Parasign Given he was standing on a cliff several meters above the beach below, he was quite protected from the undead workforce by sheer distance. This of course, didn't work in his favor for gathering the attention of their apparent taskmaster. It would require a bit of effort for him to be noticed, especially given his already transient ability to be perceived, but eventually the overseen looked up from the work below to see him above, and her brow furrowed as she gazed at him. Her head jerked to her left, which seemed to indicate he should take a footpath down the cliff, conveniently unguarded by the zombies below. It did seem to dip out of her view, for a moment, but surely he wouldn't take long making his way down to the beachfront, would he? {Response Card - Undead Privateer} Undead Privateer - Creature - Zombie Pirate Whenever a Pirate or Zombie creature you control would deal combat damage to an opponent, they mill that many cards instead. Whenever a creature is put into an opponent’s graveyard from their library, exile that card and create a Treasure token. 4/2 Safety Measures There are concerns about this existing in a set where you lose life as part of an effect, but technically this being a unilateral defense against burn or drain is...concerning. I don't think conspiracies get to be this strong, but it doesn't completely stop these effects either. 3/10

Popcornia Undead Privateer: I like Undead Alchemist but this card doesn't have the exponential token creation that gave that card its charm. Making Treasure feels kind of arbitrary; it's a 4-mana card that ostensibly wants you to play it with other Zombies/Pirates, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be spending the mana on that's worth forgoing the face damage. 7/10.The man nods back, and walks down the indicated path to meet the overseer, stopping just close enough to clearly see her face."Greetings, madam." The man smiles and bows, the latter somewhat awkwardly given the weight of his pack. "It's always refreshing to see another face in these long travels. I am journeying across the world to document its many cultures, and... oh. Oh." His face falls. "You're a planeswalker."Isolation StudyConspiracy The first noncreature spell you cast each turn costs less to cast. When you control two or more creatures, choose one and sacrifice the rest. "Someone was asking about local customs." "So an outsider. Good, you indeed are to notify me of such. What is their appearance, what do they present themselves as?"
"..."
It vexed Lettie, the first time she had heard such a report. What kind of informant couldn't remember even the simplest apparent details of someone they had spoken to? Yet, more would corroborate the fact that they were being asked of local customs, and the lack of any fact concerning who had been asking. Vexing still, but now intriguing. Throughout the arena, residents of many settlements have been instructed to write down information regarding an individual asking such questions of culture, preferably immediately following that individual's departure. What might they report then?

Real headache remembering what he looked like; think I was too focused on the shimmer around him. Best I can describe it is like a cloak of broken glass. Notes tell me he was old, with a scraggly beard and bluish tinge to his skin like he was sick (that last one might have been the shimmer messing with the shop's lighting). Wrote both 'tall' and 'short' for some reason so reckon he's average height, but he was seated so hard to be sure. Voice was soft and a bit scratchy; didn't hear most of what he said.

JateHigh-Profile TargetsConspiracy Each spell you cast that targets a player costs less to cast. Jate had earned himself some of that very currency for his initiative; the report was vaguer than Lettie would have liked, but given Jate's indirect involvement, it was unlikely his memory was directly modified. In short, it was confirmation that the outsider was someone or something innately difficult to remember. With that in mind, Lettie decides now it would be best to keep as much of this man on paper as she can. She copies the attributes noted by Jate, remarking that there probably aren't many old bearded men on the Arena surrounded by shimmers like cloaks of broken glass. No profession is yet clear; any outsider could benefit from knowledge of customs, if only for ease of travel, and specifying local currencies would lend itself to a similar utility. Identifying the outsider's purpose would be the next step, then. As a matter of keeping her records straight, Lettie decides that the man warrants at least a temporary name. Let's say Yorick. They knew him, Horatio—in the past tense. She amends her orders to her informants, asking them now to report on the activity in general of a man matching the newfound description, and she waits for news.
High-Profile Targets — Comparing to Hymn of the Wilds, its hard to say if this is fair; my first guess is that it isn't, though any required changes would be minimal, seeing how viable the concept is as-is. 8/10

(Influence on deckbuilding hopefully means fewer cards lost to Warrant, and scry can help you sculpt your hand to play around it. A bit of a stretch, I know.) History, culture, and religion; lofty concepts that inform our present situation, but the present can not be known entirely from the past. If those are this man's only interests, then he is no immediate threat to me. At worst, he may recognize my borrowed name, and consider it to be in poor taste. Furthermore, should we come into conflict, he may find it difficult to seek reliable assistance on part of his bizarre condition.Lettie concludes that there will be no need to amend the network's standing orders; enough time has been spent on this matter already. The journal in Lysenda's possession is not yet an asset, but perhaps she could be persuaded to part with it should the need eventually arise. For now, such an effort would require too great a cost with too little justification.
Hero's Welcome — It's a tough call, but I think it's a reasonable card, though it is still a stretch considering that this doesn't namecheck, which this would be an excellent response to. 9/10

Who sold it to you?"Word of PossessionConspiracy Hidden agenda When ~ is turned face up during your turn, gain control of target permanent with the chosen name until end of turn. Untap it. It gains haste until end of turn. "Nobody solds it to me, 't was abandoned afta some lady did onea them dirt naps y'all likes to take and not comes back from. Prob'bly jus' too scareda goin' over the veil I guess. Anywhos, since she's not usin' it anymore I've keepin' it in good paws!" Forged Will Enchantment Whenever a creature dying causes a triggered ability to trigger, you may gain control of that ability and you may choose new targets for it. Word of Possession - conspiracy games usually don't have a game 2+ so this is p suspect typically but checks out in some scenario where that is a thing. 7/10

cajun Forged Will: I assume this is rare? I think multicolor hate cards are a bit awkward since they tend to want to be playable in a wider range of decks, but other than that I like this card. It's an interesting and unique effect. 8/10.The man gives Zweil a skeptical look. "I see. May I look inside the house first?"From All AnglesConspiracy Lands you control have " , : Add one mana of any color."

Parasign "Questions," she stated back, not taking her eyes off of him as she mulled over her answer. It was obvious he was a scholarly sort, but an odd one, given he already hadn't been perturbed by the undead just a few meters away. Even if he knew what she was, that told her little of what he himself knew, or what he could do with such knowledge. In essence he was... An unlikely threat.
"These sorry corpses you see were recruited from another plane, no one so far has dared required me to undo that particular fact." She said it coolly, not bothering her that she might, or rather, that she would eventually need to kill further. Or at least have her undead servants do such a task for her. {Response Card - Coinfletcher} Coinfletcher - Creature - Human Pirate Whenever an artifact enters the battlefield under an opponents control, create a token that’s a copy of that artifact. Exile it at the beginning of your next end step. 2/3 Contraband Profits: Neat. 9/10 for novelty, but also I like how this thing doesn't make unstoppable early ramp a thing.

The rat scurries over to the door and unravels a bit of rope that was hidden in the frame. With a little effort that seemed too little to move the great crystal door, it silently pulled open.
The interior of the room is completely empty. The building is just a single room, just six times larger than normal. The crystal seems to be etched to emulate the appearance of wood. In the lone window, if the scholar can get a good look, appears to be an etching of a horned skull with a horseshoe hanging from one horn.
Place of Rest Artifact When you have no cards in hand, sacrifice Place of Rest. If you do, draw seven cards. From All Angles not really a defense but a nice conspiracy 6/10

Arcanis Anonymous Drifter: So, these are cool ideas but the card doesn't really do anything with them. Both are pretty specific and I think they want to be on cards that are better at getting them to matter. 8/10.In the Atlas Bakery, Arcanis encounters a man who recognizes the name. He tells him Madame Lysenda is a wealthy, recently widowed lady who employs a servant named Alsy, and that she has been seen much less frequently as of late, supposedly due to illness. The Weak Will FailScheme Each opponent sacrifices a creature. Put each creature card with mana value 2 or less sacrificed this way onto the battlefield under your control.
