"Do you ever hear voices, Karina? Like there's someone else inside of you, with different thoughts and opinions? It's like that, only the other part is just as much of a person as you are. It's nice, really, because they do a lot of things you can't or wouldn't want to do. If you're tired of, say, walking, you could just let them take over your legs for a while. And no, they're not shy. They just... have a different way of speaking." // Karina freezes in her tracks"I know exactly what you mean."
"V-Via... are you sure I can't talk with Akh? When that happened to me, it wasn't good. I want to make sure they're okay."Unilateral Control Instant Gain control of all spells and abilities. You may choose new targets for them. Your opponents can't cast spells this turn. Hush.

cajun Unilateral Control: This is one of the most mythic-feeling cards I've ever seen. 10/10."When that... happened to... you were... mind-controlled? By what? Oh, Karina, I'm so sorry. I can assure you, though, that my relationship with AKH is entirely voluntary. We actually made the split ourselves, a long time ago. Being the sort of thing I am was too much for one mind to take."
("AKH, I know this isn't your specialty, but if you don't talk, this girl will think I'm some kind of cognition-virus.")
{"We don't need her to trust us. We could just-"}("NO.")"Alright, Karina. {You wanted to talk to me? Here I am.}"AKH VIA has spent 100 valor to unlock the Twin-Souled perk!
VIA's Transmitter Artifact , : Target opponent gains control of target permanent you control. Draw a card. Then, if your opponents control three or more permanents you own, untap ~ and transform it. // AKH's TransmitterArtifact , : ~ deals 5 damage to the controller of target permanent you own. Rixos looks at the strange gate, wondering what can it be, or who can be inside. He aproaches it. "Hello? Anyone home? I'm Rixos of House Ker, merchant." Approach the Gate Sorcery Look at the top four cards of your library. You may put any of them into your hand and the rest into your graveyard. You lose 2 life for each card put into your hand this way and you gain 1 life for each card put into your graveyard this way. "It will only be a quick look."

Here I am.}" // Karina breathes a sigh of relief as another voice comes from the robot."Hello, Akh. I am sorry to bother you, but I needed to make sure you were okay. And, yes. I was... mind controlled. The voice in my head was... me."// Karina is nervously holding one arm and looking at the ground"It was probably stupid to think you were the same way, huh? I've just been so worried about it happening again that I thought you were the same kind of stuck I was."Okus's Hold Legendary Enchantment - Aura Enchant nonland permanent You control enchanted permanent. Permanents you control but don't own have hexproof. (and if neither of them want to push that issue we can move to here) // Karina lifts the transceiver for VIA to see"Thank you. I don't know how it works, though. A friend gave it to me so we could keep in touch all across the Arena." So she seems to know it can send messages. But can she read them? "I was letting her know I'd be gone a little longer because I was helping someone." // Karina gives a small smile and continues walking
Transmitters are neat. Might take a bit too long to really get it going. AKH packs quite a punch, but it's unfortunate that they fizzle out fairly easily. 9/10

cajun (Re: Perspective Trimmer - It was actually meant to be a reference to the "your experience is only one of many" line, but yeah, in the process of getting it to actually defend against your card I ended up shifting the tone a bit. Don't worry, it [probably] has nothing to do with how any of this will play out.) Hannah, Entelan Engineer: I like how this card wants you to play both small spells and large ones. It might want a larger body, since right now it doesn't do much unless you spend a lot of resources on it and draw fairly well. I'm iffy on an artificer that cares about instants and sorceries, but on the right plane I think it could work. 9/10."AKH and I? I told you, we created ourselves. mrlozanoRixos, Interplanar Deliverer: That is suspiciously strong for a "Citizen." The ability-haste is interesting and makes sense thematically, and I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet. I'm wary about repeatable instant-speed discard, since it can lock an opponent out of the game if they don't have instant-speed removal, but at least it's on a four-mana creature that has to spend two extra mana or wait a turn before using it. 7/10."Just goods, or information as well? You think yourself so very clever, AKH? The detective's "gift" hung from his wall where he left it - until a ghostly apparition moved it. However it may be tracked, it was moving swiftly into the night, gliding towards the large gate. As it neared them, the ghastly presence crushed it into pieces - and there was nothing and no one in sight.
We have to admit, however, it was amusing that you seemed to outsmart the detective so easily. Lost Signal: Artifact Mutation suggests this could be cheaper (though the cost here is probably fine for an artifact-heavy set), and the fact that it creates red Elementals makes the green feel a bit tenuous. The connection to the Eternities seems tenuously thin inside the gate, all of a sudden. It That Defies Sanity: Hmm. This is a super Eldrazi. One the one hand, exiling your hand is a bad thing. On the other, your opponent losing all their hand, a bunch of their permanents, or a mixture is very, very powerful. I think the downside isn't enough for a giant creature that just smashes your opponent into such a raw vulnerable state with little to no tools. Exiling 5-7 permanents (as this is probably a slot for a controlling style deck) is an excellent finisher to the point of top-deck warring is... bizarre. I am a sucker for names like that though. 6.5/10 --> 7/10.

Rip Off: Seems like a fine Murder variant for limited. No issues here. 10/10.{...And that puts us at vantablack. I suppose you'll want to try reasoning with the thing before you let me nuke it?}("You know me so well.")Mechanical arms emerge from the gate and grab the eldrazi, trying to drag it away. "Fine then, spirit. What are these services you ask of us?"Retrieval Module Artifact ~ enters the battlefield tapped. , : Return ~ and target creature you control to their owners' hands.

Parasign Heh. I guess they would call Us a spirit. "I know you seek a plane for your fathers. I know you grow weary of your fruitless search, inhabited plane after inhabited plane." the apparition swirled with a pale blue color. "Imagine if you could end your search here. Create your empire. Restore the glory of your Most Sane and Necessary Empire." it said. A gentle light emitted a vision on the ground in front of it. A vision of a large, sprawling post singularity empire - with Karina and others living inside it, exactly as they should be.Vision of Tomorrow Instant Target player draws two cards. Each other player draws a card. "Isn't in wonderful? Let us work for it today."
(Offering as a gift - targeting you. But are we teammates or opponents?)
Retrieval Module: Feels neat that it's repeatable and enters tapped. Something feels wrong looking at it, but that's probably just 'cause I hate artifacts sometimes. 10/10.

gurfafflekins Vision of Tomorrow: Costing it exactly halfway between Vision Skeins and Inspiration makes sense, though this feels more common than uncommon to me. 9/10. “I understood what you were offering, spirit. I was asking about what you wanted from us in return. You know. The catch.”
The eldrazi finally stops resisting. Chunks of tentacle snag on the spectral chains and break free as it allows itself to be pulled back through the portal.
“And for the record, I have plenty of leads already, every one of which appears more promising than trusting a being of unknown motive and abilities that opens its negotiations with a blatant threat. Do try to keep that in mind when you make your request.”Skepticism Module Artifact Instant, sorcery, and enchantment spells cost more to cast. "Care to substantiate your claim?"
