(Guest System) Walking past the faerie-filled tree, A bright-eyed woman suddenly turns on her heel to stare at the tree. Smiling, she raises the camera slung over her neck and approaches the tree. "Oh, I can see the front page now..." She mutters to herself before snapping a picture of the small structures and faeries flitting around the tree, the bright flash illuminating the entire tree for a moment, possibly blinding a few unfortunate faeries.
Instant Whenever a creature enters the battlefield this turn, return it to its owner's hand. Nothing makes a better first impression than a bad one.
The faerie's complain at the intruder and her light, two of them flying over to her directly. "What are you doing here?" one demands, "This is Bloom Court territory!"
Legendary Creature - Faerie Soldier Flying Whenever Vikrei or another creature enters the battlefield, you gain 1 life. Whenever Vikrei or another creature leaves the battlefield, each opponent loses 1 life. 3/1 Intrusive Entrance - this is kinda a sidegrade unsummon, so you can probably get away with like, 1U and uncommon really. 8/10

A treefolk steps out of a shadow and says "My master has a challenge for you, pop by the tavern if you're interested. Briar's crossbow snaps to attention as one of the trees suddenly starts talking and moving. This was not how things were supposed to work. But no talking tree was going to deter her. "I'll see to your challenge, I'm not afraid!" Sorcery Search your library for up to two land cards, then shuffle. Put each land that could produce a color of mana another permanent you control could produce onto the battlefield tapped, then put the rest into your hand. "This is mine! I was here first!" Treefolk Messenger - k this is gonna go a bit long, but because i like the potential here. it's a bit difficult to tell what this challenge mechanic is doing. seems like a kind of group hug thing that only activates when you meet a condition? probably a workable thing, but i think you wanna adjust the wording of it so it can be a bit more modular, like have the tokens intrinsically only able to be sacrificed "if you're up to the challenge" and have cards set up conditions like "You're up to the challenge if you control six or more lands." As is you just let the person activate this a few times then kill it and get your Treasures for free. Also in general i would recommend the challenge conditions be something that its easy to prevent your opponents from doing, like controlling creatures, which you can bounce, whereas lands are usually a lot more permanent. dece promise in this mechanic tho 7/10.
(also, not docking points on but, your MSE seems to be woefully out of date there. You'll at least wanna install the Matrix and MPlantin fonts that should be in your download to fix up your fonts)

(Guest System) The woman quickly drops her camera and raises her hands, flashing a very practiced cheery smile towards the faeries. "Oh, I do apologize for my intrusion!" She explains, sounding not the least bit sorry. "I'm with the Multiverse Chronicle. I just couldn't help but notice your little encampment here and I had to take a snapshot for the paper." The woman makes a small flourishing gesture, careful to not imply danger to the faeries. "Can't you imagine the headline? 'Ferocious Faeries Take Over Our Trees.' It would be front-page material for sure." Vikrei, Border Guard - This seems like a neat legend. Might be a little oppressive in a limited, but it's a rare so that's probably okay. 9/10 Filibuster Instant Counter target triggered or activated ability. "Good job, however that was just a taste of what's to come, should you come to the tavern and speak with my master!" (I actually meant check out the tavern thread. How do I update mse?) Quite an interesting card, might skew the format towards multicolor decks. Cool Ramp card anyway. 8/10

One by one the faeries of the lost hive of the Bloom Court disappear into the holes and structures of their tree. Much of the pilfered items that had decorated the tree were now out of sight, save for a gleaming blue canister hanging from a branch, feeding the red flowers that warmed the area. At Briar's insistence, their namesake faerie stopped attending them and flitted into the hive.
Briar looked over the forest, now nearly devoid of leaves. The snow had yet to come, but the wind promised it would not be long. And her time would come back not long after, even if there weren't any Moon Court faeries to fight it for.
She looked to the hive. Her hive. She didn't want it. She tried to run from it. But she got it all the same. All she wanted was to be home. To beg for forgiveness. To accept death at the hand of her Queen rather than become one herself. She closed her eyes...
But that was not her lot in life. She followed after the final fae, and closed off the hive for winter. Briar has gone into hibernation. She may return when the seasons turn again.
{Briar's Character Sheet} A small group of faeries have convened at a nearby tree, surrounded by a ring of warm red flowers. There is less and less activity as the temperature drops. The tree's branches are nearly bare, revealing the small structures and bits of shiny things pilfered from across the Arena. The recovering Briar is nowhere to be seen, but several faeries stand guard around one of the structures.

The robot sat in the pocket in the ruins she had claimed for herself. Among the debris from the previous resident sat a crude metal claw of an arm, disconnected after her body refused to integrate it. A new, tougher layer of synthetic skin covered her after the fight at EPIC had melted it away. On close inspection, it would give her away, but her socket of an arm was doing that anyway. Might as well get something more resistant to damage.
[Solar efficiency: forty-three point one zero three percent. Power remaining: thirty-three point three two six percent]
The solar panel in her blade had been a bigger issue. A black streak of dead cells still ran across the blade. It wouldn’t take her out of commission, she was better than that, but it made pushing her limits a much bigger risk and take that much longer to recover from. As much as it was not her strong suit, being diplomatic when possible was going to be vital. At least until she figured out how to return to Nulien. The word still caused her circuits to hesitate. It had been an error. How many more were there? Was that one even correct?
That one, at least, is, the mercenary’s voice answered. “And why should I trust anyone who wanted to kill me?” she countered aloud. Because you deserved it.
[Magical readings: fifteen point four one zero percent.] Zero turned her attention instead to her pings. That flash of magic was familiar to her. Planeswalker[10] had returned. She passed through regularly, but as far as Zero could tell hadn’t invaded the ruins in her time away.
[Biological readings: five point five nine three zero percent.] Until today, it seemed. Zero pinged again. Planeswalker[10] wasn’t moving, but wasn’t leaving either. Likely she had noticed the sword and was debating a course of action. Likely she wouldn’t know Zero knew she was there.
Zero emerged from the ruin, standing half again as tall as the child and then some. Planeswalker[10] jumped back, but remained where she stood. Planeswalker[10], “Karina,” had one of the strangest log files Zero had ever collected. She radiated magical energy unlike anyone Zero had ever encountered. Notes from the Experimenter themself warned not to hurt the child. And yet she appeared mostly harmless despite it all.
Can you hear this? came a new voice to her thoughts. “Do not do that!” Zero barked instantly, eliciting a yelp and a yelled “Sorry!” from the distance. A rift ripped open beside Zero, but she stayed her hand. [Rift density at zero point four eight percent. Elsewhere [ERROR: Unassigned variable] at zero point nine eight percent.]
The child seemed to wince from just the rift on its own. “Why do you do all that?” she shouted. Zero was not even sure where to begin on that question. “All the like…” Karina waved her arms around, then began casting a spell. And then a rift opened beside her. [Rift density at zero point four eight percent. Elsewhere [ERROR: Unassigned variable] at zero point nine eight percent.] What? Impossible. [Rift density at zero point four eight percent. Elsewhere [ERROR: Unassigned variable] at zero point nine eight percent.]
“What did you do?” Zero demanded.
”I-I just did what you did… part of it. You’re doing like five things at the same time and its really hard to see.” Another rift opened, then a third and a fourth. [Rift density at zero point four eight percent. Elsewhere [ERROR: Unassigned variable] at zero point nine eight percent.] “Its just some kinda swirly color thing.” Karina poked the fake rift, her finger passing out the other side.
“You can’t, that’s not.” [Rift density at zero point four eight percent. Elsewhere [ERROR: Unassigned variable] at zero point nine eight percent. Rift density at zero point four eight percent. Elsewhere [ERROR: Unassigned variable] at zero point nine eight percent. Rift density at zero point four eight percent. Elsewhere [ERROR: Unassigned variable] at zero point nine eight percent.] A new rift opened beside Zero. [Rift density at zero point nine six percent. Elsewhere [ERROR: Unassigned variable] at one point four six percent.] Scan is operating properly. She can. It is.
This is why her notes had warned her away. In a blink, Zero and her sword had sped off.
“No, wait!” Karina protested, far too late. This was going to take a while. She looked to her hand and cast again. A shimmery effect ran over her hand before it suddenly vanished. At her surprise, the spell broke, and her hand reappeared unharmed.
And it was going to be a lot weirder than she thought.
Experiment Zero has returned to the Arena.

He could fight in near perfect darkness. He might be considered a gargoyle if he was only barely seen, he shadows currently obscuring the perched form of the young man. Heh. Arc smirked to himself. Midnight Watcher - iunno why this random common ninja is an Elder 8/10Arcanis glided silently through the shadows until he stepped gently out into the lit area. "Good evening. You have some impressive senses." Arc approached close enough at this point to see that the woman was somehow mechanically augmented. "Ah! I see you probably have some kind of augmentation. Makes sense. Still impressive. No I have no wish to fight. I don't attack people unless I'm paid to do so. Lucky you." Arc stood relaxed. "You can call me Arcanis. I'm sure you can probably tell, I'm a planeswalker. Least that's what I've been told. Haven't been one long. I'm just here to talk." Patient Negotiator Creature- Human Advisor When Patient Negotiator enters the battlefield, starting with you each player puts a +1/+1 counter on target creature. 0/1 Entry Hazard: I really like the glitch mechanic. It seems very versatile of an ability. This one though I think is worded differently than intended. How I read this is when a creature enters for the first time in the turn put a... thus trying to count the number of times that specific creature entered the battlefield, which we know doesn't work. I think the intended meaning was something like put a ... the next time a creature enters/ whenever one enters. this wording however is not easy to adjust with the [glitch] mechanic. maybe have [This only triggers once this turn] at the end? I could also be wrong but it feels off. 9/10

Arc shook his head. "Very simple. I'm just putting myself in the path of any planeswalkers, or beings of similar power level I come across. I offer friendship, or at least non aggression agreements to the friendly ones. I'm new and I plan to make the best of what I can here. I am all for offering services in exchange for something of equal value. And anyone who knows the value of a loyal blade might benefit from someone like me." Arc waved a hand. "That is all. No death threats no attacks. Merely an introduction. And a gift. Someone like you probably values knowledge." Arc tossed a small crystal towards the cyborg. "Sometime for you time" Refracted Possibilities Stone Artifact , : Look at the top X cards of your library, put one back on top and the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order. Extraction Protocol: Seems a bit cheap cost or rarity to steal all the +1/+1 counters on the board, could probably use one or 2 more mana or rare rarity for that effect. Not a great response either tbh, as I'm the only one with creatures, though I'm not exactly sure how that is supposed to be handled. Pretty sure you meant as well, but that was probably just a slip so no deductions on that. 7/10

{Guest System} Looking up, you may notice a man striding towards you at a decent speed. It would be hard not to. As if in response to him, the grass he walks on seems to become more vibrant, but also sometimes changes colors. The wind seems to become more fierce, blowing his white sparse hair about wildly. Rocks seem to move out of his way intentionally, though he makes no motion to indicate he is doing it. He uses a staff as a walking stick, and each time it approaches the ground, the dirt rises to meet it, an inch or two up. None of these things return to normal after he leaves them, as if they await his return. If you can tell these things somehow, its as if he excites the aether, the mana itself, as he approaches. Arc waves a hand. "No need for any exchange. Merely trying to establish myself as a non hostile entity. Maybe there is a possible future where we become friends and Allies. I'm starting a Guild of like minded individuals with the purpose to accomplish together what might not be possible for each individually. Id like to extend a suspended invitation to you for once the group has been founded." Mild Manners Instant- Each player starting with you may Scry 3. Draw a card. "That would very much depend on who these likeminded individuals are. It is is difficult to trust most anyone here." Instant Draw a card. Migrane deals damage to target player equal to the number of cards drawn by players this turn. Mild Manners - 'starting with you' doesn't do much here. scry 3 is an awful lot of scry to hand out and i wouldn't wanna jam this at UU. 7/10.

{Guest System} "HOW MANY GUARDIANS DOES THIS PLANE POSSESS?" he shouts, walking closer. As his intention grows more violent, so too does the effects around him. The air ripples so drastically around him, its becoming harder to see past him. The grass is even growing rapidly, doing what nature intended but at speeds not. Rocks begin to lift off the ground and hover, following him. He doesn't seem to be attacking yet, but surely he is winding up for something soon. Echoing Energy Instant Converge -- Copy target instant or sorcery with mana cost X or less. If X is 5 or more, instead copy that spell a number of times equal to number of colors of mana spent to cast ~. You may choose new targets for the copies. Taste the Rainbow: Funny name. I like it! Probably deserves to be instant, imo. 9/10. Zero considered the question. There were a great deal of planeswalkers here, but how many aside from herself were guardians? Threat level eight, get out of here! She wanted to bark at the voice that wasn't real again, but it may have a point. The shouty man was not as blatantly aggressive as a creature of Elsewhere but the mass of spells were becoming a worry.
Gleaming rifts opened in the air around Zero. "Enough," she raised her voice over the whipping winds. "What do you need?" Desync Instant Glitch (Remove one [restriction] for each time you pay the glitch cost.)Put target spell or creature on top of its owner's library. That player [draws a card, then] mills three cards.
Echoing Energy - spooky but you do have to pump quite a bit into it to get there. 9/10

He proclaims, raising his arms into the air. Large chunks of dirt rise into the air, bits of dirt being blown off into the wind. He swings his arm down, pointing his staff at Zero. The chunks of dirt and the rocks that followed him hurl towards Zero at high speeds. Unbury Sorcery Dawn (You may pay rather than pay this spell's mana cost.)Converge -- Return X target cards from your graveyard to your hand, where X is the number of colors of mana spent to cast this spell. Desync: I've loved Glitch since I first read it. This spell is worded very oddly, but to make room for interesting interaction with the mechanic. A little nuts when you consider its an instant uncommon kill spell for . Might be better only hitting spells or being costed slightly higher. 8/10.

//Note, fuzzy time places interactions with Zero strictly after EPIC leaveing the arena. This means that some posts chronologically before this one might still be written.
The time has come. Lettie's network has sent her a priority report: Experiment Zero has returned. She had hoped to meet the enemy at the gates, but rather than be in a place to do so, Lettie finds herself in a spot of panic. It is too soon. If not for the other two twice damned machines, I would have been ready for this, but I have yet to replenish my corrosives supply, and I still must center my inventory on the new house. She takes a few moments to curse herself, to curse whatever god there may be, and to curse Zero, before calming down and formulating a plan. If I cannot attack now, then I will take it as more time to prepare in other respects. Zero could have been modified since their escape, so I must examine their capabilities, and find a plan of attack. Previously, they had been entirely disoriented. Now, they might have come to this place with a purpose. If I can find what that is, I can lure them into a trap. I will also need this purpose to head off any potential allies of theirs. Over the coming days, a handful of Lettie's informants will approach Zero as good if somewhat anxious citizens and ask Zero for their purpose, with an emphasis on whether or not Zero will protect them, from what, and what it is Zero plans to do. Treachery Sorcery Target opponent reveals their hand. You choose a noncreature, nonland card from it. That player discards that card. You lose 2 life. // Treatment Sorcery Choose a noncreature, nonland card name. Search target player's graveyard, hand, and library for any number of cards with that name and exile them. Then that player shuffles. (Split Card)

Arc felt the need to shift gears. Seems logical argument was more likely to have effect on this particular person. "True. Trust is a precious commodity around here. But if this group of people have a similar goal and with the right amount of regulation through rules and punishments for breaking the rules, the group can work as efficiently as a machine. The last stipulation is that anyone who joins must swear by those same rules or be punished and or removed from the group, depending on the infraction. Pretty basic stuff. But the purpose of the Guild is not necessarily to be all chummy with your guild mates. Like trust, the assistance of the Guild will be a commodity, bought and sold. But it is not for everyone. That is why I am recruiting." Arc figured that was all of it. He was still in the early stages of finding folks but it was going smoothly so far. Iceshard Merrow Creature- Merfolk Ninja Islandwalk Whenever Iceshard Merrow deals combat damage to a player, up to two target creatures that player controls don't untap during their controllers next untap step. 2/2 Migrane: So this effect is far to powerful for uncommon and only 3 mana. I'd put this at maybe a 5 mana rare. This card and a wheel effect is devastating. 6/10

Rifts fly open in front of Zero, disappearing many of the rocks into them. Zero rips a blue sword from the rifts at her side, then launches herself at the stranger, a jet of blue flame under her boots gives her some lift over any remaining rocks. Sorcery Cascade (When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order.) Target player discards two cards. Unbury - that is an awful lot of recursion for uncommon, and should exile itself 6/10

(guest system) "Oh ho! There it is!" he shouts. He pulls his staff back and the strong winds catapult him up and away. "Show me what you got!" he yells once more as flames begin to envelop the winds he rode away on. He begins to make motions as if he was dancing, and the wind and fire follow suit. He seems to be waiting for an opening to utilize it, however. Defensive Wards Instant Dawn (You may pay rather than pay this spell's mana cost.)You gain Ward until end of turn, where X is the number of colors of mana spent to cast this spell. Draw a card. Rip From Space: Cascade (while this character will probably have it) cards are really hard to judge. 4 or less isn't too oppressive, but this is effectively a 0-for-2 that costs anywhere between 1-4. I like the CFA idea though. 7/10.

The broken fool seems to still be searching for their home plane. I suppose with their corrupted memory, they could not return. The surest lure then would be the promise of another clue to the location of Spark Labs. While my corrosives are brewing, I can take this opportunity to fabricate such a lead. However, it would have to be delivered by proxy. The question now is whether I acquire such a proxy in earnest or deceit—which would depend on whether such theatrics are possible. Let us begin with creating the "plot hook", if some material can be found.
Lettie next directs her network to help her search for one of the miniature drones, currently operable or not, in the hopes of collecting one for herself; even near-scraps would do. Lettie centers her personal search on the site of Kaira's death. She is prioritizing those sending an emergency transmission about Prototype Zero. This will likely take longer than sending informants to approach Zero.
Sorcery Search target opponent's library for a card and exile it face down. Then that player shuffles. You may look at and play that card for as long as it remains exiled. Create two Treasure tokens.
Trepidation//Trespass — Kind of reaching for both your hybrid and gold here, with a bend on black's specific restocking, and Trespass technically not needing green (Though I recognize it's for the shared prefix implying hybrid-to-gold split as in GRNA). Otherwise, I appreciate responding to aesthetic motifs with similar motifs. 7/10

Sorcery Meteor Shower can't be countered. You may put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield. Meteor Shower deals X damage to any target, where X is 2 plus the number of lands that have entered the battlefield under your control this turn. Defensive Wards - little w ward, but nice 9/10
