Hello,
I'm a long time MSE user but a first time poster.
I've done a search for creating higher quality cards, but have only discovered a post about keeping the quality poor in order to prevent counterfeiting.
Here's my problem. I have a custom set I'd like to have professionally printed up via a card printing company, but copying and pasting the cards reveal a 764 kb less than amazing blob of pixels.
I have attempted to create them with photoshop, but full time work and children just take away all my time. How would I go about creating HD templates in MSE that not only keep crisp fonts, but also HD photos that I have inserted in the card themselves? I am a freelance photographer and use my work for various cards such as the examples attached (that I had to painfully reduce to 1MB to upload here BTW). My OCD being such that it is, I cannot stand to have good pieces of art destroyed by pixilation yet I have little time to spend on each card, especially considering I have already created the set on MSE (350 cards at approximately 20 minutes per card is just unbearable). All my photographs are 50 MB+ in size and reducing them to 750 kb is a lesson in humility.
In short, what would I need to do to keep the quality intact? I have fairly good experience with modding and have taken a look at the Data folder, but am at a loss as to how to begin. Would I just simply paste higher quality templates over the existing ones? I also have no clue how to change the image importing to take a larger sample size.
Help?
