"Pardon my indiscretion," he says, rather quietly but with an awfully unapologetic tone, "but I noticed your old wound. What brings a veteran like you here?", he adds, the last sentence spoken in a somewhat softer tone.

I can't go back home - scars are signs of weakness, and there's no hiding a hole in the hearing-hole. And besides, the hunt's so much better out here! Oh, the feasts... Something about your face... Is it wrath? Manipulation? Whatever it is, I've seen that look on one too many a stuck-up Selkie." A wide, sturdy bush emerges in front of Kennory. "I can't trust you yet, so you'd better choose your words wisely. What brings you here, Heldra?"

Creature - Plant Wall  Defender  , sacrifice Thick-Leaved Bush: Target player draws a card. 0/3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Warrior's Past: I'm not sure if this should be hybrid or not - it doesn't feel monoblack or monogreen at all. It definitely looks alright power-wise, though, and would probably see play in many an Abzan deck. 7.5/10

Extricate: This definitely looks in-colour either way, and it seems to be pretty good in terms of power level. I like it a lot, but maybe it could one cheaper. 9/10

(Doer, the Greatest Hunter of the Meowtiverse) I smell the air, looking for a new prey. Something catches my attention. I smells cold, like the snow in the morning. Hum. Also a planeswalker. Silently I walk the few kilometres that separate us, until it gets in my vision range. I hid under a bush, completely unnoticed. I draw my weapon, turning it into a short knife. So, my new prey is a rabbit. I turns it's back, oblivious of what's coming. And then, I jump, dagger in hand, ready to end it whit one hit.Flashy Hunter   Creature - Cat Warrior  Flash, haste ~ can't be blocked unless each other attacking creature you control is blocked. 3/2

It's something a Grixis deck would run in standard, I think. But does it need haste AND flash? Maybe it's a bit too good, it makes me feel like it's too powerful. Ice-Boulder Torrent: So, turn 2, 0 damage; turn 3, 1; turn 4; 2 split among 2; turn 5, 3 split among 3; turn 6, 4 among 3... This gets better if you play two mana producers before you cast it, but I'm not really feeling it? Flames of the Firebrand feels consistently better. 6.5/10

The man isn't sure how that happened, but his short swords are now in their respective scabbards, which in turn are now attached around Heldra's waist. "Why are you here? Don't tell me you're here to fight the horde. I mean why you were here before you heard our conversation. And who are you? We could use help, but you'd better hope we like your answers."
If the man's face is hidden by the cloak, Heldra also requests him to show it.

It's probably not worth playing in Limited because requiring a power boost to kill one creature is a big hoop for a defender to jump through. I think it can get a slot somewhere in an Arcades EDH deck? 6/10

pacifistwestwoman and Neottolemo Rummaging Librarian: This feels a bit worse than Trophy Mage and the likes. I guess the scrying is more general, but maybe it could be a 2/2 and still be balanced. Overall, it seems alright enough, but I've got 3 cards to judge and can't go into much detail. 7/10Dampen the Offensive: It's a decent combat trick, and draw power is always nice. Again, 3 cards to rate, but I guess this could see play in limited. 8/10Kennory passively watches the argument for a while before speaking up. Ok, so, technically, since my previous card was an assist to Kennory's defence, pacifistwestwoman should've rated it, not goldencitybird , and I would've taken half the valour I got from the rating of the card, and there would've been no need for a response card to my assist from either of you. However, I'm fine with considering my card as a normal attack and just rating Slenderfoot Artillery (which seems alright and gets an 8/10). |

If you win the flip, put a+1/+1 counter on ~. If you lose the flip ~ deals damage to you equal to its power. "Entertain me."3/3 (Obvious homage to my boy Rakdos.) CARDNAME: This is weird. The second part should be worded different for sure, maybe something like "Whenever a creature dealt damage this way dies this turn, draw a card, then discard a card." Also, red doesn't get looting, so it should be discard then draw. I think this would be fine as an instant. Also, it bugs me a lot that it doesn't have a name but I'm not going to discount points for that. 6/10, a little bit of a mess. |

Right so goldencitybird pacifistwestwoman you don't always have to do attacks on other boards, you can also make gifts. Gifts can be rejected by making cards that go against them, or accepted by making cards that synergise with them. So, yeah, you could probably consider Peaceful Intentions a gift |

Spearhead Stoat: Double green for a creature that wants to have a mountain in play by the time you cast it seems like a pretty feel bad card. This would be better at 1G at uncommon or at 1GG and being a 3/2. Also, Mountain should be capitalized but I'm not going to take that into account. 7/10Xander turns towards the cat that's been running around throwing knives.
