Actually it shows up perfectly fine for me - in both of your posts from a few minutes ago. (for the record: the image was indeed broken in your old post)

Well, as it works just fine for me from two different devices and three different browsers, it seems to be an issue on your side. Have you either tried a different browser and/or device? Otherwise I suggest deleting your browser cache (especially considering in your older post the symbol is broken for me as well - so your browser might have stored that broken image)..

I see your tap/untap symbols perfectly fine since the first post too. It's probably your computer who refuses to show it.

I can also confirm all those symbols look totally normal to me. Are you still having issues?
To get this thread back on track, here's a card I came up with that allows decks with access to BBGG a way to get a little extra mileage out of their creatures' ETB and death triggers. Consider splashing into blue to combine this with Yarok, or move into white to play this alongside Teysa!

As more and more cards get printed, I figure a card like this could at least get into a Modern Horizons set:
Stumble into Oblivion Instant Exile target creature with first strike, double strike, or deathtouch. Draw a card. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Your skills can’t save you now!”

Was reading this, got to the section with Fiery Confluence, and was inspired to create this:
Overcharm of Purity Instant Multikicker (You may pay an additional any number of times as you cast this spell.) Choose X. For each time this spell was kicked, you may choose the same mode up to one additional time— • Target player gains 2 life. • Destroy target enchantment with converted mana cost of X or less. • Target player creates a 1/1 Soldier creature token. • Target creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
9:48a, 3/2/21 EDIT: Here's the rest of the cycle, for ease of reference:
Overcharm of Knowledge Instant Multikicker (You may pay an additional any number of times as you cast this spell.) Choose X. For each time this spell was kicked, you may choose the same mode up to one additional time— • Target player draws a card. • Return target nonland permanent with mana value of X or less to its owner’s hand. • Counter target spell with mana value of X or less. • Counter target activated or triggered ability whose source has mana value of X or less.
Overcharm of Rot Instant Multikicker (You may pay an additional any number of times as you cast this spell.) Choose X. For each time this spell was kicked, you may choose the same mode up to one additional time— • Target player loses 2 life. • Remove any counter other than -1/-1 from target permanent. • Put a -1/-1 counter on target permanent. • Exile X target cards from graveyards.
Overcharm of Passion Instant Multikicker (You may pay an additional any number of times as you cast this spell.) Choose X. For each time this spell was kicked, you may choose the same mode up to one additional time— • Overcharm of Passion deals 2 damage to target creature or planeswalker. • Destroy target artifact with mana value of X or less. • Target player gains control of target permanent with mana value of X or less until end of turn. Untap that permanent. It gains haste until end of turn. • Target creature gets +1/+0 and gains first strike and trample until end of turn.
Overcharm of the Wilds Instant Multikicker (You may pay an additional any number of times as you cast this spell.) Choose X. For each time this spell was kicked, you may choose the same mode up to one additional time— • Target player creates an X/X green Beast creature token. • Put a +1/+1 counter on target permanent. • Target player chooses land or nonland. That player reveals the top X cards of their library. That player may put any number of cards of the chosen type from among them into their hand. Then that player puts the rest on the bottom of their library in a random order. • Target permanent or player gains hexproof until end of turn.

Hey MSE peeps. Has a question regarding a mechanic I'm working on. Basically I want to know if it's straight up too powerful (I feel like it might be.) "Momento Tokens" (It's an artifact with ", , Sacrifice this artifact: Return target nonland card from your graveyard to your hand.")Pound of Flesh Sorcery Target creature gets -2/-2 until end of turn. Create a Momento token. (It's an artifact with ", , Sacrifice this artifact: Return target nonland card from your graveyard to your hand.")

sdfkjgh Your Overcharm is very inspiring. It looks very nicely balanced too. I'll probably create a similar card in my set. crimsonreaper It is very strong but i think it's totally fine when you put it on this weak spell.

For what it's worth, crimsonreaper, I think it's a reasonably well-costed artifact type. The major issue with it is that it could lead to really redundant games--imagine a Standard match where both players are running as many Memento (not Momento) tokens as they can, casting high-value cards and getting them back over and over again, at instant speed no less. Having said that, we don't really care about the health of the Standard meta here? Like, these are all strictly custom cards. WOTC legally can't even look at what we do here. All of which is to say that I think Mementos have value! You did a good job making them, and I think they're worth thinking about in greater detail.

crimsonreaper It should totally be possible. Maybe you could have something like: Divinento Instant Create two Momento tokens. , or: Momento Looting Sorcery Draw a card. Then, if you control no Momento token, discard a card. Create a Momento token.

We all know the stereotype of a Jewish or Italian mother, right? Well, Food tokens gave me the perfect opportunity to represent that in Magic:
Matronly Chef Creature--Human Artisan At the beginning of each player’s upkeep, each player creates a Food token. (They’re artifacts with “, , Sacrifice this artifact: You gain 3 life.”) ----------------------------------------------------------------- “You look so thin, you should eat something, dear!” 1/4

Meek Inheritance - Sorcery Target creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn. Then destroy target creature with a power of 4 or greater.

Kaya can't stay Parun of the Orzhov forever (especially now that she's joined The AvengersGatewatch), and machinations & political jousting are always thick in the Church of Deals. Plus, the undead have memories almost as long as their unlife:
Ilya, Orzhov Profitess Legendary Creature--Vedalken Spirit Vigilance Whenever you sacrifice a permanent, you may pay . If you do, add two mana in any combination of types. Spend only mana produced by lands to pay for this ability. , Sacrifice a permanent: Each opponent loses 2 life and you gain 2 life. 2/3

Just came up with a new keyword ability, would love some feedback:
Maniacal Pyromancer Creature--Goblin Wizard Berserker Haste, double strike Burnlink (Whenever this deals combat damage, you may have it deal that much damage to you or a permanent you control. If you do, this deals that much damage to any target. You can’t gain life from this noncombat damage.) ------------------------------------------------------------------ “Some just want to watch the world burn. Others don’t even bother watching.” —Deodrick Gazdra 1/2

Hey peeps, wanted to get your thoughts on the design of these card. For an upcoming COMPLETELY SERIOUS "Christmas" themed set I'm devising... {Some Cards} Winter Unending makes no sense to me. It enters the battlefield, go to endstep, trigger ability, you go to your next turn but you can't untap anything, and then the card gets sacrificed and goes away? Best case scenario is you draw into a land every turn until you can play somethign really big, but even that's stretching it. It basically reads "you get an extra turn with three less mana, and maybe a few more if you have a few snow-lands and things in hand." But it doesn't really allow you to do anything? It basically just allows you to dig a few extra cards. It's functionally non-playable. Also Gifts Unwanted seems like a worse yet better Unmoored Ego, which I could get behind.

Oh damn, I forgot to update Winter unending. The skip the untap step was my original design, but I wanted to change it to only non-snow permanents don't untap tap. Do you think that would make it better? I guess my concern was that if you are running a snow heavy game (which the set I'm devising is very heavy on) you could theoretically have never-ending turns :/ {Is this any better?}

Yeah I think that takes it the opposite direction. I assume you are making a snow-heavy set based on theme, and this would basically lock everyone else out of the game.

Some dumb arcun ideas (I'm keeping them to CMC 3 because... well, why not?): Advent of the Meek - Sorcery - Search your library for a creature with converted mana cost 1, put it onto the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it for each card named Advent of the Meek in your graveyard, then shuffle your library. Cantor of Graves - Creature - Siren Warlock Flying Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may search your library for a creature card that shares a name with that creature, reveal it, then put it into your graveyard. Then shuffle your library. 2/1 Eater of Insight - Creature - Horror Shaman Prowess Whenever Eater of Insight deals combat damage to a creature, that creature's controller draws that many cards. Then Eater of Insight deals damage to that player equal to the number of cards they've drawn this turn. 0/3 Legion Bellringer - Creature - Human Soldier Cleric Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, you may discard a card. If you do, draw a card and you may gain 1 life. 2/2 Woodland Haint - Creature - Spirit Whenever you search your library for one or more cards, choose one: • Put a basic land card in your hand onto the battlefield. • Each opponent puts the top card of their library into the graveyard. 2/3

My first Adventure design (can't wait for the template) I submitted to cajun the blanked card pictures for the template. Half of the work is done i guess. The second half seems to be a bit tricky though especially for the coding of hybrids. He said he will try to finish it before the end of October.
