Judgement time! { Flo00 }Distant counsel (As you draft this card, you may reveal it and choose a player who sits not next to you.)I would probably word the reminder text as "choose another player that doesn't sit next to you," but that's a minor quibble. I love draft matters and the conspiracy multiplayer draft format, and this makes for a really cool political tool. All of your card designs for it look really solid. I wonder if Tamed Baloth is a little on the strong side, but otherwise, I really like these. You've got me thinking about other cards to finish off the Sinister Revelations/Court Fires cycle (Maybe an overrun effect for green? Token making for white?). I also wish you had maybe made another conspiracy with the mechanic, but honestly, you made so many cards already. { hydraheadhunter }Distant TYPE (Being a(n) TYPE does not cause ~ to share a creature type with other TYPEs not named ~.)While this is an interesting mechanic on paper, I'm not sure it would hold water in a set. There aren't too many effects that care about shared creature type, so I see it being very parasitic in a bad way, and I feel like a lot of the different cards would play very repetitively amongst each other. { Sanfonier of the Night}Distant physiology (This card can't be the target of spells or abilities without in the cost.)So this is basically a slightly worse Shroud. I don't really have much to say about this, other than that it feels kind of forced. { spruder }Distant <Land Type> (As long as you control at least three untapped <land type>, CARDNAME has protection from creatures)I like the concept of conditional protection. The flavor is relatively solid as well. My only issue is that protection means a lot of things at once and not having that written out on the card can make it hard to keep track of. { ZephyrPhantom }distance <fee> from <foo> (Foo deals no damage to fee this turn.)Keywording damage prevention is an interesting direction to take this prompt, and I like the way you used it here. Simple, clean, and evocative. { thaneofglamis }I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I lean towards not liking it, as it would encourage players to mana screw themselves in the deckbuilding process. It would probably be easier to judge if you had a couple more example cards. Whew! That was a lot of judging! After all this deliberation, I'm giving the win to Flo00 for such a fun looking draft mechanic, with ZephyrPhantom as runner up for such a clean and simple keyword. Thanks to everyone for participating!

Your next word is animal/animalistic or anything similar.

I'm wondering if this would actually work:
Animalistic {some cost} (Until end of turn, this creature loses all abilities and gets +1/+1 for each ability lost this way.)

I'm wondering if this would actually work:
Animalistic {some cost} (Until end of turn, this creature loses all abilities and gets +1/+1 for each ability lost this way.) It seems borderline silverbordered. I'd like to see you try to make it work. Whisper of the Windborne Two generic and a blue Tribal Enchantment - Bird Flying, Curiosity Anima (two blue) 1/3 I hope your version of curiosity only works with combat damage. Otherwise it would be another Niv combo piece.

Otherwise it would be another Niv combo piece. I play nekusar, why do I always forget that curiousity is damage not combat damage. I switch it up in a bit, because yeah last thing Niv needs is another combo piece.

Irno the Unstoppable Legendary Creature--Berserker Paragon (This creature is every creature race type at all times.) First strike, haste, deathtouch, vigilance, frenzy 2 (Whenever this creature attacks and isn’t blocked, it gets +2/+0 until end of turn.) : Irno the Unstoppable gains hexproof until end of turn. Animalistic—Defending player gains 4 life. Activate this ability only if Irno the Unstoppable is attacking that player. 3/5
There's some tricksey things you can do with Irno, like attack, be unblocked for frenzy, activate the hexproof ability, hold priority, have it go animalistic (granting +8/+8) and then let the hexproof resolve. You can also activate hexproof as a pseudo-Shade pump for animalistic.
Ruckus Decoy Creature--Vedalken Berserker Ruckus Decoy can’t be blocked. Animalistic (: Until end of turn, Ruckus Decoy loses all abilities and gets +1/+1 for each ability lost this way.) 2/1
And the pseudo-animalistic entries:
Unleash the Beast Tribal Instant--Berserker Until end of turn, target creature loses all abilities and gets +1/+1 for each ability lost this way. That creature fights another target creature.
Unthinking Rage : Tribal Enchantment--Berserker Aura Enchant creature Flash Enchanted creature loses all abilities and gets +1/+1 for each ability lost this way. If enchanted creature would gain an ability, that creature gets +1/+1 until end of turn instead.

Not sure how feasible this is but I thought of it on a whim and wanted to share, so here's a loose cycle: Werecrash Watcher Creature - Treefolk Shaman Inner Animal - Beast (: If this card isn't a Beast, put a +1/+1 counter and a trample counter on this creature. It becomes an Beast in addition to its other types.)3/3 Weresand Slinker Creature - Goblin Warlock Inner Animal - Lizard (: If this card isn't a Lizard, put a +1/+1 counter and a haste counter on this creature. It becomes an Lizard in addition to its other types.)2/1 Werewing Weaver Creature - Veldaken Wizard Inner Animal - Bird (: If this card isn't a Bird, put a +1/+1 counter and a flying counter on this creature. It becomes an Bird in addition to its other types.)2/1 Wereclaw Devotee Creature - Human Cleric Inner Animal - Dog (: If this card isn't a Dog, put a +1/+1 counter and a first strike counter on this creature. It becomes a Dog in addition to its other types.)1/1 Werescale Herbalist Creature - Gorgon Druid Inner Animal - Snake (: If this card isn't a Snake, put a +1/+1 counter and a deathtouch counter on this creature. It becomes a Snake in addition to its other types.)1/3 Every ability is meant to very loosely reference a card like Pharika's Chosen, Zephyr Gull, and Warclamp Mastiff, or retain the spirit of a card while remaining easy to understand and in-flavor as a non-sentient race like Skitter of Lizards and Raging Goblin or Charging Badger (Sure, Badger is technically a non-sentient Animal type, but I felt like it wasn't general enough to work with a variety of flavor situations that Living Animal might appear on for a 'general' pitch). Inner Animal cards can also help more 'popular' tribes like Humans prop up newer or more obscure ones like Dogs that can use all the support they can get. For simplicity's sake I imagine a set only featuring one Inner Animal per color at most and the card referenced always being a very simple vanilla or near-vanilla card. While it doesn't fit the original cycle, this is the design that inspired them all, which is based on Grizzly Bears: Werebear Shaman Creature - Elf Shaman Inner Animal - Bear (: If this card isn't a Bear, put two +1/+1 counters on this creature. It becomes a Bear in addition to its other types.)2/2 And here's a fairly wild take on the idea: Wereroar Ascendant Creature - Goblin Wizard Whenever you would pay a cost for an Inner Animal ability for a creature not named Wereroar Ascendant for the first time each turn, you may pay instead. Inner Animal - Dragon (: If this card isn't a Dragon, put five +1/+1 counters and a flying counter on this creature. It becomes a Dragon in addition to its other types.)2/2 Thick-Skinned Goblin meets Shivan Dragon meets Inner Animal. (Again for practicality's sake we sacrifice a little 'faithfulness' to Shivan Dragon for the sake of being easier to comprehend and prevent memory issues.) EDIT: I just took a look at the entries before mine and it seems like we all had some kind of spiritual werebeast/animorphs idea in mind, lol.

{hydraheadhunter}That's an interesting and very versatile ability. I imagine it would get its own card frame to fit the Anima text in a nice way. A good way of using Tribal and making vehicloid enchantments. I think it would be enough to grant the abilites to one creature at a time. I think this would also make it a bit easier to process for both players. Opens up to a lot of ability granting shenanigans. The fact that they turn back to enchantments makes it less easy abusable. Two blue for flying, curious seems quite strong, yet seems reasonable enough as a rare.
{sdfkjgh}I think the Animalistic ability is very easy to understand and can lead to interesting plays. As I said it's kind of borderline silverborder. I mainly think this because a lot of keywords actually represent two abilities, that would make some unintuitive interactions. I like how you can play around with Animalistic with lords that add abilities and things like Muraganda Petroglyphs/ Ruxa. Irno seems quite overloaded. It can hit for 5 the turn it enters, kills efficiently and even stays untapped to block afterwards. Unthinking rage seems like a card that would raise a lot of rules questions. {ZephyrPhantom}I think this would work best as an ability word (a.k.a. pseudo). When you read Inner Animal you kind of know what it's doing, but have to get the exact parameters from the text. This works mostly like monstrous with an additional tribal component. Like monstrous, a set with Inner Animal would probably have to watch out to not distribute +1/+1 counters to cause confusion whether a creature already unleashed its inner animal.
THose are all very easy and straight forward abilites. I'm having a hard time decidig a winner.

Horshers - <cost>: <action> (Activate this ability in any zone, but only if this card changed zones two or more times this turn. You may reveal this from your hand.)The last part is there so you can proof that you just drew the card or got it into yur hand in some other means. Also you can activate Horshers from your hand this way. Note that Horshers allways works when you cast the spell, since it goes to the stack and then enters the battlefield. (Or gets counteresd and goes into your graveyard.) Safety Explosives Artifact Horshers — : CARDNAME deals 1 damage to any target. (Activate this ability in any zone, but only if this card changed zones two or more times this turn. You may reveal this from your hand.) Can be hard to trigger. But when you manage it, they totally go boom.Harbinger of Eternal Hunger Creature - Zombie Horshers — Pay 3 life: Put a +1/+1 counter on target creature. (Activate this ability in any zone, but only if this card changed zones two or more times this turn. You may reveal this from your hand.)Unearth 2/2 Hidden Memories Enchantment Sacrifice Hidden Memories: Destroy target artifact or enchantment. Scry 1. Horshers — : Choose target card in exile. At the beginning of the next end step, its controller shuffles it into their library. (Activate this ability in any zone, but only if this card changed zones two or more times this turn. You may reveal this from your hand.)Honor-Bound Scarscale Creature - Viashino Warrior First stike Horshers — Discard a card: Put Honor-Bound Scarscale onto the battlefield. (Activate this ability in any zone, but only if this card changed zones two or more times this turn. You may reveal this from your hand.)Evoke (You may cast this spell for its evoke cost. If you do, it’s sacrificed when it enters the battlefield.)4/1 Consumer of Peace Creature - Eldrazi Drone Devoid (This card has no color.)When Consumer of Peace dies, exile all graveyards. Horshers — ::C/W::: You gain 1 life. (Activate this ability in any zone, but only if this card changed zones two or more times this turn. You may reveal this from your hand.)2/1 Lost Wisdom Instant Horshers — Exile five cards from your graveyard: Target player mills two cards. (Activate this ability in any zone, but only if this card changed zones two or more times this turn. You may reveal this from your hand.)Cycling (, Discard this card: Draw a card.)Horshers! Sorcery Each player returns a permanent they control to its owner’s hand. Then each player discards a card. Then each player mills four cards. Then each player chooses two cards in their graveyard and exiles the rest.

Placeholding an idea, will design cards later.
Horshers <zone> (if this card would be sent to your <zone> from anywhere, you may instead remove it from the game and put a card you own with horshers from outside the game into your <zone>)
Kinda like ninjas, bait and switch style mechanic.

Well, if you're asking for strange... Horald of the Sunrise Creature - Fractal Cleric Hor (Whenever a creature is put into a graveyard, you may sacrifice this creature. If you do, it deals damage equal to its power to target opponent.)Whenever you add mana to your mana pool for the first time each turn, ~ gets +1/+0 and first strike until end of turn. 2/1 Shrald of the High Noon Creature - Fractal Cleric Sh (, Sacrifice a blocking creature: Add equal to the number of colors of the sacrificed creature.): Untap target creature. 0/6 Ersrald of the Twilight Creature - Fractal Cleric Ers - When ~ enters the battlefield, draw a card. If you control a creature with sh and a creature with hor, draw three cards instead. 1/1

A quick question, what does horshers stands for? Pretty sure it's just gibberish. Robo-Rosewater is pretty impressive as AI go, but it still doesn't really understand what it's outputting, so what it creates tend to be varying levels of nonsense.

No judge likes having to hand over a default win.
This was a tough Challenge, I know. Just be glad I didn't give you mointainspalk.
Flo00: Your take on clarifying the utterly incomprehensible is quite interesting, but most of the executions leave a little to be desired. Your first entry pulls a MaRo and removes the only piece of balancing rules text from an already broken card, and your second entry seems to be trying to make up for the first by overbalancing an already pretty weak ability. Your third entry seems like one of those Development cards that fills a hole with two or more unconnected abilities. I like that you included the ultimate signpost that does all the things, including sharing a name with the ability, but it and Honor-Bound Scarscale are the only two entries I'd feel comfortable printing as-is. All in all, a very uneven showing, even though it's closest to the source material.
ZephyrPhantom: Interesting idea, breaking up the gibberish into three separate abilities. The three entries all are designed to work together, which is nice, but they work so well together, it leaves me wanting to see more cards. Show me the way to go homeother cards that have any of these three abilities, let me see if they work as well together.
@ymonrah: Interesting idea, abandoning the source material for another language. Your entries fit very nicely for your chosen language, but they almost completely ignore the given prompt.
See, I was gonna strikethrough this link as a joke, but it actually looks like I AM gonna hafta give the win to the girl with the biggest tits.
Teferi: Stop that! It's insensitive!
Oh, I don't know, she seems pretty responsive to me...
Teferi: Leave that Welsh tart alone!
But I don't really want to...
Ral: GET ON WITH IT!!!
Oh, fine! Flo00, since you stayed the closest to the source material, you get the win, even though your entries were so uneven.

Tbh the high difficulty of just figuring out what to do with the keyword left me worn out after the first three cards. It really shows how many keywords rely on having some already known meaning in regular language to make them easier to figure out, I guess. If this wasn't a last minute entry I'd probably have have made some kind of removal Ers spell that increases its 'range' if Ers is active like Mythos of Nethroi, a Hors cycle that promoted attacking in multiple colors (maybe Naya?), and a few more Sh aristocrat cards and payoffs.

Norin, Fearless Explorer
Legendary Creature - Human Coward Reliant (You cannot summon this creature unless you control your commander. If this is your commander, it has Partner, and you must have two commanders.)
Equip costs you pay cost less when targeting ~.
-------
"I'm not going in there alone."
2/1
(Creatures with "Reliant on" would be summonable only when you control a specific commander with Partner.)
