I got the same problem. Most of my cards have a long type line and only around 10% of them don't get this shrinking problem when printing. I didn't print anything for several months though and i think i fixed this somewhere once.

Yes. Go to data, open the folder of the template that you're using, open the "style" file, search for the ####Card Type paragraph, then you'll find type:, then something like "width: { (if has_identity() then "290" else "310") - max(22,card_style.rarity.content_width) }". Either you get rid of this card_style.rarity.content_width parameter if you plan to never use large set symbols or you find a way to fix this parameter to a smaller value. I'm pretty sure that this fixed the problem when i tried.

Hey, is there any plans for the Devoid frame to be added to the mainframe master list? Am really missing having the text chopping option for a few things.

Doesn't seem to work for me, probably because I'm using "M15 Mainframe (M15 w/Text altering)" and I can't seem to find the correct folder. I've tried modifying the other M15 Mainframe folders (altered, dfc, planeswalker, planes, miniplanes and tokens) and, of course, didn't work. I think the problem is that "M15 Mainframe Altered" folder determines "M15 Style (w/Flavor Bar)" but not "M15 Mainframe (M15 w/Text altering)". I'm totally lost on this one Attachment Deleted

Unrelated note from my previous discussion; I've noticed that the backgrounds you can see in the attachments do not represent the real card background (being plain, colored, non transparent backgrounds). This is not a big deal on colored cards (almost unnoticeable on white cards, but you can see the background slightly popping out in green and black ones), but on land cards is highly noticeable. Is there a way to fix it? Like, telling MSE not to load these files? Are there even the basic backgrounds inside the data folder? Attachment Deleted

I've never seen these background images in my MSE. It doesn't use them. It uses directly the pictures named "wcard.png", "ucard.png", "bcard.png", "rcard.png", "gcard.png", "acard.png", ... that it finds in the current template folder.
Can you show us the two land images to compare please ? I'm not sure that i understand what's popping out on the background.

Those backgrounds are located in the "magic-default-image.mse" folder for me. This is a sample of the different backgrounds; it's like this for all colors and card types. Attachment Deleted

Well, sadly this will be some work for you as the card image files are already looking like this in the template folder. If you go to data\magic-m15.mse-style for example you can find mlcard.jpg that looks like this: Attachment DeletedYou will have to modify each of these pictures in each of the templates that you use if you want to clean these textboxes.

I've actually made it! This is the final result. Black, red and colorless lands should be better but the standalone colors and the rest works great. If any is interested I can send the files (provided that I'll find out how) Attachment Deleted

I don't understand why my -1/-1 is auto correcting to a dash line, it does it whether I do: -1/-1 or -1 / -1. I've even tried adding a dash after the correction and deleting the correction and it still corrects it. What?

It doesn't autocorrect for me, but the long line is automatic when you press the dash button twice (two dashes combines into this large one, useful for "choose one" type cards)

I'm well aware of the two dash correction feature, but I'm literally typing "-1"

I just checked and I have the same issue. It seems to be an overzealous auto-replace, which you should be able to fix pretty easily. Replace the file auto_replace in magic.mse-game with my attached version and it should be fine.

I'm pretty sure that this fixed the problem when i tried. Sorry to bother you again with this question, I'm still having problems with it. I've searched "type" under the "#### Card Style" paragraph (I'm using Cajun latest M15 altered) and found this line: width: { if is_map() then 205 else (if styling.color_indicator_dot then "290" else "310") - max(22,card_style.rarity.content_width) }I've tried many options with varied results: - changed (if styling.color_indicator_dot then "290" else "310") with 310 = typelines are closer to the set symbol in MSE, they are still compressed when exported to .pdf, except a couple of legendaries, but not if I export more the two/three cards in one file; - changed the "22" in max(22,card_style.rarity.content_width) with different values, than I've removed this line of text entirely = typelines are written under the set symbol in MSE, they are still compressed when exported to .pdf. The only exception is with "-100", where the card is correctly printed with the right typeline width.. but only is printed one at a time, and the the typeline is too close to the set symbol anyway. Should I use another program to export to PDF? I am missing something?

Kind regards, Velrun ps. first time visiting the new web site legendary with flavor bar is already included in mainframe which can be downloaded from the OP, adventure can be found here (thanks to cajun and kebelqwa), the thb version of nyx legendary hasn't been made by anyone on this site yet but mainframe can let you combine nyx and the legendary crown

I'll take a look, see if I can do something about the Nyx Legends. Seems like it should be a whole lot easier than trying to blank M20 tokens. EDIT: Got some crowns for the M15 Mainframe template made imgur.com/a/TxGYqdc

Hello, First, i would like to say that i very much appreciate all of the work that has been put into creating these templates, and then the sharing of them for others to use. I've been having a lot of fun using them. That being said, i was wondering if someone would be so kind as to help me with understanding something about how they work, as my understanding of coding only goes about as far as knowing how copy/paste works. I posted some examples to help explain what i'm trying to accomplish. I would like to use an overlay similar to what is in the text box on a planeswalker card (test) albeit not with the striping, the whole text box and type bar would be the same as the center stripe on the walker. Then use it in the text box of the promo card (test 2) so that i can use black text on those cards as well. I tried to figure out how to do this on my own but was only able to make it darker (test 3) which is kinda the opposite of what i want ha. I'm sure whatever it is that i'm missing is not particularly complicated but if someone would be able to explain to me what it is i need to do to make this work i would be very thankful. I don't necessarily want someone to do it for me, as i would be interested in understanding how it's actually done. Thank you in advance for your time.Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Thank you in advance for your time. The way the image masking works is it fades out the card image so you can see more of the card underneath. On the planeswalker frame, that's transparent or gray depending on setup. On the DKA frame, it's solid black, causing the difference. The basic fix is to edit the ccard.jpg etc to make the solid black part a lighter color.

Alright, I'll have to spend some time cleaning it up but i should be good to go now. I didn't understand how the layers worked and was only changing the image_mask file before. Thanks so much for your help! Attachment Deleted
