"I see. Had to be sure. As for your lead, I can't say I've heard of it, but I am rather handy at finding information. This sphinx is just rather elusive. What is this Spark Labs?" Scrap Repurposer Artifact Creature - Construct Artificer Whenever an artifact you control is put into the graveyard from the battlefield, you may exile it. If you do, create a 1/1 blue Thopter artifact creature token with flying. You'd be surprised what you can make out of what people throw away with a little creativity.2 / 1 "Spark Labs is my home station, where I go for new weapons, or repairs following fights. As you may be able to see, I am in need of some minor repairs now." But A Scratch Instant Until end of turn, if target creature would be dealt damage, put a -1/-1 counter on that creature instead. Scrap Repurposer - looks good 9/10
"Is it on this plane? Or is it... what did you call it again, Elsewhere? And if its just for repair, I may be able to help you out myself. Not quite the same metal I'm used to working with, but I've done a bit of artificing in my past and I'm sure I could find my way around, at least enough for minor repairs." She thinks for a moment. "Well, I don't have anything set up right now, but if I find a space to use, I could get set up fairly quickly." Automated Workshop Artifact , : Put a +1/+1 counter on target artifact creature. Remove a +1/+1 counter from an artifact creature you control: Put a +1/+1 counter on target artifact creature. Making parts for bots is easy if you make bots to make the parts. But A Scratch: Not quite sure how this responds, but eh. I like how it enables ping damage more than larger sums, but pinging a creature multiple times isnt common, so this isn't easy to abuse, which is a positive. I think it could get away with being creatures you control, probably for one more mana, and be a lot more useful, though maybe too useful? Very interesting design nonetheless. 10/10.

The being that Rel comes across seems to be made of some form of aethersteel. He had grown accustomed to the material's everpresent nature on Daira, which meant that he could also certainly tell that it was not the metal it seemed like. In either case, a human made of the stuff drew attention, and Rel needed people that might know something.--The man that approaches is a broad man wearing a brown jacket with many pockets and cargo pants. On his arm is a device that looks like a bracer was assigned clock duty, and on his waist, a vaguely pistol-shaped object is holstered on a belt."Hello there," Rel greets the filigree woman. "Might you know where I could obtain a weapon for self-defense? I've heard that this place is dangerous, and without much magic to protect myself, I find that it would be unwise to stay here long without one."Resonance Coil Artifact Aethercast -- Resonance Coil enters the battlefield with a chroma counter on it if was spent to cast it. : Add . If Resonance Coil has a chroma counter on it, add one mana of any color instead. I offer you this mana rock. You can break it or accept it, it's up to you.

Is it something you can repair yourself, given the right tools? I might be able to assist with that, unless those kinds of tools are only available in Spark Labs. If you are unable to repair yourself, surely whoever created you accounted for that somehow, right?" "Moving on, have you tried searching for information on this Nulien? I've never heard of such a plane. Is it even a full plane? I know there exist minor or demiplanes." Such as the Metal Island Sharuum told me of. However, entities capable of such feats as creating these tend to be overwhelmingly powerful so caution is advised, or so she would tell me. She also mentioned how Crucius may have been seeking shelter and how he plausibly could have been or became powerful enough since to accomplish such a feat, so it still worth investigating... carefully. Pulse Nullifier Artifact , , Return ~ and two other artifacts you control to their owners' hands: Counter target spell or ability that targets you or another artifact you control. Absorbing the power from devices around it, it can emit a large wave of disruptive aether. Diagnostic Failure: Love the flavor. However, this seems extremely powerful for an uncommon at its cost. One red mana keeps something locked down while also burning out your opponent. Sure, you're down a mana, but they're down a whole card, and its not even you being locked into just one target like a pacifism effect. Maybe if the AA cost a bit more? Otherwise, I like it. 7/10.

It could wreak all kinds of havoc in the wrong hands. Reverse Engineer Artifact Creature - Human Wizard When ~ enters the battlefield, exile another target artifact until ~ leaves the battlefield. You may cast that card for as long as it remains exiled, and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any type to cast that spell. 1 / 2 (I know its a canon name, but Im stealing it, its funnier as a pun anyways)Information Relay: I like the idea a lot, cost reducers are always fun. That said, I don't know if it was intended but the activated of this is probably worth more than the static as a way to enable graveyard shenanigans at will. A bit too strong for doing that as well as being a cost reducer. 8/10. "Oh, you're from a plane outside the Network? Yeah, the Technocracy has a communication network that covers basically everywhere in their influence, including the whole Empire. Some time ago some prodigy named Seiva Zeni discovered that you can use something called an ARF Tunnel and it makes sending information around really easy."Reverse Engineer makes enough sense, yoink a thing in blue, makes you have to cast it. I like it. 10/10 Aether Resonator Artifact At the beginning of your upkeep, put a charge counter on Aether Resonator and it deals 1 damage to you. : Remove X charge counters from Aether Resonator: Add an amount of equal to the number of charge counters removed this way. "What is the... Tech-noc-ra-cy? Is that some kind of interplanar government? And this tunnel you speak of, it allows cross-planar communication? That is a dangerous and powerful technology. Be careful not to let that fall into the wrong hands. As for the Network, unless things have changed drastically in the time I've been gone, Alara has had none of these advancements, much less Esper." Overcharger Artifact If an artifact would deal damage to your opponent, it deals that much damage plus one instead. , : ~ deals 1 damage to each player. If it just started throwing sparks, you haven't turned it up enough.
Aether Resonator: I like it. I feel it could probably cost 2 and enter with a counter to be safer. This allowing you to skip 2 drops is a bit dangerous. Balanced by hurting you, life is a resource, but prevents you from running too many, as 2+ will kill you quick. 8/10.

"I can assure you, I mean you no harm. That said, no offense to someone looking out for themselves. Is it something you can repair yourself, given the right tools? I might be able to assist with that, unless those kinds of tools are only available in Spark Labs. If you are unable to repair yourself, surely whoever created you accounted for that somehow, right?" Such as the Metal Island Sharuum told me of. However, entities capable of such feats as creating these tend to be overwhelmingly powerful so caution is advised, or so she would tell me. "I have not heard of demiplanes, but as I understand Nulien is a small plane, but very technologically advanced. I was built to defend it from the creatures of Elsewhere that torment it."
She stays quiet for a long moment.

Balanced. 10/10. Rel spins the blade into his hand and readies himself to make a strike against the construct. He wields it like he would wield any other one-edged knife, which means he doesn't properly account for the weight at first and expects it to be balanced closer to the middle than it actually is, but it doesn't take long to adapt to it.Once he's convinced he knows what he's doing, Rel leaves Neeyo to her business, but not before mentioning where he's camping in case Neeyo wanted to stop by.(I have no idea how to portray this probably three-strike duel, so it seems reasonable to me that Rel probably finishes up pretty quickly. He's got other things to do now that he's definitely safe.) Advanced Sparrer acting as a 2/1 on defense means it's a lot more powerful than the many 2/1s that only have first strike on attack, but it's still a 3-mana 2/1. Seems alright, probably. 8/10

"You know there's no way it was unintentional that you got put out here. There had to be a reason. Did they leave any information, perhaps?" Animated Scrapyard Artifact Creature - Construct Horror You may cast ~ from the graveyard. Whenever ~ enters the battlefield, exile all cards from all graveyards. Once per turn, you may cast an artifact card exiled with ~ by sacrificing an artifact in addition to paying its other costs. 2 / 3 Run Out The Clock: Love the name, love the reference in the card. That said, this feels bad most of the time. At x=1, its 2 mana for mill 2. At 2, its mill 4 for 3. And 12 is just an insane mark to hit. I suppose it isn't really for mill decks though, and rather for ramp decks, which is weird, but a very interesting wincon. 8/10.

Stoic Guardian Artifact Creature - Gargoyle Defender, flying Whenever ~ is dealt damage, you may pay . If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on it. 0/3 Alliance Scout: Not a whole lot to say. Decent creature, Ally typing is interesting. 9/10.

"Not looking for you, so much as I had simply hoped to run into you. I am Atlani Swiftblade. Arcanis mentioned that you were interested in his "alliance" idea. He and I discussed how best to draw more people into that alliance, and thought it would be a good idea to determine your reasoning for joining. So far it seems we all have specific goals that are rather difficult to achieve alone."For Darker Reasons Instant Choose two: - Counter target spell.
- Create a copy of target instant or sorcery spell. You may choose new targets for the copy.
- Create a 2/2 black Zombie creature token.
- Draw a card.

"Well, that's reinsuring. You seemed to be a worthy foe if you were so inclined. Had me worried." Neeyo chuckled a bit, almost relieved. Clear in her tone, Neeyo's words became more deliberate. "As for the alliance, my purposes are tame. Simply put, unless my goals directly oppose the alliance's, which I do not foresee, it is easier to get things done when you are in cooperation with those around you. As for my goals, it is also as simple as searching for someone. Past that, its up to my employer. I really don't know what she has in plan, but she has been of one mind for a long time.""Speaking of which, you haven't happened upon a sphinx planeswalker in your travels, have you?" Ethersworn Wardmage Artifact Creature - Human Artificer Flash Whenever ~ enters the battlefield, counter each spell targeting an artifact or artifact spell you control unless it's controller pays . Whenever an artifact or artifact spell you control becomes the target of a spell or ability an opponent controls, counter it unless its controller pays . 1 / 3 For Darker Reasons: I like it! That said, with the ordering on the modes, without some more advanced knowledge, someone may be unaware you can't copy the same spell you counter. Or at least, I don't think you can, as it won't be on the stack when the second mode resolves. I could be wrong, but even then my point stands that it isn't clear. Other thing of note, the black and zombie feel tacked on without flavor to tie it in, but that's an issue of it being contextless, I assume. 8/10
