Shadows of tattoos cover her left side, and she gives a concerned look, before vanishing.---In the morning, the door of Rolt's office is standing peacefully, covered in a silver golden symbol of Rudara.Pathetic creatures and their war tactics.The symbol remained on the door, in the still air around the office. We do not reside here. This is just where these heathens seem to congregate to speak to Us.Stoic Guard   Creature - Spirit Soldier  When ~ enters the battlefield, you gain 2 life. "Stoic" is often another word for "bored".2/2 Yeah, you can hit me, I don't really care about it though. Guess I'll gain some life or something to offset some damage. Covert Operation: Lots of choices for two mana, especially that discard. 9/10.

Disrupting the tidiness was a set of spoons on the table, covered in a browned liquid.Another fool for the flames.No one was inside, and it was as good a place as any.Ominous Welcome   Instant  Target creature gets +3/+3 until end of turn. And when she would find a mana bond, she would connect to it - before it snapped.Mana Severance  Instant Destroy target nonbasic land, then ~ deals 2 damage to that land's controller and 1 damage to you. And again and again and again. She couldn't stay connected to any new bonds for long.Sunspear Memorial: Neato. 9/10.

Then, a generic looking blast of red energy shot towards Karina. As predicted, the spear ejected a blast of white light, deflecting the light into nothing, and out stood a spirit of Aiden, defending the girl. Tsk tsk, soldier boy.As his spirit shot out, another one followed. The spirit of Melody popped out of the spear, appearing across from the duo."Aiden?" she asked, before looking at her gut in pain and gasping. A black light seared from inside her, before her orange spirit turned to shreds of light on the wind.Ominous Banishing Instant Exile target creature. Overload "NO!" shouted the remaining spirit, looking around. What the Hell was that?! Ghostly tears ran down his cheek, his spirit flaring and enraged.
The tribal blonde woman stepped forward from where Melody was.Now THIS was satisfying.Karina of Sunspear: Reverse Zurgo, plus niche auto equip. Seems alright "build around me" card. 9/10.

My only complain is that it's a flying spider. Mtg spiders are ussually anti-flyers, so this is kinda awkward. The effect is neat, though. 8/10 |

Equip Ominous Welcome is quite ominous - however, it feels kinda weird. I think I'd like it better if things were ordered so that you could buff the Saproling you made... however, a 4/4 blocker flashed in at the last second for would be kinda excessive, so... 9/10 |

Truefire Duelist: Corrosive Ooze suggests this could probably be stronger, even if it does destroy the equipment before combat. Defensive stats + triggering only on blocks seems weird for red, but that's probably more a symptom of how red's been pigeon-holed mechanically rather than a design flaw with this card. Flavor text is nice, though it seems like pretty much the opposite of red's philosophy. 8/10.

so -22 to the mana pool all told (-3 for Aiden, Shoal, and Strike taxes, -2 for Strike, -11 for Wurm even if I didn't actually cast it) (yea maybe i wouldn't be eating that irl but made Blastback symmetric on purpose) Vengeful Eternal - not sure if the revenge strike is intended to create draws/unlose games, but it doesn't as worded (esp cause you've got a When where you need an If :b) Think i'd prefer a trample or menace here, flying does a whole lotta damage and these are the colors worst at fliers on average. 9/10 |

cajun Aiden Eternal: Pretty good with indestructible. Really deters attacking ever though, even without it. 9/10. The clone remains quiet. The spear launches itself through her - and Karina feels a phantom pain in her chest, right where the spear is piercing through her other self. No blood seeps out. "Yes, it is as you say. We are inconvenienced by your team of... 'friends'. The blood seer, the map wielder, the merchant. But none of them can help you from what's inside of you." Aiden seems to be struggling from outside some sort of forcefield - an invisible bubble around them from the spirit. Forced to watch. Heh."And yes, you won. Congratulations. It must be such an accomplishment for you, whelp." Karina takes another step towards Karina. The spear drops to the ground as Karina shifts, the phantom pain fading, turning into a spiritual version of Aiden.Maniacal Soul Stealer Creature - Spirit Wizard When ~ enters the battlefield, you may create a token copy of target creature. Then, each opponent sacrifices a creature that shares a name with that token. "You said it yourself - this soul is special!"

The clone remains quiet. The spear launches itself through her - and Karina feels a phantom pain in her chest, right where the spear is piercing through her other self. No blood seeps out. "Yes, it is as you say. We are inconvenienced by your team of... 'friends'. The blood seer, the map wielder, the merchant. But none of them can help you from what's inside of you." Aiden seems to be struggling from outside some sort of forcefield - an invisible bubble around them from the spirit. Forced to watch. Heh."And yes, you won. Congratulations. It must be such an accomplishment for you, whelp." Karina takes another step towards Karina. The spear drops to the ground as Karina shifts, the phantom pain fading, turning into a spiritual version of Aiden."Now do you see? We are all. We are everything. That hat was but a fraction of your nightmares." the spirit leans down and picks up the spear, slamming it's wooden end into the ground.
"Because he had control. You had nothing. And yet you won."
A white light shudders beneath the ground, before a crack appears in it, slowly opening towards Karina.
"But we will show you what it is like to be in control, to have everything. And yet you will lose."

Temper Tantrum Sorcery Each permanent you own but don't control deals 2 damage to its controller. Gain control of those permanents.
Maniacal Soul Stealer - hm, mana pips on this make me sad :b Effect is cool, seems like it'd be bit more elegant as a Clone or a Sorcery than a 0/1 tagalong? though opens up flicker shenanigans so. 9/10 |

The elf turns towards the man, smiling. The heart was the source of all torment. "Now, what makes you sad this day?"Revelation of Fragility: Feels more blue, looking at Dismiss into Dream, but I get the whole red flavor thing. 8/10.
