A big black cat with a broadsword in his back intercepts the birdman as he is roaming through the Arena. The cat licks his lips, looking at the bird. "Do I feel like eating chicken today?"Bird Hunter  Creature - Cat Warrior  Reach Whenever ~ deals combat damage to a creature with flying, put a +1/+1 counter on it. As long as ~ has three or more +1/+1 counters on it it has vigilance. 2/2

mrlozano Bird Hunter: Seems like a pretty much perfect designed early anti-flyer to me. Also gets better if you can put counters on it, 5/5 vigiliance reach with upside seems good. 10/10
"Ummm... W-Well Sir... I can assure you that i am not a chicken in both definitions of the word, and that there is not a lot of meat on these bones anyway. And, yes, I do know that you were most likely using 'chicken' in a figurative sense. And also, yes, I am still talking..." He ponders for a moment. "Ah! Yes. I believe you might find THIS interesting!" Zicirr says as he grabs a bucket of water and splashes it on the cat warrior. (Probably not the best decision.) Immediately after which, Zicirr swoops to a nearby rooftop awaiting the cat's inevitable counter-play. Bucket of Water   Artifact  ~ does not untap during your untap step unless you pay .  : Tap target creature. If a Cat or artifact creature was tapped this way, it does not untap during its controller's next untap step.

If that player controls more nonland permanents than you, that player discards two cards instead. Bucket of Water: I don't really like the pay U or doesn't untap. I think it might be better with U, T in the ability. The cat/artifact creature part is flavorful though. 7/10 |
