Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! damagicgeek : You could have the exile be a choice between the top two or three cards instead:
Constellation--Whenever ~ or another enchantment enters the battlefield under your control, look at the top two {or three} cards of your library, exile one of them face down, and put the {other/rest} on the top of your library{ in a random order}. The card you exiled this way becomes foretold. <etc. etc.>
Orion Rings : Would you accept a card that causes all your other spells to cost more? Because I just came up with an interesting design...
It's an Older Entry, But It Still Checks Out:
Aggregate Gearhulk  Artifact Creature--Construct  Affinity for nonland permanents (This spell costs  less to cast for each nonland permanent you control.)
Spend only mana produced by lands to cast Aggregate Gearhulk. 10/10 |

damagicgeek As far as I understand the challenge, your card should have a way to make itself cheaper of more expensive. I might be wrong though. Vunik Sounds indeed interesting. And a bit dangerous. There are some one mana spells doing this exclusively for creatures or sorceries. ANd in the current spoilers we got Invoke Calamity, which does a similar thing. So maybe it's ok that way? Or maybe it should be restricted to certain card types. inverness Each player discards their hand ... BinaryBolas the official way of wording this is mana value less than or equal; which I agree is clunkier than your text. I like how you made an additional cost to escape that makes the card harder to use.

I actually designed this card ages ago, before the change in wording was made, and I didn't realize I was still using the old wording. Thanks for catching that! |
