Badonkadonk Implants Artifact--Equipment Equipped creature gets -X/+Y, where X is its power and Y is its power plus its toughness. Equipped creature has trample and vivacious. (A creature with vivacious assigns combat damage equal to its toughness rather than its power.) When equipped creature dies, you may attach Badonkadonk Implants to target creature you control. Equip

I played around with different triggers but the amount of life gained can get tricky. So I ended up with an extort variant.

Vivacious creatures are able to tap twice on your turn. This can either be used as a tweak of vigilance or with activated abilities with . Here are, as usual, two cards with the ability and one card that plays well with the mechanic.

Vivacious is a Bant-colored mechanic formatted as "COST--Vivacious X. (If this isn't a creature, put X +1/+1 counters on it and it becomes a 0/0 Avatar creature in addition to its other types.)" I really like enchantments, and I think that enchantment creatures still have a lot of worthwhile design space WOTC hasn't covered yet. Flavorfully, these are enchantments--nonliving things, ideas--that come to life through magical means, such as through the heightened emotions that people instill in them. Vivacious enchantments want to be alive. They're fascinated by the world, and this curiosity grants them power. Mechanically, vivacious enchantments act as lords for other enchantments and for enchantment creatures. They fit perfectly into an otherwise normal Enchantress deck.
Vivacious could conceivably exist in red and black as well, but that's more the space of Modern Horizons-type "this is a mechanic in a color we've never seen before and aren't super likely to see again" a la Scale Up (overload in green).
I've built the following vertical cycle for vivacious: Enchantment Enchantments you control have hexproof from their colors. : Vivacious 3. (If this isn’t a creature, put three +1/+1 counters on it and it becomes a 0/0 Avatar creature in addition to its other types.)Enchantment Enchantment
Enchantments you control have exalted. Enchantment creatures you control have vigilance. : Vivacious X. (If this isn’t a creature, put X +1/+1 counters on it and it becomes a 0/0 Avatar creature in addition to its other types.)Enchantment Flash You may cast enchantment spells as though they had flash. Enchantment creatures you control have flying. , : Create a X/X green, white, and blue Avatar enchantment creature token. Activate this ability only if Glorious Legacy is a creature.

Brave (Whenever this is dealt X damage for the first time in a turn) ... Have to make it distinctly different than Enrage in order for this to work, so I may end up throwing this iteration out. Stalwart Recruit Creature - Human Soldier Brave 1 - Whenever ~ is dealt 1 damage for the first time in a turn, it gets +1/+1 until end of turn. “It’s easy to face an enemy you know you can defeat, but to hold the line against a foe that knows not when to stop... that takes bravery.” - Captain Renauld, 26th Legion.1/2 Advance Guard Creature - Human Soldier Haste Brave 2 - Whenever ~ is dealt 2 damage for the first time in a turn, it deals 2 damage to target creature an opponent controls. 3/2 Wyxis, Hero of Rivala Legendary Creature - Human Druid When ~ enters the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on each of up to two target creatures. Brave 2 - Whenever ~ is dealt 2 damage for the first time in a turn, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature. 3/4 Courage of the Hero Instant Creatures you control get +1/+1 and gain lifelink, double strike, and trample. Until end of turn, whenever a creature you control attacks, put a +1/+1 counter on it. You gain 1 life. ~ Hero deals 1 damage to target creature.

Tesagk I like the idea of "When you take a hit and keep going" you're brave. The specifics of only triggering on non-lethel damage and usually after combat damage doesn't seem as useful. sdfkjgh Going up against greater power seems brave to me. Great toughness, not quite as much. And mixing it with effects that then modify power and toughness seems less brave. =) gateways7 I become brave? Oh, I see why... I don't have much left for blocking. The timing on the ability might be confusing too. If I attach with a bear, then cast Front-Line Champion I'm not brave when it enters the battlefield, because it only triggers when I go all in. But I like the flavor. augur "fewer creatures" not less. This one is tricky too. I might have a hand full of brave creatures, but I don't want to cast them so that I stay under their army size. {winner} gateways7 The overall idea of being brave enough to send everything spoke to me. =)

Astral (When this creature enters the battlefield, create a token that’s a copy of it except it’s an enchantment. It's not a creature.)
I just really like enchantments, okay? I like non-Aura enchantment-creature synergies. Astral is a keyword that can appear in any color, but primarily white, black, and blue--the colors most, I would argue, spiritually attuned. Flavorfully, it's supposed to represent someone of considerable magical power separating part their consciousness into an immaterial form, a la Jace's Projection.
Hopefully I will be able to update these with art soon, but we'll see.
Devkarin Delver Creature -- Zombie Elf Wizard Astral (When this creature enters the battlefield, create a token that’s a copy of it except it’s an enchantment. It's not a creature.) When Devkarin Delver is put into your graveyard from the battlefield, you gain 3 life.
1/2 Creature -- Dwarf Cleric Astral (When this creature enters the battlefield, create a token that’s a copy of it except it’s an enchantment. It's not a creature.) Hexproof Exalted 4/2
Creature -- Human Wizard Astral At the beginning of your end step, target opponent loses life equal to the number of enchantments you control. 2/2
Creature -- Cat Demon Delve Astral Whenever a creature dies, target player puts the top two cards of their library into their graveyard and you gain 2 life. 3/7

Astral [cost] (You may exile this card for [cost], if you do it becomes Astral.) So my current thinking is that Astral cards will somehow be exceptional in nature. As a result they would only be found at rare or mythic. These would basically be along the lines of Planeswalker emblems... without the Planeswalker. Since interaction with them would be limited, their effects would also need to be likewise limited. Konda, King of Beasts Legendary Creature - Lion Astral (You may exile this card for , if you do it becomes Astral.)Double strike, trample When ~ enters the battlefield, creatures you control get +4/+2 and gain first strike, lifelink, and trample until end of turn. If ~ is Astral, creatures you control have first strike, lifelink, and trample. 6/4 Stone of the Heavens Legendary Artifact - Temple Artifacts and enchantments you control gain, " , : Draw a card." Astral effects are treated as if they had no effect instead. "When the heavens shout upon you, remember that you can shout back." - Priest of H'elkithSwarsi, the Rope of Night Legendary Creature - Snake Flash Astral (You may exile this card for , if you do it becomes Astral.)Deathtouch, hexproof At the beginning of your upkeep, if ~ is Interstellar, create a 1/1 black Snake creature with deathtouch. 4/3 Temple of the Dawn Enchantment - Temple Astral (You may exile this card for , if you do it becomes Astral.)Whenever a creature you control with mana cost 2 or less dies, return it to the battlefield at the beginning of the next end step with all counters it had before it died. Put a +1/+1 counter on it. This effect persists even if ~ is Astral. If you control more than one Temple of the Dawn or have more than one Astral Temple of the Dawns, the creature returns with that many +1/+1 counters on it.

I could use some help with templating I'm not sure the Temple of the Dawn fully meets what you're trying to do. Granting an ability to a creature after it dies and comes back isn't really templated and might not be possible in the current rules since they come back as new objects. Even with your template suggestions? Also, it was my understanding that keywords could be referenced? Hence my use of Astral. But I can just use Astral counters if they can't.

Also, it was my understanding that keywords could be referenced? Hence my use of Astral. But I can just use Astral counters if they can't. The issue is that Astral now means two different things. For example, Monstrosity makes a creature Monstrous. In the same vein, Astralinate could make something Astral. Counters work just fine though

I decided to go with my initial design concept, even though it's kind of impossible to really find proper artwork to do the cards justice in a way I had in mind (which then additionally made me rather lazy in terms of names and flavor text). But oh well, hope you'll like the concept nethertheless
