Ash//Dust is a pretty neat split card. 9/10 033V33 just watches Lettie for a moment before slowly losing focus, and growing more tired...To Lettie's perspective, one moment the store was still, the next a seemingly human warrior slammed into the ground before jolting to their feat, their completely black eyes sizing up Lettie.Spark-Charged Infantry Creature - Human Soldier Vigilance : Spark-Charged Infantry gets +1/+0 and gains haste until end of turn. 1/1 Lettie is in the middle of transferring parchment between books when 033V33 slams onto the floor next to her; Lettie jumps, knocking over the stack of books, and scattering across the counter and floor a variety of handwritten letters written by at least three different people, several pieces of parchment devoted to some kind of mathematical proof followed by the same equations with physical quantities of alchemical reagents substituted in, and what appears to be a full-page vitruvian diagram of a near-human skeleton with annotations for each "bone".
Lettie herself wastes no time on trying to properly identify or evaluate the threat. As soon as she's registered that something corporeal has breached her defenses and is scrambling to their feet next to her, the enclosed space begins to flood with miasma, the planks of the floor seek to twist about 033V33's legs, and the taxidermied alligator watching the front animates and lunges at her. None of these are being used with the intent to kill so much as immobilize, however painfully. Lettie herself grabs An Incomplete Guide to Calavan from the shelf, ready to hurl it at the intruder's head if need be. "Surrender! Won't hesitate kill- I won't hesitate to... to- to kill you... if you fu- fight." Loot Drop Instant Target creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn.
Create a Treasure token. (It's an artifact with ", Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color.")"I reckon the ring might have dented his skull."
Spark-Charged Infantry — Yeah, this seems more or less correctly costed, though it's a bit strange for the ability to also grant haste; it's not exactly an ability used before, and cards like Lightning Berserker might provide some insight as to why. 8/10

Lettie feels something disturb her presence within the Blind Eternities. I was not expecting that. It would be troublesome if that was some vital salvage, though it seems unlikely, given how much of the chassis remains. Perhaps it can still be restored? Lettie takes a moment to pry the exterior open to see how much remains within; it's just as well, considering that she needs more than just a single strike of damage for this to be convincing. She stays alert as she does so; the same technology had once called reinforcements to a location, after all. Tear Open Instant As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice an artifact or creature. Draw two cards. You lose 2 life.
Sacrifice the target to fizzle the tax.
Break Down — I wouldn't call this the best example of gold, considering it could be monocolour, and it doesn't represent a shared interest. It's also not clear if this is worth it in terms of tempo, considering that you lose excess tempo on this card's cost. 7/10
Nothing interferes with Lettie's further tinkering with the machine. However, when Lettie next returns to the secluded shop, an amount of snow has drifted in through a hole in the door that seemed to be hacked open by a very small and very dedicated being with a knife. If any scraps of the crushed drone had been left behind, they are now gone, but nothing else seems amiss. Tear Open - 9/10

Loot Drop is a fantastically funny card. You know what it's not though? Common. This is way to strong for common, and it's power level is sketchy even at uncommon given the rate of other treasure cards. Also, having this be pretty much color fixing with upside at instant speed is probably a pie break for black? 4/10033V33 tilts her head slightly before rising up, breaking through some of the restraints in the process. After this set of actions, Loot Drop resolves, killing Spark-Charged Infantry and giving me 6 1/1 white Soldiers.

Perhaps 033V33 has strength enough to break free of their burgeoning bonds, but she has done nothing to defend against the alligator bearing down on her, nor to halt the rotten fumes filling the enclosed space, slowly obscuring sight. The alligator by this point would be lunging upwards at 033V33's midsection to catch her in a crushing bite and drag her to the ground, unless she has some immediate way to defend herself. Legendary Planeswalker - Anne : Put a loyalty counter on each other red or white planeswalker you control. : Create a 1/1 red and white Insect Soldier creature token. If you control another planeswalker, put a lifelink counter on it. : Return target creature or planeswalker card with mana value X or less from your graveyard to the battlefield. : You get an emblem with "You may activate the loyalty abilities of planeswalkers you control an additional time each turn." I'm creating a token. Where 033V33 is brought to the floor, more planks conspire to keep her in place, and free the alligator of its engagement. Lettie slows her search to undertake it with care, just as Anne arrives. The crash from the shop's door as the intruder barges through is sufficient warning for Lettie to gracelessly backpedal, having found none of her desired vials. It buys her precious moments for her mind to race through the scenario. Under normal circumstances, my best move here would be to retrieve weaponry from another shop, before attacking this enclosed space from outside. However, even a brief absence would be time enough for the now scattered sensitive materials to be stolen or destroyed. This engagement must be halted rather than won.
A few tacit value judgments pass, and almost unconsciously, Lettie has the alligator shift its jaws from 033V33's midsection to her head and neck. Then she commits to the course, and screams, "Stop, or ki- I'll kill them!" Regardless of whether Anne does stop, the alligator's jaws will tighten around 033V33's head painfully, but not fatally.
If Anne does stop, there is a quiet moment in which Lettie's glares at her with wild eyes and a contorted snarl, before forcing a stiff upper lip that makes the horrid circles beneath her now narrowed eyes twitch. Given the chance, she says in a more controlled tone, "To rephrase: if you cooperate, we can discuss terms, and I may yet still allow the both of you to live. Otherwise, it would be inconvenient, yet trivial for me to end this." Lettie is exaggerating her combat capability somewhat, but she is in no way bluffing about killing 033V33 if Anne attacks.
Sorcery Destroy target creature or planeswalker.
Creatures your opponents control get -1/-1 until end of turn. Anne, Black-Eyed Savior — The pace on this is unusually slow given the cost. Lifelink also seems somewhat ill placed considering the gameplay that multiple planeswalkers on field promote. Otherwise, it seems to be a fairly cohesive design. 7/10

Aetherflash Warden — This particular use of hexproof is relatively recent in white, and this technically doesn't break anything, though it comes off as trying to give white a purposefully under-powered card in order to justify a bend. Refer to Geist Snatch as an example of what a similarly costed spell can do. Otherwise, it's a clean equivalent to player/permanent hexproof granting. 8/10

Aetherflash was held back because of cost reduction honestly. Loyalty mana is a fickle beast, so it's a two mana counter with a body. Hexing Husher is a stronger Vexing Shusher without the hybrid. Honestly, I think giving this thing flash is too much for two mana. 7/10

Zero approaches Lettie's shop, ostensibly unarmed but not alone. Zero was not entirely happy with this course of events, but Wormwood seemed to be the only lead on Nulien. Anyone could tell you where Nulien is. And yet no one has. I mean yeah it's out of the way a lot but No one knows anything about it but her. For as much as you can trust that. I don't. But it's all I have. And its better than anything you're doing in there.
The voice remained silent.
If Zero's way is unimpeded, she will continue into the shop.

Zero had only ever been to one of Wormwood's shops in the past. Even now, that shop stands, though it seems much sparser than what Zero's records might indicate. Neeyo and Atlani might notice this as well, compared to the ones they were in before, but the shop is unmistakably Wormwood's, and nothing bars the way to entry. As ever, they are watched by a pair of taxidermied animals, and the alarm reaches Lettie as she lies in wait at Neeyo's workshop. She delays her arrival when she notices that both Neeyo and Atlani are accompanying Zero. Problematic. My deception could be revealed if the hunter is particularly indiscreet. If I attack Zero now, they'll likely turn against me as well. Which leaves me with two new possible goals. She appears from the back of the shop, and on Zero's sensors as if from nowhere. "Hello Proto," Wormwood speaks in a forced tone as she emerges from a cloud of seemingly living miasma. Neeyo and Atlani would notice that Wormwood is carrying more vials than usual: her corrosives. Yet, she speaks as though to a regular customer. "The cat is absent today, I'm afraid. Do you still barter exclusively in water and alcohol?"
Sorcery Create two 1/1 black Faerie Elemental creature tokens with "When this creature dies, target opponent discards a card at random." Follow the road, not the lanterns of others.
Sure, let's lose creatures. It's no great matter.
All Roads Lead — With Sylvan Scrying in mind, this seems like a reasonable rate for the search, as does the creature destruction with Final Payment in mind. Slight incoherence in terms of how these contribute to a long-term game plan (like this not being a good fit for Heart due to the lost land), but a good opener. 9/10

Aetherflash was held back because of cost reduction honestly. Loyalty mana is a fickle beast, so it's a two mana counter with a body. Hexing Husher is a stronger Vexing Shusher without the hybrid. Honestly, I think giving this thing flash is too much for two mana. 7/10
Anne looked at Lettie with a blank stare. She began to talk again, her voice louder and more assertive. "As I said earlier, we were under the impression that this facility was abandoned." Anne holds her spear firm while her buckler remains on her arm. Her voice grew more angry as she talked, almost devolving to a growl. "Now, if you let both of us go, I will not hold this incident against you at all. If you don't..." she slams the wooden end of her spear against the floor firmly yet gently, "...I'll have your head on a pike." Her voice grew more controlled again.
"I have been bartering in intimidation more than water of late, but the alcohol still seems to be functional tender. There is also this," she produces a glowing plastic rectangle from her clothing. Segmented characters glowing on the card spell out 45 317 NEON CREDITS while images from a high-tech plane flash over much of the card. "For as much as that will help."
"But I am not here for weaponry this time. The last time we met, you claimed to know the location of a Spark Labs, if I remember correctly, that you would escort me there, even. I would like to take that deal, if it is still available." Sorcery When you cast Barter in Bones, for each opponent, copy it unless that player pays 4 life. You may choose new targets for the copy. Draw a card. Target opponent discards a card. "Of course, you don't have to pay us. Just don't plan on doing too much walking afterwards." Fool's Flame - i don't super jive with random discard at common and this comes late enough that i'm not sure it matters. 7/10

The request to be escorted would be a wonderful opportunity if it weren't for these two hanger-ons. Lettie scowls at the plastic rectangle. "That currency is not recognized on any plane where I ply my trade, so it seems you have nothing to offer me yet again—unless you'd like to start making offers through intimidation, which you're welcome to try this instant," Lettie dares with a sneer. "Maybe you'd like to explain where you got another skin to hide yourself in? If you've been repaired, it doesn't explain why you're still missing an arm and looking for Spark Labs." Her tone turning to one of mock pity, "Did you wander off on your own again? Though I suppose it would be impossible for you to be truly alone, wouldn't it?" she continues, tapping her temple, "Maybe you should ask one of your prisoners; as I recall, one of them was sent after you, to Nulien."
//Lettie can be interrupted at any point after she dares Zero. Obstinate Stand Instant You gain 4 life. Draw a card. When a spell or ability an opponent controls causes you to discard Obstinate Stand, you gain 4 life.
Paying 4 life and discarding this.
Barter in Bones — Two card swing for 3, fairly standard. The punisher mode is almost always going to be 4 life paid, unless you're playing politics in MP, which is an interesting possibility, and makes it a very good card for this context. It's very powerful either way. 8/10

As Lettie mentions "prisoners," Atlani looks to Zero, then back to Lettie. Atlani watches Zero as she speaks, waiting for some allusion to the aforementioned prisoners, and is confused upon hearing none, though Atlani says nothing yet. Prisoners? Should we try to find out where they are? Free them?
She referenced an inability to be alone, she's likely referring to spiritual prisoners, probably kept on her person or in her body, do try to keep up. You would likely have to fight her for them, which is inadvisable at the moment.Spark of Hope Instant Prevent all damage that would be dealt to target non-attacking creature this turn. Tap it. Lettie cackles when she realizes what the intimidation being offered truly is. "Intimidation as service. I wonder who taught you such a thing?" Lettie takes a quick moment to think. Without a way to separate Zero from the others, her only tool could be provocation, of either Zero or Atlani. "Services to be rendered in the future are as good as favours given in word. I can't escort you on that alone, but I can give you some guidance on how you can find your way back—in exchange for your work, of course." She says this truthfully. "First, however, given your... unreliable memory, I should verify how exactly you recall first hearing the name Nulien. Where and when? My guidance might not be useful, otherwise."
Lettie glances over at Atlani to watch her reaction to Zero's response. Atlani might notice Lettie looking her way, but glance away after a moment of uncomfortable eye contact.
Looking-Glass Abolisher Artifact Creature — Spirit Avatar As Looking-Glass Abolisher enters the battlefield, choose a number. If exactly the chosen number of damage would be dealt to anything, prevent that damage. (Combat damage from multiple sources is combined.) 4/3
“Besides, that’s not a regular rule: you invented it just now.” ―Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
Weak Point — What a shame that Omegalomania got buffed to 2 damage /s. This expects to hit between 1 and 2 creatures, which seems about correct, though it's an unfortunate case if you should be only hitting 1. Since it can target players, it can work elegantly with the likes of Blazing Volley too. I think that this works well for promoting a specific kind of archetype (while being the rarity for it), which makes it intriguing enough to be 10/10

Neeyo, having been simply standing quiet and observing, notices the escalating tension. This isn't actually getting me anywhere. I'm getting myself into the middle of something that seems to run a lot deeper than I had expected. Honestly, now is a decent enough time to leave, before I do get officially tangled. Neeyo finds a section of table space that could hold the drone and politely sets it down, upside down to ensure no quick runaway.
"So I can tell theres a... history here. I'm going to see myself out if that is all. You might find me at my temporary workshop if you need me, though I do think my employer has been seeking an update for some time." With a very cautious wave, Neeyo leaves the store.

"Finding a messenger is what I was attempting to do before all this... magic, memory void sorcery!" Zero grabs for the drone. "I will see what little this has left, then. We can hope a broken machine proves more useful than you."
// If not stopped, Zero will storm out of Lettie's with the drone in tow. Harvest Sidhe - 9/10
Lettie sighs. "By all means Angel, be my guest." She grins once Zero is gone, and follows after her; with that husk of scrap in tow, the scavenger would be sure to find them now.

test Her journey had started with a pitiful sea settlement. Beneath her interest as a maritime raider, unfortunately within her purview now that such things were out of her grasp, at the moment. Few riches could be found her, but bodies moved through this remote location at the edge of the coast that the rumor mill might have something for her. She might as well have been searching for smoke, given how little Kadri knew of her adversary, but it was better than licking her wounds and slowly scraping her arsenal back together. Currently, in a seedy tavern just past a dour noon, she had a dirtied bartender held to table, her grip on his neck and his face pressed into aged oak and spilled alcohol. One of her remaining swords (it's quality still up for debate, given the corrosion of her weaponry) was still at her side, but the man's eyes occasional looked to it, serving as an effective enough deterrent from any further stupidity. "Now," Kadri began, her clutch digging into the man's neck. "I'm looking for an alchemist. Deals in corrosives. Acids. Things that make locks melt and hinges fall apart." Her voice was measured, but it was clear she was restraining herself from an outburst, her stone grip evidence enough to her concealed rage. "Perhaps maybe they've even supplied poisons to you. I've seen better places with rats, whatever hides beneath your floorboards would need something to kill a man, judging by the look of it."
{Attack Card - Whispered Rumors} Whispered Rumors Sorcery Target player mills three cards. You draw a card for each nonland card put into their graveyard this way. “I’ve always hated rumor mills. They rarely deliver, and frequently exaggerate when they do.” — Kadri Blueswale

{Spoiler}{Attack Card - Whispered Rumors} Whispered Rumors Sorcery Target player mills three cards. You draw a card for each nonland card put into their graveyard this way. “I’ve always hated rumor mills. They rarely deliver, and frequently exaggerate when they do.” — Kadri Blueswale Such a brazen action draws many eyes and hushes some conversations, but such violence seems common enough that none of the other patrons intervene, yet. The initial shock of being slammed against the table having passed, the bartender coughs, and can only weakly manage "Melting? No one around here's called an alchemist, and all we've got for poison is the one apothecary, she's—", and he is interrupted with another coughing fit, before barely finishing with "a customer here." Nearby, another man finishes his drink, but decides not to leave when he hears the one apothecary mentioned. And Yet it Turns Instant Until end of turn, if a card would be put into target player's graveyard from anywhere, instead that card is revealed and put on the bottom of that player's library. Create a Vial token. (It's an artifact with ", Sacrifice this and another permanent: Draw a card. Activate this ability only during your turn.")And nothing is new under the sun, nor under the moon.
Whispered Rumors — 60% chance of hit for just under two cards is an alright rate for this cost. I think it could stand to have more hybrid density (taking the mill as an upside), but otherwise, it's fine. 8/10

test There was a faint glimmer of satisfaction on the woman’s face, yet her apparent approval of receiving an answer did little to stem the intensity of her grip, which did only tighten upon its victim. The threat of being choked to death was, somewhat literally, on the table, but the threat did more than actually cutting his breath short. “Where,” she asked, with all the politeness of a seagull gutting a rotting fish in a market square, “and if you lie to me, I will find you again, and I won’t give you a second chance to betray my trust. And they will never find where your miserable flesh went off to when I am done.”Bury the Bodies Instant Search your library for up to four creature cards with different names, shuffle, then reveal them. Your opponent chooses two. Put the chosen cards on the bottom of your library and the rest into your graveyard. - Calling for Aid, Innistrad: Cellar Door, to create guaranteed Zombie creature tokens. And Yet It Turns: An interesting use of green's somewhat niche ability to return cards to the deck, in a way that's somewhat well used here. The vial token helps the value, but as a niche piece this is at least usable as a specific answer. 8/10

The vial token helps the value, but as a niche piece this is at least usable as a specific answer. 8/10 As soon as Kadri asks about where the apothecary might be found, the nearby man gets up to leave, not waiting for what is just another threat to be finished. The poor bartender, on the other hand, can not ignore the threat, and doesn't value the apothecary's life above his own, so with what little breath Kadri can afford him in the following minutes, slowly gives her directions to the apothecary's shop in town, near the end of a road heading up a hill, even further from the coast.
If Kadri decides to go there now, she will find a modest shop, filled with more medicine than poison (though there is sometimes little difference between the two in this age), and a curious lack of acids, at least not in the storefront. A bass fish mounted on the wall seems to frown as it regards Kadri's entry, a skin of a salamander sits on the counter, and a stuffed dingo has been forced into a sitting position near some of the shelves, facing the back, so that a community fund box can be hung from its neck.
The shop itself seems to be empty, neither customer nor proprietor in sight, but there is a missive that has been hastily left on the counter, such that it was not entirely sealed. If Kadri breaks into the back room before checking the missive, she will notice that someone planeswalked away recently. Hasty Extraction Instant If you control a Swamp, you may put a -1/-1 counter on a creature you control rather than pay this spell's mana cost.
Choose target card in a graveyard other than a basic land card. Search its owner’s graveyard, hand, and library for any number of cards with the same name as that card and exile them. Then that player shuffles. You've given targets in grave, and shuffling will destroy the guarantee. (In the worst case, on the first turn without the wheel, you'll have to put a creature in the grave to continue this strategy.)
Bury the Bodies — Good CFA, but the card itself seems to be on the slightly weak side, counting it as two entombs with control given to your opponent. 8/10
