She takes a moment to read the sign, then knocks on the door. "Gravedigger? She takes a moment to assess the woman before her, and nods, opening the door into her humble abode. "Please, come inside." Her voice is silky smooth, laced with grim undertones.
Gravedigger's Greeting Instant Return target creature card from your graveyard to your hand. Then, if a creature you control died this turn, return another target creature card from your graveyard to your hand. The grim hollow's door swung open, revealing a strange abode within.
Village Innocent is a fine card, if a little weak. 8/10

Gravedigger's Greeting: 7/10. Normally these effects go on sorceries, and the ones that return multiple things usually cost 3-4. I worry especially about the trigger within the context of a sacrifice deck, since you want your creatures to be dying anyway. That said, if it was a sorcery I'd like it a lot. Tactical Retreat is a very clean design, and I like it a lot. 9/10 Rot Rites: 9/10. Now I know that "Target card that could target a creature you control" is probably the way that should be worded but I don't like that it's the way that should be worded. The card itself is cool though. The warrior hesitates at the gravedigger's desire to push past the details, but only for a moment, and moves back towards the door. "They're just out here. Perhaps not, but that doesn't make this dance any more appetizing."Well, that's... comforting, I suppose. Here, I'll show them to the dead." Atlani leaves the tree, motioning for the... things to follow her. She leads them to the two bodies, about 100 feet from the tree. Rows of unmarked graves fill a secluded section of the Arena, a thick layer of moss coating the battered iron fence and ancient stone monoliths, remnants of dead world. Constructed in the roots of a large, decaying tree is a small stone structure, with a small sign by the door - "The Gravedigger". Winking into existence, the tall man strode forward as if walking through a door. He stopped after only a couple steps to look around. The bleak scene around him seemed common on this plane. Deserted and decaying. There was a small hut under a nearby tree. Arcanis figured that's why he was here. he was still getting used to this inexplicable force that drove people together here but he supposed that finding new associates wouldn't be a bad thing. Though he also wouldn't mind stretching his combat skills again. Stepping up to the door he sensed another being, this one also full of magical power. "My guess is you know I'm here already. But if you wish for me to knock, I will," Arc said to the Gravedigger labeled door. He would give plenty of time for a response, just in case he was off his mark on the sensitivity of the resident. He would knock if he was. He wasn't sure what he would find but he could feel an old spark of excitement begin to flow through his veins once more. (this is long overdue xd, apologies for the delay) Hightower Watch is a neat little common, and seems decently powerful too! I'm a fan 9/10
The amalgams follow her obediently, seemingly dolice and uninterested in her all together. The larger one, Kelon, lifts one of the bodies with unnerving strength, and hauls it over it's shoulder - an odd sight, considering the relatively small size of the creature, moving to drag it toward the tree that serves as Xyrma's abode. The smaller one mimics it's fellow, although considerably less sucessfully, ending up dragging the dead man through the muck. The two creatures seem not hostile, nor even sentient, their actions displaying no care for the living nor the dead.
Unnatural Strength
Instant Undergrowth - Target creature gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of creature cards in your graveyard. Past and future aligned as one of us. This card is very strong, and very flavorful. Probably not too good, but worth keeping an eye on as a versatile instant speed draw spell for lower powered contexts 9/10
Xyrma's eyes narrow, and she thinks for a moment before adressing Allatu's incorporeal form, a slight twinge of energy pushing back at the intrusion into Xyrma's mind. "I prefer not to converse in the manner of the Unseelie Ones. I will seek you out, fae"Dishonor the Gods

Arcanis recieves no immediate response - it appears his senses have missed their mark. However, as he approaches he begins to sense a more primal, unfocused magical energy inside the strange abode, a glimpse of something ancient and untamed.

Constructed in the roots of a large, decaying tree is a small stone structure, with a small sign by the door - "The Gravedigger". Atlani follows the creatures back inside, wary of what sorts of preparations they had planned, though thought it best to play along for now, and sit for tea as they worked. "So, if you're not from this area, then what brings you here?"
Malicious Despair Sorcery Target opponent reveals their hand. You choose a nonland card from it. That player discards that card, then ~ deals damage to any target equal to its mana value. Malicious Despair is fine - very underrate for hand attack, and I'm unsure the upside makes up for it. Sweet design tho 8/10The two amalgams hobble through the door in turn, loading the two corpses up and onto the stone plinth, which has been cleared off in her abscence. Xyrma looks up from something she's working at in the other corner of the room.' "The world I come from is not so kind. This place provides purpose, albeit a mundane one."Tragic Backstory Instant Return target creature card from your graveyard to your hand. Then, you may pay . If you do, return another target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield. Tragic Backstory: 7/10. It'd be good as a sorcery Atlani follows them to the plinth, standing opposite Xyrma, and looks over the corpses, ensuring that their eyes are closed. "True enough. What sorts of rites are done here? Or on your home plane? I feel sorry for not being familiar enough with how these two would like to be put to rest."Unkempt Ghoul Creature - Zombie Menace : Return ~ from your graveyard to your hand. 2/2

Not long after the beginning of winter, a woman wearing a heavy walking dress and matching mobcap, all in black, approaches the unmarked graves, not to mourn the bodies there, but to mourn a body no longer present on the Arena. She remains for some time, apparently deep in thought.
//If Xyrma can sense rot, then she can sense it surrounding the woman in droves, just out of sight in the blind eternities. I really like Eulogy - super cool design, very flavorful 10/10The unmistakable stench of decay pervades Xyrma's mind long before she exits her home, her head aching simply from the overwhelming force of rot surrounding the woman whose outline she can picture even from well beyond sight. The stench of power - and of death. Xyrma pushes open her door and peers out, and spots Lettie, the silhouette among the rot filled out in her mind's eye. "Can I help you?" Her tone is guarded and laced with unconcealed suspicion, eyes narrowed. Deadly Stalker Creature - Horror Exile two cards from your graveyard: Scry 1 2/2

Deadly Stalker Creature - Horror Exile two cards from your graveyard: Scry 1 2/2 In plain view, she seems ordinary enough, if not for what lies just beyond the veil of this plane; otherwise, it is easy to imagine that fumes would completely obscure her. The stench of gall, bile, and death is only present within Xyrma's senses. "I doubt you can, and I doubt you're here to offer help either." The stranger faces Xyrma; there are horrid circles beneath her eyes. "If I must, I will leave. Otherwise, I am here to contemplate the fates of a corpse, its maker, and its witness. Some months ago, someone was killed before my very eyes. Soon, either the killer or I shall also become a corpse... hence my contemplation of the nameless dead." Her speech is halting; she sounds as tired as she looks. Fatalistic Edict Sorcery Choose two target creatures controlled by the same player. Their controller sacrifices one of them. Either way, there will be justice.
Deadly Stalker — These sorts of manaless exile costs do exist, though they are relatively rare. I think that this one is appropriately costed, seeing as there is an upper limit on the returns between draws, and it's a fairly good response as a synergy piece. 9/10

Lettie feels hatred boiling her blood before she can fully understand what she is recalling, and Xyrma might sense the rot beyond the veil pulse as though to match a heart suddenly pounding. Despite this, Lettie keeps a level, if more noticeably halting tone in her retort. "No, it is im...possible. The tragedy struck when we tried to help the killer, and were they to be left to... to carry on, more suffering would be wrought by their hand. It is too late for... us to choose what is gained; all we... can do now is choose what will be lost." A few beats of the permeating heart pass as Lettie considers how restrained her next statement should be, before abandoning herself to spite. "I shall seek the bitter reward of justice... delayed, an end to heart-ache and the thousand... unnatural shocks we both are now heir to, or... I shall die trying, and find that end... that reward... all... the same."A Sea of Troubles Sorcery Target player mills a card, then discards a card, then sacrifices a permanent. That player loses 1 life for each land card in their graveyard. Which fates are nobler in the mind to suffer?
Hardy Troll — The card is insufficient as a response; going by the ruling on Barrin's Spite, you would have to make both of the targets illegal in order to stop the edict from going through. What will result if you use this is a two for one, as you lose the other creature, and you lose the card to activate this. I think there is potential in typed discard for hexproof (which is novel), but it's not great here. 6/10

Perfect rules text, but if I were to make this card, I would cost it at and make it a common sorcery. "I can't say I've heard of Ra Sinetra, but I trust that they will be respected."Atlani leaves the house for a moment to check the position of the sun, then comes back inside. "I believe I ought to be going. I told those who hired me that I would return by sundown. It was good to meet you, Xyrma. Hopefully we can meet again under less dour circumstances."She lets Xyrma say goodbye before heading off, leaving the graveyard.
