Hey! Complete Newbie here, just joined. I can see that there's a loooooot of different things here, and the main thing I was wondering is if there's an easy way to get up to date with all the tools available? All the various frames and such, you know. I feel like combing through 32 pages of forum posts for all the download links and then searching to make sure I have the most up to date and bugfixed versions of each one might be a little much.
Anyways, any notes or help appreciated! This place is so cool!

I would also like to know this. The MSE I've been using for years is apparently horribly out of date and no longer supported and I literally just found that out by viewing this topic.
Also is there any way to change the text on the modal reminder to be something besides the creature type? I don't really want it to default to that, in my project the name would be much better.
Final question, how come the Pokemon evolution bar replaces the card name if it's populated when I use the CARDNAME or ~ shortcut? Any way to prevent that from happening? Kind of makes the bar useless.

Cajun, you're doing the gods' work as always. I noticed however that the dark grey divided sections in the new d20 frame happen to be the same dark grey as that in the textbox for the clear and devoid frames, so there's no colour distinction between the sections for those frames. There's obviously no reference for an official clear/devoid d20 card yet, so who knows what WotC would choose to do, but till then would it be possible to update your d20 option to either darken the dark grey sections or lighten the 'regular' sections when using those frames? oop, will get a patch for that at some point yea Hi, I'm new here and I have a question if I download the June update will i have access to everything that was in the previous updates? Console looks like this: this should be fixed now from discord Unrelated to my post from yesterday, I just found what looks to be a bug in M15 Mainframe when it comes to formatting bullet point options. that's actually an error on M15 Style, if you look at magic's modal cards they don't have those big line breaks, they have the smaller ones that Mainframe has. Kind of makes the bar useless. in the style tab of Mainframe DFC you can change the dfc type from Modal with standard flags to Modal with custom flags, and then you can type in whatever you want there. for the evobar, its because it uses the same field as the Godzilla alias. in the Set tab there's an option called Alias as Cardname, disable that and it will use the proper card names

I tried several times to update (with the various patches), then to fully replace the Mainframes, then to reinstall MSE from scratch, but I still can't seem to get the planeswalkers' custom masks to work.

It turns out I got the 2.0.0.0 version. Do I have to uninstall the old version in order to upgrade to the new?

same deal as below, if game files don't do it make sure the version number in the bottom left when you open MSE is 2.1.2 and not 2.0.0 also if you are not already, you need to be on MSE 2.1.2.

I have installed MSE 2.1.2
When I double click on the program, I have the options to create a new set or open an existing file. If I create a new set, I do not get to choose which type of set it should be (Vanguard, Magic, Yu-gi-oh etc.) I have no options and the program won't open.
If I choose to load an existing MSE file (like my Commander Cube), then it won't open. Nothing happens and I am sitting there waiting for minutes until I decide that the PC is not doing anything.
What should I do?
Should I uninstall all MSE files I have on my pc and re-install the new MSE2.1.2 again and download all of Cajun's templates once again? I might also lose a font I believe.

Any chance you could do something like this? An alternate version of creature levelers with a little down arrow, automatic indent, separating line, and a smaller power/toughness box? I've got more creatures I will probably do this to, but since I've already done it for these it should be rather straight-forward. how did you do this for one Done, Cajun. Thx!! Something I'm not sure was added to the last batch of templates was Carth the Lion's loyalty symbol in the text of cards. Was it added, and if so, how does one make them appear on cards?

Follow up question

yea it only has one folder in there and you want to update that folder in your current data folder. if that's out of date what you want is this zip file, move over at least the data folder stuff into your current one, or you can move the whole thing to also get MSE 2.1.2.
Where can I get the Sagas chapter "7" to "12"? I have updated the sistem but I don't get this updated, why? "why" is because there's absolutely no room for them and they don't exist. you can use the saga chapter replacement option if you want to use different symbols.

Did work ever begin on the sketch showcase frame? I believe Moth🦋 had all the frames and required attachments, such as the p/t box, for all colors and artifacts, and he was only missing a few that didn't have enough cards to work with, like the vehicle frame. Of course, not to say that I give this work for granted, just asking if somebody got to working on it, it'd be very nice to see that style available at some point

I can now create a new set and open old sets. However the individual cards look different but I guess it's something I can fix with a few hours of manual work by tweaking some of the styles to the ones I had before.
The "Console" keeps blinking red/grey/red/grey/red/grey etc. It gives me this error messages:
