Chrysoplei gives a smirk. "Glad you like him. Go ahead, he won't bite. I'm fairly sure..." Caelia's Support Instant Scry 2, then each player draws a card. Distracting Touch - That is... really weird. Removing things from combat is definitely a white thing, but I'm not entirely sure white cares about damaging things. I'll be generous though. 7/10

Instrospective Sigil: Really sweet response, 9/10.
"Wait, who is 'him'...?" asks Aylin, pausing the assault "Oh, dear, you're seriously obsessing over someone? Why do people waste their time with infatuation? It's not that hard, you know! You want to be with him? Be with him! But know this: love is a mistake, and letting someone else define you is as stupid as you can get!"

not into the spread indestructible potential of this that much but I guess it's pretty inefficient? 7/10

Rian continued thinking of what Aylin said. It seems she's right. His love for Allen was what killed him, but he couldn't quite let go of him.
Maybe he needed something to distract him. He takes his bag, and pulls out an ornate book from it. He sat under the cherry tree, and started reading it.
It was of a grand and sprawling history, filled with tales of adventure and sorcery and whatnot. He completely forgot about his unrequited love as he was pulled into the book. Metaphorically, of course. This forgetfulness would persist for a while after he was finished with the book.
Rian can now call aid from Dominaria (DOM).

Calming Visions Enchantment Play with the top card of your library revealed. Whenever a player casts a spell with the same type as the card on top of your library, you may have that player gain 2 life. Caelia appears to appreciate the petting. As Rian pets the dog, Chrysoplei looks him up and down, then looks around. "So, if you don't mind me asking, what exactly do you do here?" Scan the Surroundings Instant Search your library for a basic land card, reveal it and put it onto the battlefield tapped. Then shuffle your library. If there are three or more basic land types among lands you control, you may search your library for two basic land cards instead. Calming Visions - Rarity? Also should be "of the same type" I think. Otherwise, it seems decent enough. 9/10

Enchantment Whenever an opponent draws a card, you may discard a card. If you do, draw a card. Moritz: A very aristocrat-y draw engine. A bit parasitic on the pay 2 and sac thing. Other than that, is fine. 9/10

Chrysoplei raises an eyebrow but doesn't push any further for information. "Well, if you ever want my help with anything, I'll be around. It's been a pleasure."
Essence of Familiarity - Utterly useless. No-one would ever pay for this. I suppose you meant 'you may' as opposed to 'they may', but I'll rate based on what's there. 3/10

[Guest System]This one is already dead, it seems. As Rian comes back to his cherry tree, he finds a dagger stabbed into it. Probably the work of some passerby, it looks like a plain weapon. It looks thoughtless and done in anger.Whoever says what is already dead cannot die must be mistaken.Ominous Dagger Artifact - Equipment Equip Equipped creature has +2/+0. Do not fear the weapon alone - fear it's wielder.

As Rian pulls the dagger out, he’s filled with any and all memories that make him sad. The knife seems to want him to point it at himself. However, he drops it into the chasm without further struggle. such a strange thing, the mind.
Disarmament Rune: Basic enchantment/artifact removal, in the vein of that green one that does the same. 10/10. Can’t argue with it being simple.

Reyhsia frowned. That really didn't explain anything. "Sparking from spurned love? It can certainly be tied to strong emotional events, but I'm not sure I've ever seen one quite like yours. Can I ask what was happening before you found yourself here?"Moritz, the Persistent Legendary Creature - Human Advisor Whenever an opponent casts a spell during your turn, that player discards a card. "I'll get to the bottom of this, just as soon as I figure out what 'this' is."2/2 Liberating Acceptance - nice. could see this at WW probably. 9/10

Bloodied white rose petals, at that. He continues for a while, until, finally, he stops, and collapses.Blooming Soul Enchantment Whenever you discard a card, you gain 2 life and add . From the ashes of anguish rises a soul anew.
Moritz, the Persistent: Pretty good hatebear. 9/10.
White roses begin to grow on and around the cherry tree.Rian has paid 100 Valor to unlock the color Green. A heart symbol with a pair of wings appears on the wood of the cherry tree. Petals float in the air, towards the unconscious Rian, then stop in mid-air, forming what seems to be a pair of angel wings.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the Arena, a small aircraft, with the sillhouettes of its group of passengers on its windows, emerges from a rift, resembling a crack in reality. It lands smoothly on the grass, and the rift seals up. Rian has paid 150 Valor to unlock Kaladesh, Ixalan, and Zendikar. Achievement unlocked: Blind Seer.

"Alright fox boy, I've seen a lot, and I mean a lot, but this is all new to me."
"Well, let's see what I can do. Rachkta." Somehow, there was blood flowing through the dead fox. And somehow it had wound up on the rose petals that had somehow gotten into it. Nothing about this fox made any sense to her. She guided the blood from the petals back to Rian, then set her hands on his body to try to fix the internal bleeding.Reyhsia, Bloodcaster Legendary Creature - Human Warrior For each black mana symbol in the total cost of spells you cast, you may pay 1 life rather than pay that mana. 4/3
Blooming Soul - seems like it could be a mana cheaper or on a decent body for 3 mana. still solid tho. 9.5/10 Rian slowly stops bleeding internally. He opens his eyes. "T-thanks." The wing-like petal constructs float behind his back as he stands back up. "Two words: hanahaki disease."Restoration Sigil Enchantment , Sacrifice Restoration Sigil: The next spell you cast this turn costs less for each life you've gained. (For dealing with the generic mana costs of any black spells you cast.) Reyhs, Bloodcaster: Skidaddle skidoodle, Channel (the spell) is back, blacker than ever, and attached to a body that dies to Bolt. 8/10
Also thanks for the .5.

THE NIGHT AFTER OKUS RETURNS Rian is standing in the main entrance hall of the 7CI when Allen approaches. "Rian... Why did you abandon me? I followed you all the way the Spirit Realm... but you weren't there." He coughs up a scattering of bloodstained petals. As Rian rushes to aid him, the petals turn into dragons. Fire fills the room. Allen screams as he burns, but the fire leaves Rian untouched. As Allen's body crumbles to ash in Rian's arms, the fox-man awakens.
Beside his tree is a small tear in the sky. Through it, he can see a strange space; colors whirling in incomprehensible patterns. He knows, instinctively, that it is something to be feared.

Rian wakes up, teary-eyed. He stares in horror at the rift above him, then closes his eyes. A barrier of white forms above the tree, much like an umbrella, obscuring the rift.
"That's better." Guardian Field
Enchantment If a spell or ability an opponent controls would cause you to discard Guardian Field, you may instead put it onto the battlefield. At the beginning of your upkeep, you gain 2 life. Crucible of Hearts: This is the MTG equivalent of an illegal Minecraft building technique, and is basically an enchantment that Red can deal with. I LOVE IT. 10/10

@cyanogynist — Guardian Field: Comparing... uh... Quiet Disrepair? Dega Sanctuary? This seems pretty well-balanced, and a solid control/prison piece for limited. Also, a beautiful answer-without-removing that breaks symmetry for the Demesne. 9/10
And thus Rian's sleep is undisturbed once more.

Rian has defeated Celroen and earned [THAT WHICH WAS NOT BUILT]. While it has no mechanical effects or physical existence, it serves as a memorial to what once was and what could have been.
Elsewhere, long ago...
Yaara glanced back at the rift far behind her, then at the nightmares closing in. She'd failed. Sagit was dead—burned out, then torn to pieces when Yaara's barriers couldn't cover her escape. Ekaitz was dying, in a different Demesne across the block, trying to take as many nightmares with her as she could. Yaara prayed it was most of them. Kerri was dying, pierced through the heart by a shadow-spear that was meant for Yaara. She'd lost consciousness already, and with Sagit down nobody could heal her. Reinforcements were on the way—another two teams. She could probably make a barrier last until they got here; maybe Kerri would survive until then. But if she didn't stop the nightmares here, they'd arrive to a block already swarming with them. Outnumbered that much outside of a demesne, they'd be lucky if they could save any of the civilians there. She shook her head, then slammed her hands against the ground and made one last barrier. As the shining hexagons snapped into place to cover the rift, she rose to her feet, tears streaming down her face as the nightmares reached her.

After her initial attack on the rift doing next to nothing, Aylin begins pondering her options. She clearly can't fight this thing with physical strength, and she is smart enough not to walk into the nightmare hole, so her interest on it vanishes completely.
