You can evoke events centering around individual people without doing this frankly very awkward mess of creating one token and marking its growth with two different counter types: see Chainer's Torment, Triumph of Gerrard and The Eldest Reborn for examples of this. My suggestion would be to focus more broadly on the events that occur to these protagonists and convey them through more general effects.

My suggestion would be to focus more broadly on the events that occur to these protagonists and convey them through more general effects. I still like the idea of interaction with another permanent, but this set has enough mechanics that adding that in would feel clunky. So I've shifted a little bit and tried to give a similar feel to each's original intent. Of course, it's been awhile since I'd shared those. Nevertheless, I've updated with the new ones.
