Manaspout was originally Cultivate + Retrace. Then I thought better of letting you chain that easily. It's less of a card for retrace decks and more of a way to turn extra land draws into deck thinning + some ramp. ... On an unrelated note... did anyone say mana flood? Arboreal Dreams - Sorcery Target player reveals the top seven cards of their library. Put all land cards revealed this way into their hand and the rest into their graveyard. |

Lady Mapi: Did you intend for this to hose opponents' Auras and Equipment so thoroughly, or was it just an oversight? Normally, an effect like this would say "Whenever a permanent you control becomes attached to a creature you don't control, tap that creature. It does not untap during its controller's next untap step." That way, opponents can still use Auras and Equipment, and you just get a bonus whenever you attach your stuff to theirs.

What's best about those times is when the full ramifications take a while to dawn upon people's realization. It's like the flavor text of Train of Thought. |

Some dumb commander designs inspired by Hearthstone cards: Endless Suraz - Legendary Creature - Human Shaman When Endless Suraz enters the battlefield, return all permanents you've exiled with cards named Endless Suraz to the battlefield attached to Endless Suraz. When Endless Suraz leaves the battlefield, exile each aura attached to it. 2/2 Tlan the Temporal - Legendary Creature - Vedalken Wizard At the beginning of your upkeep, reveal the top card of your library. If you reveal an artifact or creature card this way, create a token copy of it, except it is a 1/1 blue and red Weird creature token instead of its other types and colors. Then you may put that card on the bottom of your library. 1/3 |
