I'm not a fan of draft-matters, so I don't really know what is or isn't good design for this format. But, I'll submit something anyway.
Bitter Martyr A black and a white Creature - Human Cleric Rare
Remove this card from the draft: Return another card removed from the draft to your card pool (That card was still removed from the draft.) It might be my fate to sacrifice myself for the greater good, but that doesn't mean I need to fall on my sword while smiling.

Works with creatures, artifacts, you can even turn this into a mana rock or use loyalty abilities of planeswalkers. Seems fun. If you somehow get an untap symbol in a chaos draft, that could be fun.

Probably too strong, but the idea is to take a way a little bit of the fiddly bits from the draft matters cards and keeping it paper playable. At the very least other players will know if you have this card in your deck and its capable of its function. This would be part of a cycle, ideally this card would not be able to commodify and commodify would be an effect on much weaker and simpler cards that do not take advantage of the mechanic at all. But to show of the mechanic this had to be done. Kobold Ascendent Creature - Kobold Shaman When you draft this, you may commodify. (Reveal this and remove a card from your card pool face up.) When ~ attacks and is not blocked, you may pay and exile it. If you do, put a dragon creature card you commodified onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. 2/2

Had trouble coming up with a concept for this week's challenge. When in doubt, design a common.
Even though it has no mechanical effect on the draft, it alters how the players draft cards because they know who is taking copies of this card. This card's drawback is that it gives away information. Hopefully this is an effect in line with black's take on drawbacks.

{Text} Cogwork Auctioneer Artifact Creature - Construct Draft Cogwork Auctioneer face up. Rather than draft a card, you may turn Cogwork Auctioneer face down and reveal your current booster pack to the next player in draft order. That player may draft a card from it. If they do, draft an additional card from your next booster pack this round. Otherwise, add a booster pack to the draft. 3/3

@ hydraheadhunter : Thanks for the heads-up. This indeed wasn't intentional, so I added the oh so important little missing "you" to the wording
This thread is now closed, the poll can be found here. And here's the next challenge!
