vizionarius Having a destruction effect on + is kinda strong -- Take in consideration that there are only 2 pw's that have simmular effect on + nicol bolas planeswalker who is a leauge of its own garruk apex predator who just destroys planeswalkers bouth of them have faar deeper investment costs than ya pw. Good point. Adjusted to hopefully offset it from being too strong. Likely won't make any more changes after this to this particular design.

No idea if this should cost more on the front end, but here's my entry.
Bloodfire Enchantment You can't gain life. : ~ deals 1 damage to you and 1 damage to any other target. Every drop a cataclysm.

Vunik Can't gain Vs zero gain. don't know which one fits better. i guess can't gain is the more modern approach -- but, well, i like t good old vortex :-) power level wise -- who cares if i can't gain life if i can ping every creature out of the orbit or ping for game. needs imo some power level fine tuning (sorcery speed, cmc3, ...) whatever fits the mood. bastardneko why should any opponent ever turn it off? there is no insentive in doing so. and in multi-head-games -- i don't see any intention for ya teammate to turn it off (depending on the rule set -- ya both may also be considdered as one player so he can't turn it off) and the main issue i have with it still remains: a card that can turn off one of it's downsides feels stange. you wonna play cards like this because the good overwhelms the bad -- and not because ya can just turn off the bad.

Back from holiday things, realized I never actually got around to submitting my entry, whoops!
Unwavering Seraphim Creature - Angel (4/4) Flying, lifelink, vigilance, first strike When you cast a nonwhite spell, exile Unwavering Seraphim
"You lose this thing" isn't the biggest downside, I will admit, but it does put some interesting demands on deckbuilding.

Daij_Djan ward 5 is kinda a lot -- would make it 3, would still be good. otherwise looks kinda weak on the upside tho. i assume that this lady reduces the costs by aprox. 2 each cast increasing the non-cost by 5 seams kinda strange in comparison. First of all: Big thanks for the feedback Generally speaking you're not wrong - here's my thought process behind the design. First of all, I know Ward is basically Hexproof - however it was chosen for the same reason Octavia has Ward . As far as the card's power level is concerned - while the challenge mentiones Legacy at one point, it doesn't directly ask us for that specific format. Sylene would indeed not really work well in competative formats but is rather aimed at Commander - where she'd be leading a deck fuill of 3+ colored creatures..
All that aside, I'm still debating with myself to potentially switch to my other design previously mentioned and now with render:
