I would like to place a card field: that is type: color BUT I would like that field not to visibly show on the card (especially on the exports) as it is a color mostly used in a recolor_image script.
I have tried doing a double negation "combine" but even though the math works on this it fails in actuality (I think I forgot to take into account the lower 0 boundary effects), I have also made a completely black mask but this makes the field un-clickable.
The only thing I have found to work to date is to do a round-about and create a styling field instead. If anyone has another trick for this I would greatly appreciate the help.

Are you able to 'hide' it under an uneditable image with a greater z-index like a card border? Otherwise I'd go for the style tab or a choice field with preset options.

I'd probably make pre-recolored versions of the image in question, go for a choice images field and not bother with the hidden field at all.

Thank you both for your replies. As isn't unusual I never considered the easiest solution of simply hiding the field underneath another image. This works excellent.
