Are there plans to include templates like the Monarch and City's Blessing tokens? Or will we have to create our own versions of either? You can try Mahx's M15 Counters template, or I've got a Monarch emblem template saved from somewhere.

cajunThanks, that worked. Although the Monarch template without the top text is formatted wrong. The middle line takes text like a typeline rather than a name line.

How do I do a colorless, Eldrazi style card?

First post here so bear with me. I'm having a problem getting the card templates into the data folder. When I move the templates to the folder, (I'm trying to move the Future Sight frames) some of the files share the same name, and I have to either replace the files with the same name, or add a number to the end of the new file names. If I add a number to the end of the file names, MSE crashes. Does anybody know what I can do about this? Never mind, I figured it out.

These templates are great! Thank you so much for all this work. I have a small, request for the Mainframe planeswalkers. When planeswalkers don't have a loyalty ability in one of their stripes, and instead have a passive bonus, the indentation for that text is different! (such as those which can be your commander or the recent planeswalkers from War of the Spark) If anyone would like the indentation, it's a pretty easy fix. For each "level X text:" in the style settings, replace the "padding left" with a little script that checks if a loyalty cost is used. level 4 text:
padding left:
script:
if (card.loyalty_cost_4 == "")
then -8
else 6

Works perfectly even on Mainframe DFC! Thanks!

I keep getting the error below, it does not hurt anything really, but I am just wondering if there is a way for me to clear it? I did a quick search and a forum search and did not find a file similar to the magic-mana-small-extra-m15.mse-symbol-font 2016-03-13
Attachment DeletedMy apologies if this is something that was discussed withing the 9 pages ... Thanks for any help p.s. thanks for all the hard work for updating the frames and adding sweet things to continue my addiction <3

Don't know if this has been asked, but do you have any plans to add some of the additional "Mainframe Walker" options to the "M15 Mainframe" template? Like Borderless mode or the option to turn off "Default Image Size"?

Interesting, I am using the same font that comes with the Advanced MSE 2 that was linked previously in this thread if I recall It comes with the pack, but it's specifically made for m15 extra, and looks like you're using the package style option to use it. It shouldn't cause any issues, that warning's just there as the headsup for a possible cause if something does go weird.

cajun okay thank you very much for the help <3 also for all the work on the Mainframes, they have made a world of difference in the more wordy cards I have created and made the overall look of them MUCH cleaner Now I am off to look into creating my own Mana Type for my set because everyone keeps crying about the Phyrexian mana... sigh C'est la Vie

Cajun, the reason I'm asking is so I can get something that looks like the Ultimate Box Toppers, e.g., Platinum Empyrion. scryfall.com/card/puma/U30/platinum-emperionThis card style looks very different from the Mainframe Walkers template, aside from being borderless. So, I was hoping to be able to recreate this card style with M15 Mainframe, but currently it can't be done. I can use something like the "Art Backgrounds", but since none of them have popout image options, it kinda limits some of the things I want to do.

Right... but it does NOT have the borderless option. Any any templates that have the borderless option currently DO NOT have popout. Hence my issue.

cajun silly question... how difficult do you think it would be to make a "Merge Planeswalker" Card/s Template? I have a "Interesting" idea but I am not sure now difficult it would be to create a template for it in MSE. And as most people just say "You should take this question suggestion blah blah blah, to Cajun's Thread" I figured I would skip all that and take a moment to ask you here respectfully understanding that this is probably a little rude to just "Slap it here" and but here we are... <3

cajun you are hands down the most amazing and wonderful contributor haha I am sorry I bothered you with that. It is about 90% of what I was looking for. Basically you have laid the ground foundation which is amazing, I would love to have Walker abilities on both sides, but hey I beggars can't be choosers and I will work my idea around that. This second question is slightly unrelated, and if you'd like me to keep your forum clean I can PM you directly. Thanks again for this <3

Sorry I should have been a little more clear as to what I was meaning when I mentioned "Both Sides" there are technically 4 sides in the case of the cards, 2 Fronts and Melds for both back sides. Hopefully that makes it a little more clear to what I was meaning, but after looking at the Template it would be much too cluttered and difficult to pull off cleanly I would presume. So to make my life easier and the life of anyone who makes templates willing to help, I will just adapt my idea around the way it is now.
So about my second issue, I posted it in the Template forum as I would presume it is the best place to add it, I was trying to add a custom mana symbols but I have hit a snag, I This will keep it cleaner then explaining it all out again. Needless to say, I cannot seem to jump the last hurdle. Thanks for being cool and helpful Cajun as always

Just add the new sparker images that you want to the style file. Open it in a text editor, find the current "sparker" images, and then add a line choice for each of your new ones. For example, it currently has options such as "sparker colors blue", just add a new entry below every instance you see of that for your new color hybrid. Include the images in the folder, under the "planeswalker" subfolder (as that's where the current "sparker" images are located).

So I feel like I have done all of that correctly but now it might be a matter of, did I do it in the correct location... so below I will provide a photo list of where I did everything. {File Location of the DFC Mainframe Folder} {Proof of Images in Plansewalker Folder} I hopefully that helps guide you as to where I made my mistake.

Now, it looks like you changed some of the choice options there. I'm not an expert with these cards, so I never fool with the formatting. I'd assume there's something wrong there, so I'd put it back to the default, and then just add your extra sparker choices under where the originals are. (The coding might be set up to look for some VERY specific options.) And since it's a double-faced card, remember there are 'extra options' for both the front card and the back card, as well as the image template for both the front card and the back card. So four spots you potentially have to hit.

I've been experimenting with watermarks and have the same watermark file applied in two different ways. The one one on the left I coded in manually using the blends and putting the file into magic-watermarks.mse-include. The one on the right was created by using the custom watermark function in the mainframe set info section. In my opinion, coding the watermark in makes it look more like the real deal but I like the mainframe watermarks ease of use. Both of the resulting watermarks came from the same image. Not sure why it is so dark in the mainframe version. Wondering if it would be possible to apply the blend styles to watermarks in mainframe?

so proboards stopped telling me about people posting here oops I just cannot seem to figure it out sadly, I am missing something simple probably... I have looked through the style page for the \MSE\data\magic-m15-mainframe-dfc.mse-style I am grateful for any help Just add the new sparker images that you want to the style file. k you both overcomplicated this take a close look at that image you posted and maybe the instructions in the first post :^) Custom Transform Nodes: Save your images to "magic-mainframe-extras.mse-include" as pngs, preferably in a specialized folder named for you. In your set file, create a Mainframe DFC card and go to the Style tab. In Custom One and Custom Two, write the address to your card from within magic-mainframe-extras, for example my addresses are "cajun/comedy.png" and "cajun/tragedy.png". This will apply to each Mainframe DFC card that doesn't have the "options specific to this card" box checked at the time. On your DFCs, you can now select those images by clicking the transform node and choosing Custom One and Custom Two. In my opinion, coding the watermark in makes it look more like the real deal but I like the mainframe watermarks ease of use. Both of the resulting watermarks came from the same image. Not sure why it is so dark in the mainframe version. Wondering if it would be possible to apply the blend styles to watermarks in mainframe? well i don't know what code you used so my guess is you've reduced the opacity to some unknown degree. Which you can do in whatever editor you used to make the watermark to get the same effect from the mainframe watermark dunno what you mean by blend styles. if it's the color thing, can be done, but would require a consistent image size from the watermarks
