Neat! Glad you liked it. There aren't any equipment that give both double strike and an increase to power, so balancing it all was sort of fiddly.
The next challenge is:
X Marks the Spot! Create a card with X either in its cost or text box. 4 R&D Cards.

Two members of one of the best tribes in Magic this week. Success. Flo00: I really like the idea of a modular hydra and the way Seeker of Perfection evokes the monstrous mechanic. In Commander, it would play nicely with all your Life's Legacys and Momentous Falls, and the modular death trigger compliments the +1/+1 counter support you'd probably already be playing in a green artifact deck. Stopping opponents from transforming it X = 0 and immediately killing it is also smart. Talking people into giving you a big creature is a little harder than other collaborative cards, though, and people might know better. Overall pretty neat, balanced well, and a lot of ways to attack it while deckbuilding. 4.5/5. Adelyn: What immediately sticks out to me about Frostbite Hydra is the fact that you're setting two disconnected variables when you cast it. The number of +1/+1 counters on it can change while it's already on the battlefield, but its absorb value doesn't, which is a memory issue waiting to happen. Also on the subject of absorb, damage prevention to a single creature is exclusively in white, and the ability to cast Frostbite Hydra without white mana feels strange. Green's ability to prevent combat damage entirely makes it feasible, but green usually protects creatures by granting hexproof or increasing toughness. It's also just...not especially exciting. It feels like a rare from an Intro Pack, where it might end a lower-powered game of Magic but it's not complex enough to build around. However, I'm willing to concede that your hand didn't do you any favors. 3/5. Flo00 wins! Thank you both for entering.

Thanks for the win @fabuloussunbro ! Glad you like it Next: Special Rule: Aside from static abilities, your card can only have keywords. (So no activated or triggered abilities aside from keywords.) Static abilities with in-built triggers are ok.

Using Beast and Defender: Stamping Plowbeast Creature ― Beast Defender As long as you control another creature with power 5 or greater, Stamping Plowbeast has "Other attacking creatures you control have power and toughness 5/5." 3/5 "It beat out the rhythm of its newly unyoked herd on the jungle floors, and yearlings tromped over trees like their fully grown kin. Drumhunters flocked to it to mimic its song."A static ability that grants another static ability, and a keyworded static ability on top of that. The ability to set other creatures' power and toughness so high is behind a pretty significant requirement to activate, but the payoff could be huge. You could ramp into Stamping Plowbeast with mana dorks or create tokens after it comes down to maximize the additional stats it's giving, but you've still got to do extra work in going tall that's counterintuitive to that plan. Oh. I guess I should judge this... {fabuloussunbro}This looks like it causes a lot of confusion. Example: I control Stamping Plowbeast, a 5/5 Giant and a 1/1 Elf. Both of them attack, thus the Elf becomes 5/5. My opponent sends the Giant on a Path to Exile. What happens to the Elf? Will it stay 5/5 since it already has power 5 to keep the Plowbeast's ability? Maybe make it a trigger on one or more creatures attacking? Something like "Whenever one or more creatures you control attack, if you control a creature with power 5 or more, those creatures base power and toughness become 5/5." {Xenagos}Reminds me of Sylvan Caryatid. Delirium + Dredge is a bomb combination. I guess it's ok on this on since the card itself isn't super strong, yet still very playable. {Daij_Djan}That's ... um... wow. I guess it plays good if you have a combination of big ones and Scions? It's ok, you don't have ot be sorry.

Judging: {Spoiler} Flo00 : Nice job, well designed. Good limited card that offers a variety of options, but doesn't get too out of control. Also on point with the flavor of the plane. @fabuloussunbro : Is the last option supposed to say "total cmc 10 or more" like combined? or "each"? or "target"? Not sure if I want to be returning cards or exiling them with the strategy this card was designed for, but in terms of power level it is fine. somerandomtom : Nice card, nice effects, well balanced. I like that if I pay entwine I get three hasty goblins with menace, but I also feel like the 3/3 is just standing there doing nothing. I guess blocking for next turn. {Spoiler}Flo00

Xenagos Yes, the last mode should've said 'total converted mana cost'. I really beefed it on that whole entry, between mistakes in wording and stretching R&D cards. Using First Strike, Flashback, White, White and Black: Forsaken Sigil Instant Target creature gets +2/+2 and gains protection from creatures until end of turn. If you cast this spell from your graveyard, that creature also gains first strike and lifelink until end of turn. Flashback — WB, Tap an untapped white creature you control. Color identity is white and black, but it still explicitly references white creatures. That counts, right? The initial casting is supposed to represent a soldier turning their back on the hierarchy of Bant after being exposed to black mana, and the flashback represents the consequence of other soldiers turning on each other for their own benefit.
