that."---Hanska bids you farewell and leaves, Mikhael glances back over his shoulder as he follows."Shaidostan, eh?"Disable is a pretty decent Trickbind variant - unfortunately, it's also really broken. After all, the traditional use for Stifle is targeting your own stuff... which in this case would draw you two cards. For . I'm afraid I'm going to have to give you a 5/10.

I do not... recall telling Hanska or her cat that I was Shaidostan. That he knew that already leads me to question what else he knows. Not hoping to grab Hanska's attention, I decide to test how the cat's telepathy works. Is it multi-directional?
// Arina focuses "What else do you know?" to the front of her mind, as if she understands how telepathy works without having access to it herself.
(Obviously even if this does work, Mikhael isn't priced into responding) Wait, the traditional use of stifle is to target your own stuff? I thought you're supposed to point it as opposing fetches and strip mines. Huh. Also yeah, definitely not intended to be one-mana divination.

You get no response. Except...
For a brief moment, you're reminded of how many people you killed before you fled Shaidostan. Murder will out, as they say.
As for Stifle... it's mostly just that I've mostly heard of it in the context of Leveler or Phyrexian Juggernaut. So that's where my mind goes to first.

WindyDelcarlo — Troubleshoot: Yeah, I'm gonna go with "this shouldn't exist." I'm not sure this even works with permanents with multiple kinds of counters on them. 6/10 Seiva quickly identifies the stabilizer's failure; the Initiative, used to Kaladeshi aethertech, overestimated how much concentrated aether the stabilizers could withstand. Between that and running them well over their rated power, the aether inductors had burned out. With Entela's resources thrown behind her, she has no trouble acquiring spares, and Kauriga proves a deft assistant in replacing them and upgrading them. Aiea keeps Seiva in contact with a mildly panicked Severin in the control room, and the rest of the trainees fight off the nightmares to keep her transit between the stabilizers clear. After what seems like an eternity of swapping parts and killing nightmares, the grid is ready. Severin carefully turns each pump back on, flooding the stabilizers with aether and returning the plane to enforced stability. The nightmares cease flooding from the rifts as the HELLNOPEs whirl frenetically, sending pulses of nullification at demesne after demesne. As Arina, the angels, and the strike team see the flood of nightmares stop, their remaining enemies delightfully finite, the skycraft swoops down for another pass, twin jets of flame searing the nightmares in its path. Soon, the battlefield holds nothing but ashes and the low thrumming of the skycraft's rotors.Hayate, the Pilot Legendary Planeswalker — Hayate : Up to one target creature gets +2/+1 and gains indestructible until end of turn. Creatures with power 2 or less can't block it this turn. : Choose a permanent type. Each player sacrifices a permanent with the chosen type. : Hayate deals X damage to each creature. You may put a creature card with converted mana cost X or less from your hand or graveyard onto the battlefield. And calling for aid for Vampire Hexmage for use with the .

"... Alright, that should be the last of these. If we can get that grid going, that'd be great." As the hoards stop, I take a moment to look up at the sky, and watch the grid connecting across the darkness and stars. The golden net of energy is beautiful. The fact that it's saving this world? That's breathtaking.
"Looks like we got it," I decide, throwing one of the ice crystals through one of the nightmare beasts. "Contact, Arina Nisita."
"Stabilizer grid's up. Looks like everything's falling off."I look around as I pierce one of these creations with an ice shard. True to her word, the flow of nightmares had stopped, and we were only left with what remained. "Confirmed. I am glad you survived."
"What do I look like? Someone who'd let herself get killed out of nowhere?" There's laughter from her side of the transceiver.
// Arina regards the pilot and the angels."I appreciate your assistance. Are there still more elsewhere that need to be dispatched?"I like that Hayate can make creatures better at crewing vehicles. It's great. 9/10. Unfinished Work Sorcery Return target creature or planeswalker card with converted mana cost 3 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield. Flashback

WindyDelcarlo — Unfinished Work: A nice clean value card that, in combination with Hayate and Vampire Hexmage, can kill so many Demesnes. 9/10"Looks like you're not the only ones helping fight them off. Between our strike teams, one massive blast of divine power, and one—numberless gods, I have no idea what that is but it sure leveled a sizable region of the plane—anyway, I'd say we're clear. And if all goes well, in a couple hours the remaining rifts will be dissolved and we can shut down all the antimagic." Resplendent gives Arina a solemn nod of respect. "It was good fighting beside you. Perhaps we'll meet again someday." She leaps directly upward, catching the landing skid of the helicopter forty meters above, then swings on it into the cabin as it flies away, the angels following.

The angelboi does a Fortnite dance once the Demesnes are nuked away, and goes away. Go Unnoticed: 9/10, no problems here
