// Whoever is searching for the explosion finds a young woman, about in her late 20s, with a red stripe along her hair. Glass is shattered and spread into every direction that isn't towards the woman. Cracks in the ground have formed around a very tight epicenter. "A talking kitty!" The girl gasps. "I didn’t even have to kim-pleet you first! Janey won’t believe this!""YOU COULD MAKE HER." The voice resounding from the skeletal creature is deep, ragged, and wet. "No, Musis! Bad! Janey’s nice and brave and pretty and you can’t make me hurt her." The girl turns back to Doer and holds out a delicious-smelling lump of something black and oily. "Here, kitty. It’s a treat! You want a treat?"Something about the question makes it seem more a like a statement of fact. Baleful Bait Sorcery Target creature blocks this turn if able. mrlozano Egotistic(al?) Jester: I can see the Flagbearer ability in any color except black or red, so that’s a very odd choice here. Also, not sure what “Peasant” is doing in the typeline; Rogue or Bard, perhaps. (Yes, I know Bard isn’t a type, but it deserves to be one more than Peasant does.) I like how the two abilities synergize, but they really seem more green or white to me. 5/10."Aw." Somewhere on the Arena, a red-robed figure appears in the middle of a grassy field, which instantly bursts into flame. The figure seems unfazed by this as it lifts its arm to speak into a device at its wrist.
"Fallout to Sculptor. I'm in." A woman's voice, rasping with age and the respiratory scars of excessive smoke inhalation.
"Copy." The voice on the other end is that of an elderly male, soft and clipped. "You’re close to 7CP… where the 7CP headquarters are in our timeline. Go southwest. And…"
"I don’t like this, Sculptor."
"We've got the whole team back together, Fallout. We'll be right behind you."
"They want us to kill a kid!"
"A phyrexian, Fallout. It’s no more a child than anything we faced on Skalor. You do remember Skalor, don't you?"
The woman's hands clench, enveloped suddenly in white-hot flame. "How dare you—"
"I'm sorry. That was uncalled for. Of course you do." The man's voice goes very quiet. "Of course you do."
The woman takes a deep breath and lets herself relax. "You'll be right behind me."
"I guarantee it. Oh, and one more thing." The man sighs. "Fallout?"
"Yes?"
"Try to minimize collateral damage for once."
"I'd rather stick to my strengths."
"I'm seri—"
"Over and out."
The woman remains standing in the charred field. Metal goggles glint beneath the hood of her robe as she takes one last look at the symbol emblazoned on her wrist-comm: a glowing eye, set within a human palm, beneath an archway. Ravnican script around its edges reads: Strength through Unity.
"We are the Eyes Upon the Threshold," she hisses through clenched teeth.
"And we. Will. Keep. Watch."
The woman turns and walks southwest, leaving burning boot prints in her wake.

Neottolemo Necropolis at Unx: This is certainly more impactful in the right deck, but I feel like planes should generally be less narrow than this. Currently the static requires you to run a lot of one or two specific tribes, which means either (1) you're playing using the rules where each player brings their own planar deck, and run this in your Zombie deck to Plague Wind your opponents consequence-free, or (2) you're playing with all the planes, and this does nothing 90% of the time unless someone rolls chaos. I do like the chaos ability, though, and how it synergizes with the static while also subtly discouraging opponents from trying to planeswalk away. 8/10.Keystone of the Void Artifact If another permanent would leave the battlefield, exile it instead of putting it anywhere else. "If I can't see you, why should I pretend you exist?" — The Pattern WindyDelcarlo Starlight Banner: This goes infinite with any activated ability where the cost is either free or "Pay 1 life" (or 2, if you don’t need the unlimited lifegain). As such, it probably wants to be on something more expensive, and maybe easier for the opponent to remove. I also find it confusing that the scry is symmetrical but the lifegain isn't. I do like the trigger, though; I think "activated abilities matter" has potential. 6/10."Oh. I don't like clerics. They don't taste so good." The girl scratches her head. "No, those are carrots. We went through a big swirly hole in that big ship there and crashed on the ground. It was fun." She grins, flashing razor-sharp teeth. "What's a cleric?"Priest of Nutrition Creature – Plant Cleric When ~ enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature. Whenever ~ or another creature you control dies, you gain 1 life. If that creature had a +1/+1 counter on it, put a +1/+1 counter on another creature you control. 2/1 shiftyhomunculus Luminous Cohort: I like Refract in a vacuum, but it requires both special counters and unique tokens, which makes it difficult to find a set it would work in. Would be cool in a digital-only set, though. 8/10.As the creature moves, a web of glowing blue lines begins to spread across the walls around it with an ominous hum. "A spy, is it?"A tall, thin vedalken in a tattered red and blue robe turns and strides over to the creature, his gaze at once intense and distant, like he's glaring at someone halfway across the plane. He spares a contemptuous glance at the construct as he approaches. "You have nine seconds to convince me not to deconstruct your toy."Observation Web Creature – Illusion Wall Defender Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, scry 1. 0/4 cajun The LOUD: Having to track the physical location of counters on cards seems like a hassle, but blueprints are a cool enough idea that they might be worth it anyway. This also would make for a great digital-only mechanic. 9/10.The kithkin drops his spear, instinctively copying the motions in his memory. Something about it seems familiar: like mindweft, but wrong somehow. Painfully hot and bright. Like staring into… what did Travidar call it again? Right. A "sun." The noise is even worse. His hands clench ever tighter over his ears as he prays to the Reaper King for this horrid cacophony to end. Mindweft Surge Instant Choose a color of mana spent to cast ~. Creatures you control of that color get +1/+1 until end of turn. mrlozano Tour Guide: This seems a bit overcosted for what little self-mill it provides; I think it would be fine at 2 mana. I like it otherwise. 9/10."Yes, yes. I have four degrees in multiverse cosmology, of course I know what a planeswalker is. And furthermore… wait." His eyes narrow at Doer, his hands and forehead beginning to crackle with blue energy. "You did say the 'Arena,' yes? The stronghold of the Seventh Circle Protectorate? The secret weapon at the heart of the Second Risen Empire? The most heavily guarded plane on the known Multiverse, which I would be risking my life by even mentioning if I wasn't already running for said life several times over? That Arena?"Precarious Position Enchantment Whenever a player casts a spell, sacrifice ~. If you do, it deals 3 damage to each creature, each planeswalker, and each player.

That Arena?"Precarious Position Enchantment Whenever a player casts a spell, sacrifice ~. If you do, it deals 3 damage to each creature, each planeswalker, and each player. I want to tell him the truth. I really want to. Trust me. I'm the good guy. "Exactly that Arena." I lower my voice as I continue. "Luckily for you, this place where your ship has crashed is a secret forest, guarded by invisible meowgic that can't be detected by any living being. The Seventh Circle Protectorate totally ignores its existence. But if you venture out of it... I got chased by an armeow until I could find shelter here." I smile, dangerously. But I don't want meowster blue guy to turn into meowster pale guy, so I just laugh. "It's a joke, meowster. I've never heard about that Protectorate or Empire before in meow life. And this place is meowslty a chill out place for planeswalkers. We had an incident with a siren, but the place is pretty peaceful normeowlly."Pull a Prank Sorcery ~ deals 3 damage to target player. If that player has more cards in hand than you, exile the top card of their library. Until end of turn, you may cast that card and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to cast that spell. Precarious Position: I like this. The idea of chaining one into another amuses me a lot. 9/10

"If I can't see you, why should I pretend you exist?" — The Pattern Keystone of the Void: This probably kind of sucks if you use it as just Rest in Peace and I don't think it hoses flickering but it turns bounce into permanent exile and that's neat. 8/10
