Welcome to the Card of the Week Contest! To participate in this Contest you'll have to design a card along the contest guidelines and throw it into the arena with other competitors' entries! With school years coming to a close, and the recent release of Strixhaven, I figure it's a great time for a school-themed challenge. Make a card that ties into school/education!

As someone who has a habit of choosing research projects that turn out to be startling obscure, I thought that this would be a good fit. Plus, I'm a big fan of the unused scroll mechanic from Strixhaven.
Hunt for Sources   Instant  Exile an instant or sorcery card from your graveyard, then create a scroll of that card. (A scroll is an artifact token. It can be sacrificed to cast a copy of the chosen card.) Draw a card. “Ooh, maybe a paper on magical jellyfish?” She paused, then shook her head. “No, where would I even start with that?” |

Oggyar Fire Magic  Legendary Enchantment – Study  At the beginning of your end step, if a source you control dealt damage to an opponent put an experience counter on this. Level 0+ Red instant and sorceries you control can not be countered. Level 2+ At the beginning of your upkeep, discard your hand. Then draw a card. Level 4+ When ever you discard a card, this does 1 damage to each opponent and planeswalker they control. The name is the name of the school of magic mentioned in Heated Debate. The card would use a very lightly modified 4 ability planeswalker frame, but if I were to render it it would use the normal one. |

I hope this counts.  Tome of Forbidden Knowledge  Artifact  ,  : Reveal four cards with different names from ourside the game that don’t have the same name as a card you own in exile. If you do, an opponent chooses one of them. Put the chosen card into your hand and exile the rest. |

Imho the fact that it also draws a card, should make it cost at least. |

Challenge Suppositions Instant  Each player on your team may discard a card, then each player who discarded a card this way draws a card for each card discarded this way.
Btw, this was inspired by Azra Bladeseeker. |

I feel like this needs to have you choose every round? otherwise pretty much everyone will always take the combat step, because the other 2 make them unable to play entirely. |

What I really wanted was a way to have additional copies force them to choose different modes. I feel like that would be a really cool way to make it work. |

Finally have a proper laptop and access to Magic Set Editor! My first card is dedicated to me and my attempt to find sources for things I wrote when I was half asleep. A sort of white "stax" card as well as maybe a self curse for an artifact deck. I can't quite figure out how powerful the affect is.
EDIT: I changed the ability up, I think this way feels more classic stax; you can get rid of it but rarely will you want to, IMO
