Thats the weird part cajun , unlike the Additional Downloads, what you have is a folder that doesn't have an MSE correlation. I'm wondering if I missed a step but it doesn't pop something up when i click on it and no additional templates have come in MSE at all from the Mainframe, however they have from Additional downloads. Any reasons why? Do I have to Download something extra or something? Since it seems Mainframe is completely inactive for me even though I know it works

I turned MSE into its own folder, the folder, not the program. I then put Cajun Styles and Mainframe into the MSE folder that had the program and I can't seem to find any adventure templats in styles. cajun did I do something wrong?

The Cajun styles and Mainframe go in the data subfolder.

you put the template folders inside that data folder. however, you don't put the "Cajun Styles" or "Mainframe 2020" folders into the data folder: inside those folders are many folders that have names like "magic-m15-adventure.mse-style" and similar. you need to move all of those folders into that data folder mentioned above.

Hey, Cajun! First time poster, and I'd like to start with a big, fat THANK YOU for the work you've done. Silverback Ape, too; I've been skimming this thread to see if reading can answer my questions before I ask them.
I haven't been able to find a template that allows for an obscene amount of text box while also having substantial space for art. In my mind, something akin to the M15 Prerelease Challenge stuff (Garruk the Slayer, for example) would be nearly ideal, assuming the text box had the option to remove indentation to simulate a non-planeswalker text box. I've tried using Meld templates to do the trick, but it's rather awkward. I also tried just using the M15 Classic-Shifted Hi-Rez template, but I can't figure out how to access the text box within the editor (am I supposed to edit the set in a different frame, then convert the set to the high-rez frame before exporting? If so, what template should be the base before conversion?). I've also tried using the Greater Morphling template; while the text box is certainly generous (nearly equal to the Full Text template!) the art box is... well, tiny.
Am I missing a template? Am I using existing templates incorrectly? Again, the size and proportions for Garruk the Slayer are *perfect*, so is that template lurking under my nose (with the ability to remove the indentations)? If not, I throw myself upon the generosity of those with greater skills and talent than myself -- is this something you'd be interested in making?
Thank you in advance for your time, even if all you did was read a post. ^.^

If it's the same masking? error that I was encountering earlier, it was solved by updating to MSE 2.1.

A tiny thing I wanted to point out, that persists across all the Mainframe templates:
Edit: I'm not talking about the collector number here (although that could be matched better), I'm talking about the copyright font. It's a quick and easy fix, from Matrix size 7 to MPlantin size 6.

MSE can't actually replicate the bottom-of-card text - since it's read by automated systems inside Wizards, it's monospaced rather than using standard kerning, and nobody is all that interested in trying to exactly replicate it.

Hey everyone, it's me again, and with some good news. I finally have some time to work on frames, and one of the things that i really wanted to get done is to update the Planeswalker frame. I basically edited the cajun Mainframe, so don't think that i made it, the only things that i've made are the images, and some editing on the masks made by him. Another thing is, it's a different folder, so if you find any error, you can still use the original one. On MSE, it will probably be on the side of the original Planeswalker Mainframe. The only problem that i could find until now is with the Clear frame(I suggest not to use the clear frame with separated text boxes). You can download it here: www.dropbox.com/s/e5ttfrycii1n2i4/magic-m15-mainframe-planeswalker-update.mse-style.rar?dl=0Here's a quick 'Old vs. New': QUICK EDIT: If anyone wants to check out some of my frames, here's the Doublemasters and the Jump Start Showcase Frame: magicseteditor.boards.net/thread/1302/double-masters-showcase-jumpstart-updatedAnd the Godzilla Frame: magicseteditor.boards.net/thread/1272/godzilla-m21-showcase-frames

Turns out the Full Art Planechase template has styling options that allow you to add a textbox, and to make it whatever size you want! Just wanted to let y'all know that a fix already existed, especially for someone who comes along later with a similar issue.

Hello, I'm having some difficulty using the custom mana symbol function. I've placed the .png file I want to use in the appropriate large and small folders in the Mainframe extras folder, and set all the options correctly in the Mainframe template options in the set info tab, but for some reason the symbol isn't binding to the V key. I keep getting the default symbol assigned to it. Did I misinterpret what you meant by V?

I keep getting the default symbol assigned to it. Did I misinterpret what you meant by V? 1) make sure you've restarted MSE so it can load your new images 2) the symbol will behave like a mana symbol on V, this means it doesn't auto-symbol just by itself but will if you type it like [V], if you type it in an auto-symbol context (such as "V," or "V:") or highlighting V and doing Ctrl+M or the Star button 3) if it still fails after that, send a screenshot of the options in the set tab and the mana image you're using and we can try some other debugging.

Still a no go, I even tried to delete the image that is normally set to V and its associations. While I was successful in removing that without error, now V gets replaced with just a generic symbol with a capital V in it. I understand the symbol I'm using is undersized (something i'm planning on fixing later), but i feel that should not be causing this problem.

(if you're not sure, best check for that is to run the .exe directly from that folder instead of whatever shortcut you may have)
and ye it is undersized, its a barely visible dot for me, not the default or generic V symbol tho.

That didn't do it either. I made sure there was no other installations of the editor or it's files, ran the editor from the same folder the files were in, and I'm getting no errors from the console. I applied the most recent mainframe patch, but this wasn't working before or after I did that. I'm going to try a clean installation of the editor, and then port in the same mainframe modules I've been using. that should tell me if my problem is with the base editor or with my mainframe files.

...And now in my carelessness, I've deleted all my custom masks.

Well, I managed to find my backup files, and doing a clean install of both the base editor and the mainframe extensions separately finally fixed the custom mana symbol issue. My best guess is there might be something wrong with the download for the editor bundled with Mainframe that is offered in additional resources.

I don't remember if that was signaled already (It maybe was. It even could have been signaled by me but I can't remember), but I have been having this problem with rares and mythic rares Fullart cards for quite some time. Is there a fix to this somewhere that I could have missed ? (I downloaded MSE 2.1.1 this evening, along with the last version of the Megafile and of the "Mainframe 2020" zip, slightly hoping it was addressed, but it looks like it wasn't). Thanks again for all the amazing work

1. I updated to 2.0 and it broke my watermarks transparency. I put the file names in the Set info tab and they show up but they're completely opaque. They have a drop shadow but no transparency. Where are the transparency controls for that? (Edit: Nevermind, I found the place to edit the transparency)
2. The mainframe DFC's used to allow for full art, now they don't. Can we add that feature back or am I just missing it?

Just want to say, fantastic work! I appreciate all the effort!
Totally useless and niche request: No chance you could add 4 colour hybrid and also allow for Prismatic to be in mana costs?
