This might not be my final entry, but it made too much sense to pass up the opportunity. Also, in regards to phasing out your own creatures, if you were preparing a board wipe it could be helpful. Or maybe it would allow a creature with a cumulative upkeep to stick around a bit longer, albeit only affecting every other turn. Or if you had a card whose effect helps you in certain situations and harms you in others, you could phase it out to try to get back to a positive situation. Especially in black. In fact, black might even just want to throw it on a "who cares" creature as a way to manipulate their life a bit more.

Unburdened Mind Sorcery Draw a card. If you discarded two or more cards this turn, instead look at the top four cards of your library, put one of them into your hand, then put the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.

Oh, there is that one thing I missed judging. Judged on friday. now. {Jartis}A nice take on the maguses. (Is this the correct plural?) I could definitely see this in a commander precon if it fits the theme.
{eshix}That's an interesting conditional Impulse. Since it's so narrow, I think it could be an instant. That way it can be an answer to things like Mind Rot in addition to wroking with loot effects. {viriss}Getting a bird each turn for paying every other turn seems pretty strong. And in adiditon it also bounces your opponent's stuff. Even without suspending this is insanely powerful. It's more or less a repeatable Fleshbag Marauder for two mana. I think most of this would be fixed if the Summoner coudn't bounce itself. I still think it should be more expensive, (mana cost and suspend cost) since you could just play two of them to go around the restriction. {Evil Coco}THat card has a very oldschool wording. First off, it's called draw step and is part of the beginning phase. (I think that was changed with sixth edition rules? Anyway before I started playing Magic.) Second, if you look at the oracle text of Chronatog (or at Chronatog Totem/ Chronosavant), you'll see that skipping a step/phase/turn is not a cost. The idea is that you only can pay things you already have and somehting that lies in the future isn't something you have right now. Ok, templating aside, interesting card, still might have some tracking issues. Mainly in multiplayer formats. If you play this in a four player commander game you can activate this the turn it entered and each opponent's turn drawing you four cards and skipping your next four draw steps. Given it's only a 0/1 I guess it will usually not stick around for long, so I guess it's ok. I think you can easily count the skipped draws with a die on your library. {Boogymanjunior}Simple and effective. Not much else to say here. Good thing it only affects your first draw each turn.
I like the diversity in your entries. Each of them has it's own approach to the art.

Dreaded Agony Enchantment At the beginning of your end step, sacrifice Dreaded Agony and two lands you control and discard two cards. You lose 3 life. , Sacrifice a creature: Target player gains control of Dreaded Agony. Activate this ability only during your turn.

Judging's up gamma3 {Solidify}A straightforward transformation-flavored blue pseudo-removal. I like the added touch of the Statue type. viriss {Escape the Tower}I think the first ability might be too devastating against creature-light decks, but I like the idea that you'll get a good choice of creatures to reaminate. Flo00 {Dreaded Agony}Hot (zombie) potato. I think it's a good idea to limit the donating ability to your own turn. Jartis {Gift of Eternity}This feels like an interesting combo enabler. Probably the closest to my own interpretation of the picture. Boogymanjunior {Pallid Light}This felt a little hard to parse at first, but it's actually rather simple. Interesting use of the black-and-white picture. {Winner} viriss 's Escape the Tower

Wow. There is so much you can do with this image! There is the dude with the instrument. {not my entry} Goblin Lyrist Creature - Goblin , , Sacrifice Goblin Lyrist: Destroy target artifact. 1/1 There is the singing guy. {also not my entry} Back-Alley Bard Creature - Goblin Citizen , , Discard a card: Draw three cards, then discard a card at random. 2/1 There is the cat. {still not my entry} Blind Stray Creature - Cat Lifelink Blind Stray can’t attack or block alone. 2/1 And there is this: Filthy Hat Artifact : Whenever you discard a card, put a dirt counter on Filthy Hat. When Filthy Hat is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, you gain 2 life and draw a card for each dirt counter on it. It's dirt counters for flavour. In a real set, this might be charge counters. And yes, you also gain the 2 life for each counter, not just the card draw.

The flavour here is that this is a band of musicians and travellers who are excited to travel around eldraine and go on adventures. Whenever someone goes on an adventure, they may meet the band of musicians and join them, growing the band. Therefore, with this new experience, adventures are more successfull due to the band of adventureres being bigger. When the amount of people that are willing to go on adventures (the amount of creatures with adventure in your deck) is large, the band is more successfull.

SilentKobold Oh I wish Bard was a creature type! Common seems to low but Act of Treason is common as well so actually that seems to fit,and I love the random gain. Though on a 2/2 that might be heading toward the too good side. Solid entry. kefke Oh goodness! This and those dinosaurs that love to get poked! Such cooperation!! =) I like the balance of 1 point vs "your choice". Flo00 I spent a bit of time trying to find a picture with multiple focal points, so I'm glad you enjoyed that part. "Filthy Hat" really depends on the set it ends up in, doing nothing on its own. That said, it's balanced well with a great potential payoff. sade612 Lifelink zombies are rare but it's needed for the payoff. The growing threat is an interesting idea. The cost per coin might be too low for me. That's a lot of potential for an uncommon. But for three simple lines, it all came together nicely. somerandomperson A copy per +1/+1! Dang! And four of these out. Thankfully you can't use the second ability on each Band (and you're missing some text.) All together I like the singing about adventures, but the sacrificing the adventurers to tell more tales seems a little off to me. But they are zombies... Jartis Oh Dark Heart of the Wood with extra steps, and you keep your lands. I love it! Wait is that a common? gamma3 What. A. Bad. Singer. "You tell me the next line." "Wrong." Bzzt! Phew, this card also needs to be in the right set. Why does it need to hit me?! =) Sanfonier of the Night Interesting idea with Chorus (though there aren't any other Bards to help) but this might be too powerful at common, with haste. Four of these attacking and dealing 16 at the start of combat? Yikes. Winner kefke , to me this best captures the mostly awful singing talents in the picture.

Yeah, I ended up making it common because Food tokens are so incredibly easy to come across in Eldraine, and I figured that had more precedence since Dark Heart hasn't been printed in a decade and a half XD
