Welcome to the Deckbuilders' Challenge originally created by sdfkjgh! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a deck along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of every two weeks, a winner will be determined by forum poll, and the winner decides the challenge for the next fortnight's Contest! Here we go, competitors: our fifty-sixth challenge!

And the challenge issued by our winner was... Get four random numbers: - One between 1 and 6, representing one of the following queries:
- name:
- oracle:
- type:
- flavor:
- artist:
- lore:
- One between 1 and 26, representing a letter in the alphabeth.
- One between 1 and 14.
- Either a 0 or a 1.
Open Scryfall, type your query and your letter (no space after the colon) and search. Then sort your result by the criteria indicated by your third number and change "Auto" to Asc if you got a 0 and Desc if you got a 1. Now make a Sealed deck out of the first 60 cards you get! (plus basic lands) (It will be exactly the entire first page if you display as images only.) And now, time to begin the challenge! Best of luck, competitors! |

So I went to Scryfall and searched for artist:k, then let the search results be sorted by Set/Number and Desc. My header now looks like this..  ..and this is the batch of cards I have to work with

I got 4-14-9-0, which results in this. Sort by mana cost in ascending order. Great. Mostly lands. Serves me right for coming up with a rediculous challenge like this. At least all my cards have a flavor text. 
Ardenvale "Army"The battle plan is to get the castle and then slowly create an army. There are a few tools here to (hopefully) stop my opponent from running me over. And also a bunch of deck-thinning land searchers and bit of card draw. Note that I also have Advantageous Proclamation and Backup Plan to maximize my chances for the Castle. The backup plan is to just get a lot of drinks using Academy Ruins and Ashnod's Coupon. Big thanks to Daij_Djan for giving the challenge a propper typesetting. I was definitely too tired for it when I wrote it. |

At least all my cards have a flavour text. Yeah, let's be realistic: Maybe allow for a reroll when you get some completely unusable stuff like this?
Btw, I have one question at you as well: My list contains some Alchemy-only rebalances, which I refuse to acknowledge the existence off, so how may I treat them? Just ignore them, or may I consider them being their "normal" counterpart? This would give me five two-offs, though..

Just be happy you didn't get prices sorted in ascending order. That would give you a whole page of Arena rebalancing. If you get art cards, you can skip those. |

Absolutely awful deck. I did what I could, but the low amount of creatures and high amount of lands/ramp just doesn't help. Strongest creatures available? Solemn Simulacrum and Eternal Witness... You're more likely to kill yourself with your lands than that your opponent gets to kill you.

My rolls were 2: oracle 15: O 5: color 0: ascending And here are the cards I got linkSorting by color made it a lot easier to make a somewhat functional deck and oracle O gave me a lot of outlast, so I have a decent white creatures and +1/+1 counters deck. Here is the deck. |
