While Lettie is looking more chipper, Pidge is looking a bit concerned over a wide blue paper, mostly blank except for a few words and arrows pointing at nothing.

"Hrm? Not at the moment, no," she says as she looks up. "Though yes to the other two." She walks over to the mail desk, pulling a few packages and a blue envelope out and setting them on the counter before uncovering a well bound book, as well as another mess of pages that are loosely bound.

"An Incomplete Guide to Calavan," she says, handing over the proper book. "Calavan's a plane that's kinda like a buncha islands, little planes that the citizens can move between, and thrives on planeswalker tourism. There's all kindsa little microcosms that might be interesting to you"

"And then... this. Cultivation of Novea... I found the author on Calavan, and he seemed kinda worried about going back to the place, said to try Medranos instead if I... anyway I went to check the plane out this time. The place seems safe enough, but there's not really any civilization there yet, so maybe that scared him off. I don't really get most of what's here, but sounds like stuff there grows like five times faster than normal, which sounds useful."

Keeping Close - very interesting drawback. was a bit spooped at the cost but guess this is similar card advantage to Words of Wisdom, also at two mana. 9/10

There's a vmm cutting off his next word as a red portal comes to life in the room, a kithkin tumbling out of it. The cat's attention shifts to her as she smacks one of her gloves, causing the portal to vanish. She takes a moment to catch her breath, then gives a "Hiya," before pulling a pouch of powder open.

"Welcome to the PB&J, stranger," she says as she starts applying the Lorwyn medicine. "What brings you out to our neck of the woods?" She finally gives the man a good look over. "Looking to buy or to sell?"

Nicholai watches the turtle, his face showing his impatience.  His attention turns to the portal, and watches as the Kithkin tumbles.  "Ah, the heart of the courier service itself, yes?" he says chuckling.  "Mostly to sell, if I must choose.  I'm a merchant myself, but I thought to offer my services, as a sort of possible business partner.  Ah, where are my manners?  Nicholai, enchanter and artificer." he says, smiling at her, extending his hand.

cajun Equalizer: Hmm.  I think this effect mostly sees play in , which means a transition to colorless is plausible.  4 feels too little, 5 feels too much?  Plus, negating draw and adding to your own is undervalued I think.  Then again, that's the commander mindset talking. Probably fine. 7.5/10 --> 8/10.

"Pidge, it's a pleasure to meet you." he listens to her speak, nodding.  Kithkin... interesting.  "Well, it's a bit more than jewelry--" he's cut off and only slightly mumbles to himself.  "Alright, I might have something like that.  One moment." he says, sticking a hand inside his robe and fishing around.  Eventually he fishes out a small purple crystal attached to a string, a simplistic necklace.  "Well, I have this.  It is pure mana from another plane - where this color of purple mana exists, but it seems to fail here. But - it can change to any color on a whim." he says, holding it and it shifts to white.  "Just needs a bit of a down payment, if you will."

The claws grab the slime and it waves and bubbles as it is approached towards the turtle. When it is close enough, it shakes from the claws and jumps to Jhanu's face attempting to bond with him. The claws are left all gooey and oily.p
