Welcome to the Deckbuilders' Challenge originally created by sdfkjgh! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a deck along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! At the end of every two weeks, a winner will be determined by forum poll, and the winner decides the challenge for the next fortnight's Contest!
Here we go, competitors: our fifty-second challenge!
Design a deck (for a format of your choice) with a color identity equal to your forum color alignment!
So in my case, for example, I'd need to design a Bant-colored deck. No color more, no less.
Please provide a decklist using deckstats, tappedout or similar. Feel free to add some comments as they will be included in the final poll. Please provide a deck name as well as choose a card to represent your deck in the poll.
A 5-color midrange deck that attempts to play lots of good value midrange spells off its mono- lands to beat down the opponent.
That's right, we don't have a single color producing source in this deck. We instead access colored effects by playing the Shadowmoor monohybrid cards such as Tower Above and Advice from the Fae, and do so in a timely manner by packing it into an Eldrazi Stompy package with cards like Spatial Contortion and Warping Wail to protect ourselves early game in case our land drops aren't coming out as intended.
This is what happens when you push the theme of a Perrie, the Pulverizer Commander deck a bit too far – you end up with 60 (!) unique types of counters.
Only overlap is due to a small number of cards creating several types of ability counters, but each of of those offers something completely unique to it as well. Other than that, there is no direct overlap among the counter types.
