Likewise, I didn't say that it was outright busted; I pointed out a situation in which it morphs from "good" to "potentially a serious balancing issue".
You should not design cards in a vaccuum; you need to take into account the existing cardpool (since for the most part that is what you're going to end up playtesting against) and playtest in Modern, at the most wide-ranging.

Canterbury Egg,
Side questions. The symbol you are using for the influence counters. How is that incorporated into the template you are using, is it an existing symbol, did you add it to the symbol-font file or is it something else, and which template did you use.
I ask because I'm trying to work on creating user-input symbols for the cards and rather than recreate it I'll look at the wheel someone else has already made.
Thanks in advance.

Well, yeah - any mechanic needs to be evaluated based on the context of the environment surrounding it. That being said, the Inexorable Tide influence deck doesn't really become much of a nightmare, given the way in which I've balanced the cards with the mechanic. And again, the issue with previous "player counter" mechanics has NOT been the ways in which you can "cheat" on them. imp, here's a brief spoiler that might assuage some concerns (these were already in the set file): As to the Influence question, it's included in symbol-font for the mse-symbols-small file. I added it myself, but once this releases I'll prod Cajun to add it to his default template package. If you're looking to add symbols of your own, it's as easy as adding the symbol to the data folder and adding a brief entry detailing the symbol filename and code into the symbol-font file.

I'll finish off non-story spoilers with allied-color archetypes. Hopefully I'll have the energy to write some sort of story pieces for this set, but if not at least the file will be released...!

Warclan Lieutenant and Murk Maiden are both C/C2 C/C2 2/2's that grant their tribe +1/+1 is this intentional?

It is intentional, yeah. I'm taking some inspiration from Wizened Cenn-esques. It's possible they're too versatile being hybrid. Only time will tell! Anyways, interest in Ghariv has sufficiently petered off, so here's a Set FileIn order to see Influence symbols and not a lil N in a circle, you'll need the Influence icon and the symbol-font file. Drop these in magic-mana-small.mse-symbol-font and you're good to go!
